Leadership Legacy
(In Conversa on with great leaders of all mes)

Rules
Two participants shall represent each team.

Participants will have to choose a renowned historical character to


represent.

Participants will state the achievements, contribution and leadership


style of the character in one minute.

Selected 12 candidates will reach the next round.

In the final round two characters of contrasting ideologies/leadership


style/ approaches shall be sent on the stage together.

They will be given 2 minutes each to introduce, state the style and
achievements of the character they represent. Immediately after which
participants on stage shall get 2 minutes to refute, oppose and question
the stand /decisions/ideology of each other on stage.

Then next 2 minutes shall be to answer the questions of the jury members
and defend their historical decisions/acts.

Pain to Power
(Remedies to manage stress or other behavioural challenges)

Rules
Two participants shall represent one team and one team per class.

The team will present a situational case pertaining to psychological


issues commonly experienced by today's youth.

The team is required to research, conceptualize and deliberate on the


given problem and come up with solutions to handle it in a better way.

Each team shall be given 5 minutes to come on the stage, portray the
problem and suggest the remedies in the most creative and Innovative
manner.

The Smell of My Book
(Book Dissemina on)

Rules
Four participants shall represent one team.

The groups are supposed to read a book based on science fiction and
throw light on its genre of writing, its summary, the protagonist. The
members should also critically analyze the book.

A power point presentation should support the presentation on stage.

Each team will be given 5 minutes for the presentation.

Rules
Two participants shall represent one team.

There will be an elimination round of 16 questions and the top 6 teams will
make it to the finals.

The elimination round will be followed by a written tie-breaker if two


teams are tied.

The quiz master’s decision will be final and binding.

Envision
(Mul Format Debate)
The debate team shall comprise two members.

Preliminary (First) round


1- The first round of the debate will feature both members.
2- A mo on will be given 10 minutes before the commencement
of the debate.
3- One member of the team will speak on the mo on as a
turncoat debate (1.5 minutes + 1.5 minutes)
4- The second member will be given 1.5 minutes for the
extempore speech. The topic will be given on the spot.

Semi-Finals
1: The top 4 teams of the preliminary round will make it to the
semi-finals. Each semi-final is a face-off between two teams.
The two semi-final winners will qualify for the finals. The topics
will be given 5 minutes before the start of the debate.

2: The opening speakers of the two teams will speak for 3


minutes each. The second speakers of the two teams will
speak for 1.5 minutes each. The opposi on and the
proposi on opening speakers will close the debate with final
statements of 1.2 minutes each.

Finals
1: The finals will have the same format as the semi-finals for the
first two speakers. The only change is that there will be no
closing speech. Instead, there will be a 30-second closing
statement from each side. The me limit for the two speakers
from both sides will remain the same as in the semi-finals.
2: One speaker will be nominated by the team to face the Block-
and-Tackle format of deba ng in the finals.

BLOCK-AND-TACKLE FORMAT

Block-and-Tackle is a turncoat debate on a faster track. Whenever the


speaker hears the instruc on 'BLOCK' he has to go against the mo on
and as he hears 'TACKLE' he has to revert back to favour the mo on.

The speaker can be 'blocked' and 'tackled' any number of mes,
some mes on every word and turn of phrases. It will be conducted by
the jury-chair.

The prizes for the debates are as follows.

4- Four Best Speakers Preliminary Round
5- Two Best Speakers Semi-Finals
6- Best Speaker Finals
7- Best Delega on-Research
8- Best Interjector

The team shall comprise of four members.

Pick any one topic out of these to prepare the model (climate change,
bio-diversity, pollu on and poverty reduc on).

Team will be provided with plug point.

Team members should be able to explain their project and answer the
queries of the Judges.

The class will be represented by two par cipants.

The par cipants have to prepare an ad. on the spot and present it.

The par cipants should wear appropriate costume and use


props/backdrops according to the ad.

The size of the paper should be A3

Water color, Poster color, Mix medium can be used to make the
pain ng impressive.

Teacher of the school, before 6th of July 2025.

Name, Class, Event Name to be wri en at the back of the pain ng/art
work.

The World through my lens
(Photography)

The class will be represented by two par cipants.

The topic of Photography is reflec ons.

Each par cipant must submit only one picture. The photograph must
be a minimum of 1200 pixels on the shorter size at 300 DPI in JPEG
format. Orienta on can be landscape or portrait. The size of the
photograph can be up to 25 MB.

A Google form is sent for the submission of the photograph and other
details before 6th July 2025.

(Essay Wri ng)

The class will be represented by two par cipants.

The topic of Essay Wri ng is, ‘As one journey ends, another begins.’

Word limit - 1000 words.

The crea ve piece should be submi ed to Ms. Ranjana Singh before


6th July 2025.
