Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior was born on February 5, 1992, in Mogi das
Cruzes, São Paulo, Brazil. From a young age, he showed great talent with the
ball, influenced by his father, a former football player. He grew up playing futsal
and street football, which helped shape his quick and skillful style. At the age of
11, he joined the youth academy of Santos Futebol Clube, where he quickly
stood out as a rising star.
Rise at Santos
Neymar made his professional debut for Santos in 2009, at just 17 years old.
He quickly became the team's standout player, dazzling fans across Brazil with
his dribbling, goals, and charisma. In 2010, he was named the Best Player of
the São Paulo State Championship, and in 2011, he won the FIFA Puskás Award
for the most beautiful goal of the year. With Santos, he won major titles
including the Copa do Brasil (2010), the Copa Libertadores (2011), and multiple
state championships.

Barcelona and PSG
In 2013, Neymar signed with Barcelona, where he played alongside Messi and
