Current employees will be placed on the new schedule above according to the following:

• Previous step 11 moves to the new step 3 in 2024-25, then step 4 in 2025-26
• Previous step 12 moves to the new step 4 in 2024-25, then step 5 in 2025-26
• Previous step 13 moves to the new step 5 in 2024-25, then step 6 in 2025-26
• Previous step 14 moves to the new step 6 in 2024-25, then step 7 in 2025-26
• Previous step 15 moves to the new step 11 in 2024-25, then step 12 in 2025-26

New hires (after July 1, 2024) shall be placed on the step that is based on their years of creditable service and
according to the degree held. The maximum step for creditable service shall be step 11 in the 2024-2025 school
year and shall be step 12 in the 2025-2026 school year.
