within the program of study.
NOTES
After the enrollment correction deadline for foreign languages, P.E. and humanities
and management subjects, dropping out from classes will not be possible. Entry to
classes conflicting with others is not blocked, but it cannot be a reason for dropping
out from such classes after enrollment corrections.
Entry in a retake subject will generate the respective (to the number and importance of
the retake subjects) amounts in the student's financial obligations. Within 14 days
from the date of the charge for the retake subject in USOS, the fees arising from the
enrollment in retake subjects must be paid. Students who fail to do so will be subject
to the appropriate steps provided by the Rules and Regulations of the Wrocław
University of Technology - including removal from the list of students.
For enrollment in foreign languages, P.E., humanities and management subjects, an
enrollment queue will be created, where each student will be assigned his/her
enrollment date. In justified and documented fortuitous cases, a request may be made
to the Vice Rektor for Education for a change in the deadline for university-wide
enrollment. Requests in this regard can be submitted, from,12 - 14.09.2023, to the
following email address: [email protected]. Problems and concerns related
to specific classes and subjects should be resolved at the units offering the classes and
subjects. Errors in personal information should be reported to your own department.
1. ROUND - students with priority, i.e., students with special needs (disabilities), Student
Council members, students in their last semesters of study (6th semester of undergraduate
studies, 7th semester of undergraduate studies, and 3rd and 4th semester of graduate studies),
2. ROUND for enrollment in foreign languages - students who have a foreign language in the
winter cycle 2023/2024 in the stage requirements to be realized (students will be plugged into
the enrollment according to the scores of the blocks (groups of subjects) indicated in the
stage),
2. ROUND for enrollment in physical education classes - students who in the winter cycle
2023/2024 have in the stage requirements to implement physical education classes,
3. ROUND for enrollment in foreign languages - students who are repeating a foreign
language, and students who have not realized a foreign language even though they should
have, and other students who have not yet realized foreign language classes (for whom this
would be an "advance" realization). In this group, there will always be only students who
have not realized a set of points from blocks (groups of subjects) of foreign language.
Students in this group will only be added to the queue for the number of points they have not
yet realized...
3. ROUND for enrollment in physical education classes - students who have not yet
completed all physical education classes required by the plan and program of study.
Wrocław, 14.07.2023
PROREKTOR DS. KSZTAŁCENIA
Prof.dr.hab. Kamil Staniec
Students are required to enroll in foreign languages, P.E., humanities and management
subjects by the announced deadline according to the study plan. Classes must be
enrolled by the enrollment deadline, not by the adjustment date! Classes for which the
required number of students is not reached may be eliminated before the enrollment is
corrected.
After enrollment, it is the student's responsibility to check whether all the subjects
he/she enrolled in will be started. For possible changes to previously made entries or
to check whether the entry was made correctly, there are enrollment
corrections/adjustments. Entries can be changed already during enrollment (without
waiting for enrollment corrections).
Any entry, change or withdrawal from a course after the enrollment correction
deadline is possible only in exceptional situations with the approval of the Dean of
your own faculty and the Dean or Director of the teaching unit (department, studium)
conducting the course. Any other way of resigning from a subject after the deadline
for correction is equivalent to failing the subject. Each subject for which a student has
enrolled is charged to his/her individual account.
In the first degree program(undergraduate studies), a student has 120 hours divided
into two semesters (B2.1 and B2.2 or C1.1 and C1.2) to achieve the required B2 (or
C1) language level. If the required level is reached in 60 hours and 3 ECTS credits are
earned, the student may choose from the SJO's offer of a 60-hour course of any other
language at a level adequate to his/her professional needs for 2 ECTS credits. In the
case of a first degree program being conducted in English, the student is required to
complete a 120-hour course of study at level C (i.e., C1.1 and C1.2 or C1.2 and
another language at any level) in the foreign language in which the degree program is
conducted or, with the approval of the Faculty Council, the student may complete a
120-hour course of study of any other foreign language at any level (e.g., for
foreigners, "Polish as a foreign language" at level A1). The student must obtain a total
of 5 ECTS credits for the completion of the lectures during the course of study at the
undergraduate level.
- In the case of continuing the study of a foreign language after completing one semester of a
lecture course, the completion of a higher degree is required, regardless of the degree program
- In a given stage/semester, you can enroll in a maximum of two foreign language classes -
provided they are different languages, and two humanities and management subjects.
- In a given stage/semester, you can enroll in one sports class resulting from the study plan
and program.
- For sports sections, the qualification of the coach is mandatory (you can not enroll on your
own) - on the first classes of the section.
