2.1 Contractor/Supplier will obtain the location for stacking from OC RCC, if not
specified in the Terms and Condition of the GeM Contract. The materials supplied by
the Contractor shall be stacked at his own cost on a level ground at HQ 15 BRTF
location as per quantities given in Para-1 above.

2.2 Measurement for payment shall be as per Para 520.5 of MoRT&H

Specification of Road & Bridge Wks (5th Rev). All materials supplied by the
Contractor and measured shall be paid in cubic meters. The actual volume of the
aggregates / stone to be paid for shall be computed after deducting the percentage
of voids specified above, from the volume computed by stack measurements to allow
for bulking / voids. Unless otherwise directed, measurements shall not be taken until
sufficient materials for use have been collected and stacked. Immediately after
measurement, the stacks shall be marked with lime or other means as directed.

2.3 Quantities given in the bid documents are net quantities after deduction of
voids. The Contractor shall supply the corresponding gross quantities, considering
the percentage voids and payment shall be made for the net quantities. Rates
quoted by the Contractor shall be for the net quantities.

2.4 However, if the rate of river sand is quoted as per unit weight (i.e. Kg, MT etc.)
then weight of river sand for payment to the contractor shall be calculated
considering the density of sand as 1700 kg/cum. Payment will be made by
measuring volume of stack in cum and voids will be deducted (as given in Para-1
above) from the stack measurement to arrive at the net quantity to be paid for.

3. RUBBLE STONE:
