 LakeshoreRP Basic Rules

●​ All players must be 18+ to play the server. You will be removed if you are a minor or
underage.
●​ You MUST have a working microphone to play, we are a strict voice roleplay server.
●​ All players must have access to a clipping software and it must be running at all times,
our report system requires a 2 minute minimum clip to report a player. If you have no clip
you will not be assisted.
●​ The use of /me and /do MUST be used in all premeditated actions. They should be used
as much as possible to help aid your scenarios.
●​ You are not permitted to sell anything in game for real life money or trade for out of game
items. This is a violation of CFX’s Platform License Agreement.
●​ Your character needs to have a realistic name, correct pronunciation, and must not break
TOS.
●​ Players must follow Twitch.tv Terms of Service (TOS) at all times.
●​ No hitman role-play is allowed (TOS reasoning).
●​ No hard r***rd this will result in a 1 week ban.
●​ No spitting or peeing on anyone. Instant permanent ban.
●​ Being toxic or breeding toxicity on any platform (including but not limited to Twitch,
YouTube, Discord, etc.) can result in removal from the community at any point in time.
●​ Speaking on the IRL deceased is strictly prohibited. Violators of this rule will be punished
appropriately.
●​ We enforce a strict code of conduct within our community and act on items that are
distasteful, such as harassment, sexual harassment, excessive name-calling, shaming, or
targeted personal attacks. This can result in a permanent ban.
●​ You’re not allowed to leak information about another person or make threats.
●​ You’re not allowed to intimidate players from playing on the server or continuously harass
them in-game for out-of-character reasons.
●​ Simply put, respect one another and always have justification and reasoning for your
actions. Saying “it's my character” will not be considered a valid excuse.
●​ Impersonating the owner, staff, and/or government officials will result in a permanent ban.
●​ Third party modifications which give a player any type of advantage over another player
are strictly prohibited (mods, crosshairs, unlimited stamina, soft aim etc.)
●​ 100k or die graphics are not allowed. ​
●​ Controller usage is not allowed.
●​ If you do not have the Lakeshore RP female role, you may not RP as a female nor on a
female ped.
●​ Any tickets opened for another player will be instantly closed.

 Common Courtesy

●​ You are expected to treat others with respect.

●​ Do not break rules because someone else did. You will be banned based on your actions.
●​ Avoid disrupting, stalling, or voiding roleplay without admin instruction.
●​ Failure to roleplay injuries properly, refusing roleplay, and avoiding roleplay is not allowed.
●​ Racism, homophobia, misgendering, and hateful remarks are strictly prohibited.
●​ Respect administrators' decisions and messages.
●​ Insulting another player through out-of-character channels (Discord, etc.) is unacceptable
and you can face consequences if reported.
●​ Avoid unrealistic property sales or unreasonably inflating prices.
●​ Always report bugs/exploits; exploiting them will result in a permanent ban. It is the
responsibility of players to report others who break the rules.
●​ OOC toxicity is prohibited.

Civilian Rules

●​ Civs should NOT be moving around like a gang. If you want to rob/kill, join a gang!
●​ If you are roleplaying as a family, please go out as a family and act like a family. You
should not be robbing as a family. If someone threatens your family, you may then partake in
illegal activities.
●​ You may not wear gang flags or false claim as a gang. Gangs may kill you if you are
caught false claiming.
●​ You cannot beef with a faction, you may only have personal beef with specific faction
members with the proper roleplay. Be ready for the consequences if you fail to follow this.
●​ Civs may rob with the proper roleplay behind it. You may not go around robbing people
because you feel like it. GET A JOB!

 Interactions

Basic Interactions:

●​ All interactions MUST have a 2 minute long clip (minimum).

●​ Admins MUST be able to see the scene from START to FINISH.
●​ The interactions must be the whole 2 minutes and the following illegal actions may occur
immediately after.
●​ You MUST have a valid reason to kill/rob a person not because “you want to”. This all
goes back to having common courtesy.
●​ Torture or extremely gross roleplay is NOT allowed. Scenarios such as rape and
nonconsential touching are prohibited. If at any time you feel uncomfortable with the
roleplay, you can leave the roleplay and report it.
●​ A player breaking the rules doesn’t mean the roleplay stops. You must continue with the
scene and not break character. If you have an issue with the player or scene, submit a
report in-game or in discord.
●​ Bugs and desync issues should be roleplayed out.
●​ Players trying to meet someone via stream sniping is NOT allowed. If you’re found guilty
of this, you will be permanently banned and have your whitelist revoked.
●​ Players cannot void roleplay or any scenario unless a Lead Admin or above says
otherwise. You must follow all administrator instructions.

Criminal Interactions:

●​ You are not allowed to commit any criminal activity 15 minutes before restart & 15
minutes after restart.
●​ Criminal activities are limited to 4 players max at a time.
●​ You cannot conduct any illegal transactions inside of a green zone.
●​ Posting dead bodies on birdy or any sort of social media is NOT ALLOWED.
●​ You must have a backpack on in order to carry a rifle on foot.
●​ You are prohibited from reloading in any shooting scene.
●​ You may not commit a crime to a player until 5 minutes after they load in and actively
move.
●​ You may not commit a crime in luxury vehicles, electric vehicles, donor cars, muscle
cars, armored cars or heavy duty trucks.

Robbing/Scamming Interactions:
​
Robbery is the act of forcibly taking someone’s belongings—such as money or
items—through the use of force or threats. Scamming refers to deceiving someone by
offering a product or service and then failing to deliver or pay as agreed. Both robberies
and scams must be carried out strictly through in-character roleplay.

●​ There is no scam limit.

●​ You must always have a valid reasoning behind robbing someone.
●​ Robbing and scamming in green zones is prohibited.
●​ If you rob someone, you cannot kill them unless they do not fear for their life or fail to
follow commands.
●​ Looting people who are dead or knocked out is prohibited.
●​ If you are involved in a botched robbery, you are liable to be robbed during your escape.
●​ You cannot rob/shoot a player while they are performing a scripted job on the server
(mechanic, electrician, delivery job, etc.) ​
●​ If you are being robbed and you’re outnumbered you MUST fear for your life ONLY if
you’re alone.
●​ You are not allowed to force someone to empty their bank account or force entry into
a home.
●​ Players are unable to force another player to sell them their vehicle during a robbery.
●​ Players are unable to force other players to hand over assets that aren’t present in the
area.
●​ You can ONLY tell a player to 'put their hands up' or 'don't move' if you intend to rob them,
not if you intend to kill them.
●​ You are not allowed to rob or shoot any individual on a crutch. If they are to “powergame”
the crutch like provoke you then you will be able to only ROB the person.
●​ You do not need any prior interaction to rob anyone inside of a red zone.
●​ You may not premeditate a robbery on any EMS or PD. If you come in contact with any of
their equipment you must immediately return it or face punishment.
●​ You may only participate in one robbery per hour.
●​ All robbing rules apply to any hostage situations as well.

Emergency Service Interactions:

●​ FEAR PD!
●​ You cannot kill medical services.
●​ You are not allowed to hold medics at gunpoint. Holding medics at gunpoint to prevent
from healing someone is also prohibited.
●​ Cop Baiting is not allowed. You may not do something illegal for the police to engage.
●​ Impersonating emergency services is prohibited, including dressing up as well.
●​ You may not insert yourself in a scene regarding police.
●​ You may not run after being revived by EMS, you must stay and be arrested.
●​ If you put someone in prison, you must take them to get healed.
●​ You may not kill PD just because. Must have proper roleplay behind it.
●​ There must be a 2 minute police chase before weapons are drawn.
●​ YOU CANNOT AMBUSH COPS!

 Metagaming

Using out-of-character information while in-character to influence decisions while

roleplaying. Encouraging others to metagame will also be a violation of this rule.

●​ Watching a player’s social links (Twitch, YouTube, Kick, Tiktok, Discord, etc.) while you
and the player are both in Lakeshore roleplaying is prohibited. ​
●​ Using third-party gathered information (finding someones location or stash through
stream) while in game is prohibited.
●​ Using third-party apps to communicate while you are in the city [Discord, Twitch, Skype
etc.] is prohibited.
●​ Transferring money or items between characters is prohibited, that includes asking
others as well.
●​ Using information obtained from your other soul on your other is prohibited, also known
as “character bleeding” is not allowed.
●​ Identifying another character who is wearing a mask or inside of a tinted vehicle, also
known as “voice identifying” is prohibited.
●​ Free-cam is prohibited and only to be used as a camera for photos.
●​ Following someone in the city using out-of-city knowledge is prohibited.
●​ Metagaming is a 2 week ban for your first offense and a permanent ban on your second
offense.

Powergaming
Powergaming refers to the practice of exploiting in-game mechanics or performing
actions that give a player an unfair edge over others. This often involves doing
unrealistic things without allowing other players a fair opportunity to react or escape, or
using in-game systems in unintended ways. This is against Lakeshore rules.

●​ Jumping while running to gain speed, going in first person to gain speed, spam punching
during fist fights, speedboosting, using key-binded animations to hide, evade or “duck”,
emote cancelling, attempting to cuff a player without proper roleplay, and going in another
player’s pockets forcefully or while PD has them cuffed.
●​ Fleeing into apartments, houses, warehouses, buildings, and green zones to avoid
roleplay or flee a scene.
●​ Roleplaying unrealistic character traits to gain an advantage in a scene.
●​ Jumping into water or ramps during a chase.
●​ Driving at unrealistic speeds with no valid reason over and over.
●​ The use of voice changer must be approved by staff before implementing.
●​ Avoiding RP in green zones and using a greenzone to your advantage.
●​ Talking/Organizing/Texting/Calling out locations while downed.
●​ You cannot have your hands in your pockets or hoodie to hide weapons.
●​ Doing illegal transactions in green zones, if done you will not be refunded for what is
lost.

 Deathmatching

Random Deathmatching is killing another character without any prior interactions or

valid reasoning. This is not allowed.

Vehicle Deathmatching is purposely using your vehicle to injure or kill another player.
This is only allowed if the other person poses a threat to you and you have a reasonable
fear for your life. If you hit someone by mistake it will not be labeled vehicle
deathmatching unless proved otherwise.

●​ You MUST always have a prior interaction with a reasonable storyline leading up to it in
order to kill someone. Should not kill on your first interaction.
●​ All initiations must occur with your voice volume set to shout.
●​ Returning to the scene is prohibited to interact.
●​ If you are knocked out by a bullet, you may either RP your injuries or continue in the
shoot out.
●​ If you shoot someone you should not overkill unless it is an active CK scene.

Exploiting

Exploiting game mechanics or GTA mechanics to gain an advantage in your

gameplay[rp] is not permitted.

●​ Sunbathing/Emote exploiting into buildings are prohibited.

●​ Using emotes to hide or “duck” is prohibited. ​
●​ Emote cancelling is prohibited.
●​ You may not spam-carry people while dead or emote on people while dead or
knocked.
●​ You may not emote exploit pockets [/e pockets]
●​ If you are caught dropping drugs when selling to NPC’s, you will be permanently banned.

Out Of Character (OOC)

●​ OOC is prohibited and can result in adminjail, depending on the severity, it may result in
a ban.
●​ While roleplaying you must stay in character and use roleplay terms. “Head popped, see
the light etc.

 Combat Logging
Exiting the server to avoid further roleplay or prevent the loss of items in a scene
whether it is valid or invalid is considered combat logging, and is a bannable offense.

●​ You may log out 15 minutes after the scene has concluded.
●​ Quitting the game mid scene or turning off your wifi is prohibited.
●​ Relogging to avoid a scene and waiting on the loading screen for the scene to clear is
prohibited.
●​ If you are in a shootout, you must complete the scene and be revived by ems before
logging out.
●​ Exploiting while dead is prohibited.
●​ If you are in an active police chase or scene involving weapons you must complete the
scene before logging out.
●​ If you are getting robbed, you must wait until the person has left to log out.
●​ If you have been pronounced dead on scene you must wait until after your player has
been CK’d before logging out.
●​ Combat logging results in a 2 week ban for your first offense and results in a permanent
ban on your second offense.

NEW LIFE RULE [NLR]

If your character is downed or rendered incapacitated, they MUST forget the

immediate events leading up to that scene.

●​ If your character respawns at the hospital (sees the light) you cannot remember
ANYTHING regarding the circumstances that got them there.
●​ You may not “see the light” if you’ve been advised that EMS or PD are on the way to you.
●​ While incapacitated on scene you must try and contact medical services as long as you
are not flat backed.
●​ If you died after any scene, you may not return to the scene.
●​ You may not recover items lost at the scene.

NOT VALUING LIFE [NVL]

Your character should not engage in conflict that could get them injured or killed,
unless for roleplay circumstances. You must value your character's life at all times.

●​ You should flee a scene if you are in any harm.

●​ Antagonizing gang members or pd without valid reasons is prohibited and a bannable
offense.

 ●​ Inserting your character into a violent interaction or scene is prohibited and
considered failed roleplay.
●​ If you are being held at gunpoint you are to do whatever they instruct you to.
●​ Performing dangerous stunts and not roleplaying injuries is considered failed roleplay.
●​ Continuously not valuing your life is consenting staff to deleting your character.

Revenge Roleplay
Revenge RP is repeatedly messing with the same person, a tit-for-tat situation involving
violent crimes or bad interactions.

●​ You may only get revenge ONCE for a single interaction.

●​ You must have been directly affected by that person’s actions in order to retaliate.
●​ Camping green zones for revenge is prohibited.

GREEN ZONES
Green Zones are where all illegal interactions and provoking are prohibited. If you are in
an active scene with a player and they flee into a green zone then the roleplay is allowed
to continue.

Locations:
●​ Player-owned businesses ONLY when business is open (including parking lot and
sidewalks connected to the business).
●​ Announced server events (unless mentioned otherwise, including sidewalk).
●​ Hospitals and connected sidewalks.
●​ Government official buildings.
●​ The ENTIRE main clothing including parking lot and connected sidewalks.
●​ Inside clothing stores, tattoo shops, barber shops and banks (including ATM).
●​ Places of worship.
●​ Car dealerships.
●​ Casino including parking lot and connected sidewalks.
●​ Spawn locations.
●​​ You may not have any firearm or weapon visibly out in a green zone.
●​ Sitting and loitering in green zones is prohibited, Lakeshore has a lot to offer, please go
roleplay.

 Character Development
All characters MUST have a storyline.

●​ All Characters MUST have a valid storyline and it must expand overtime.
●​ You may not commit crimes “just because” you will be banned for “no intent to roleplay”.
●​ If you are a civ, you must have a job or role play out an in city job in order to purchase
property.
●​ If you are doing Family RP, you must move as a family and do family activities.
●​ Character asset transferring is prohibited. (Giving homes to other souls, reselling your
home, cars, money, etc.)

Character Kills
A character kill [ck] is the complete wipe of your character.

●​ If you have a consistent storyline with someone, including 3 death animation

interactions, you are subject to a character kill (must have all clips).

GOVERNMENT EMPLOYMENT
Government Employees are held to a higher standard than other players so more rules do
apply.

●​ Corrupt roleplay is not permitted in Lakeshore RP.

●​ Emergency Services must have 2 separate souls and the separate souls cannot be in a
gang.
●​ Government Officials are not permitted to jail over 200 months without approval.
●​ Police officers MUST utilize lockers for evidence, if you are caught harboring evidence
you will be permanently banned from the server.
●​ Medics may not carry firearms while on-duty but they may carry a melee weapon for their
safety.
●​ Medics may not kill or provoke on duty.
●​ All Emergency staff must be dressed in the appropriate uniforms.
●​ If you are undercover, you may not wear any inappropriate mask and must present
identification when making an arrest.
●​ If asked if you are law enforcement, you MUST confirm.
●​ You may not plant drugs or illegal items on suspects.
●​ All medics must drive appropriate given vehicles.

 REPORTING

●​ If you are reporting a player or a scene it must be reported within 12 hours from when the
scene took place.
●​ We must be able to hear both you and the player being reported in the clip with clear
audio.
●​ When reporting, the clip has to be from your point of view.
●​ All harassment and disrespect in tickets is prohibited.
●​ You may appeal for all bans, if you feel like the decision was unjust then you can request
a higher up. Management has the last say so, they are always on the communities side and
unbiased.
●​ If you are reporting someone for breaking a rule and you are also found breaking a rule
you will be punished as well.

REFUNDS

Please note that all donations made to the server are final and non-refundable under any
circumstances. These contributions support the server’s maintenance and development,
ensuring a stable and enjoyable experience for the community. This policy applies to
whitelist applications, instant whitelisting, scripts, and any in-game assets granted as
part of a donation (if applicable).
