Application in plain paper are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Project Research
Scientist-l (Non- Medical) and Project Technical support-ll in the ICMR project entitled "Screening
and Functional analysis of ALDHlL2(rs99841702) and PNPLA3 (rs738409) germline variants in
different cohorts of chronic liver disease cases" Under the supervision of Dr. Subhash Medhi, F.l.
Department of Bioengineering and Technology, Gauhati University, Guwahati-7SL0L4 for a period
of one year or till completion of the project.

o Candidates are requested to in plain mentioning detail educational qualification and
experience along with all credentials in support of educational qualifications, age,
cast/community, experience certificate and affixing a colour passport size photograpn to

within 2odays from the date of advertisement by 4.00 p.m. The date of walk in
interview/online interview will be intimated to the eligible/shortlisted candidates by e-
mail. Candidates who will be shortlisted for interview should bring all the original
certificates of educational qualification (Degree Certificate/Statement of mark sheet;),
experience certificates etc along with one set of self-attested Xerox of the same ano a
recent passport size photograph.
Experience certificate should clearly state the nature of work during the period of employment
. The engagement will be up to three years from engagement or up to the further extension
period of the project, subject to satisfactory work performance and requirement.
o Canvassing in any form, shall be a disqualification.
. Age relaxation is admissible as per Govt. of lndia/ICMR/Norms.
o Experience shall be counted from the date of completion of minimum essential education
qualification.
No benefit of provident fund, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Claim etc, will be considered,
except the consolidated pay since the positions are purely temporary basis.
o No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in-interview/persona I discussion.
o The above positions are filled-up on purely temporary basis and contractual basis. The
candidate will have no right to claim for any type of permanent Employment unoer
Gauhati University or continuation of his/her services in any other project.
