Cause and Effect of Climate Change

Climate change, primarily driven by human activities such as manufacturing, deforestation, and transportation, is causing significant increases in global temperatures and severe weather patterns. The consequences include ecological imbalances, more frequent natural disasters, and adverse effects on health and biodiversity. Urgent action is needed to mitigate these impacts and protect the environment for future generations.

CAUSE AND EFFECT OF CLIMATE CHANGE – HÀ THUỲ DƯƠNG

Climate change is the long-term increase in the earth's average surface

temperature and the large-scale changes in global, regional, and local weather
patterns that result from that increase, caused by a significant increase in the
levels of greenhouse gases that are produced by the use of fossil fuels. In
contrast, nearly all scientists agree that the climate changes we are seeing today
are cause by human activities, especially manufacturing goods and foods,
cutting down forests, using transportation and these activities are having serious
negative effects on our planet.

Today's manufacturing industry is evolving and machines seem to be present at

every stage of production. Manufacturing and industry produce emissions,
mostly from burning fossil fuels to produce energy for making things like cement,
iron, steel, electronics, plastics, clothes, and other goods that a reason why the
manufacturing industry is one of the largest contributors to greenhouse gas
emissions worldwide. In addition, humans also affect nature by cutting down
forests, causing ecological imbalance. People cut down forests to build high-rise
buildings, industrial parks or large farms, but that is also the cause of floods. One
more cause of serious climate change is that people are using more and more
means of transport. Most cars, trucks, ships, and planes run on fossil fuels. That
makes transportation a major contributor of greenhouse gases, especially
carbon-dioxide emissions and trends point to a significant increase in energy use
for transport over the coming years.

In the 4.0 era, people's needs are increasing, making people increasingly have to
exploit more resources, develop production activities, but these are also the
causes of an worsening climate environment. As greenhouse gas concentrations
rise, so does the global surface temperature.Since the 1980s, each decade has
been warmer than the previous one. Nearly all land areas are seeing more hot
days and heat waves. Higher temperatures increase heat-related illnesses and
make working outdoors more difficult. Wildfires start more easily and spread
more rapidly when conditions are hotter. In recent years, destructive storms
have become more intense and more frequent in many regions. Such storms
often destroy homes and communities, causing deaths and huge economic
losses.
In addition , climate change is altering water availability, making it more scarce
in many regions, and that's why droughts are happening more often.

In conclusion, we can see many effects of climate change seriously affecting our
environment, health and biodiversity. If we still do not take any action to prevent
climate change, our mother earth will become more serious. Moreover, when
deforestation continues, it will cause many different consequences for our
environment. Climate change will also lead to psychological problems such as
post-traumatic disorder, stress, anxiety and violence in the community.
Therefore, in order to protect the environment and for the next generation to
have a better place to live, we must always know how to prevent climate change
such as stopping trees, saving energy, ... Therefore, let's together to protect and
love this beautiful Earth.
