NOTE FOR TEACHERS

Navratri Pooja : 04.04.2025


There will be a pooja performed in the school. Keep all the things ready for the pooja in advance
[03.04.2025]. Call for some bananas as prasad cut them and distribute it to the students during lunch. Also
mark a tilak on the forehead.
World Health day : 07.04.2025
Enlighten students with the concept of health, being healthy and also about eating healthy. Also, tell them
about the junk and healthy food. We will send a questionnaire to the parents to be filled and sent back to
understand the child’s eating habits. Based on the questionnaire we will guide/advice the parents.

Clean up : 11.04.2025
Teachers are supposed to throw litter in the class and keep the class untidy in the morning. The students
will enter a dirty classroom. Check for their reactions and then ask them what difference did they find and
how can this be rectified. Also tell them that they should clean up their toys and place them back in their
right place after playing and also to throw any litter in the bins and ensure that they make their place clean
at all times. One important thing is not to throw anything outside the window while travelling. Find a bin
or trash and then throw the collected wastes.

Spring Festival : 16.04.2025


Spring is the season of fall. The old yellow leaves fall and it pays way to the new green leaves. The
concept of Spring will be made aware by teachers in the Assembly/hall. The teacher must herself be
prepared for the same[get the write up from Google], decoration related to flowers, leaves and a lot of
green effect will be on display.

Earth Day : 22.04.2025


Earth is the only planet we live in and to ensure that we live in it for centuries to come, we need to ensure
that we protect it by growing more and more trees, do not cut trees, do not use plastics, save water etc…..
Clean up is an initiative to Save the Earth. Show them a movie on Save earth and also take them out for
Nature walk so that they can be grateful for the beautiful earth. Also help them learn a few slogans and
give them task to tell their people at home about the importance of Save earth and ways to save the earth.
Also give them a round cut out and help them colour it with blue and green specifying water and greenery.

✓ Kerchief Folding – Take a square sheet and fold it like a handkerchief and paste it on a sheet/drawing
book.
✓ Gratitude – teach children the meaning of gratitude in the assembly and teach them a few lines on
Gratitude.

❖ We thank you for a beautiful family
❖ We thank you for the wonderful school
❖ We thank you for the loving teachers
❖ We thank you for everything.
✓ Chanting Aum – Children will chant AUM the long way with their breathe.

Simple Instructional Exercises – Weekly thrice. Drill with hand and leg movement with a count of 1-8 and
8-1

English Speaking – Practice these sentences on a daily and regular basis with your students. No excuses.
Story, Rhymes and Vocabulary to be used regularly by the teachers in the class. Teachers to speak in
English in the school premises.

Mother’s Day Craft – Teachers will get a craft prepared on the last day before we retire for the Summer
Break. The craft ideas can be shared by all in the group. We will finally choose and circulate it. Also
teachers must prepare kids for a rhyme which they will recite in front of their mommy on Mother’s day.
