Pak-Austria Fachhochschule: Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology (A Public Sector Degree Awarding
Chartered Institute) is a unique educational institution in Pakistan which is closely collaborating with several
institutions in Austria and China and will award multiple foreign degrees. The Institute is looking for potential
applicants, to be appointed on the following positions on regular basis.
Post and Qualification/Experience
1. Provost/Director Student Affairs (SPS-14) No. of Position -01
PhD with 12 years experience of Teaching, Hostel Administration/Management of student affairs/
Academics in HEC recognized University /Institution or any Government or Semi Government National
Organization in BPS-17 and equivalent in special pay scales or above.

1st Division MS/M Phil with 14 years of experience of Teaching, hostel Administration /Management of
student affairs/Academics in HEC recognized University /Institution or any Government or Semi

2. Manager QEC (SPS-13), No. of Position- 01
PhD with 08 years' experience in Teaching/ Academic Research/Administration in HEC recognized
University/ Institution or Government or Semi Government organization in BPS-17 and equivalent in
special pay scales or above having proven record of accomplishment in the relevant field.
3. Manager ORIC (SPS-13), No. of Position- 01
PhD with 08 years' experience in Teaching/Administration/Academic Research, University- Industry
linkages, collaboration etc in HEC recognized University/Institution or any Government or Semi
Government national organization in BPS-17 and equivalent in special pay scales or above having
proven record of accomplishment in the relevant field.
4. Deputy Director Establishment (SPS-12) No. of Position- 01
1st Division MS/M.Phil in Economics, Law, Business Administration, Mass communication/IR or
English with 05 years' experience in HEC recognized University /Institution or any Government or Semi
Government national organization in BPS-17 and equivalent in special pay scales or above

5. Deputy Manager ORIC (SPS-12) No. of Position- 01
PhD with 03 years' experience in Teaching /Academic research, University- industry linkages,
collaboration etc in HEC recognized University /Institution or any Government or Semi Government
national organization in BPS-17 and equivalent in special pay scales or above having proven record of
accomplishment in the relevant field.

1st Division MS/M.Phil in Commerce /Finance/ Accounting or 1st Division Master degree (with two
year SAS/PIPFA) in Commerce /Finance/ Accounting or CA with 01 year relevant experience

8. Assistant Manager, Works (SPS-11), No. of Position- 01
BSc in Civil/Structural Engineering with 05 years post qualification relevant experience in HEC
recognized University/Institution or any Government or Semi Government national organization
9. Sports Officer (SPS-11), No. of Position- 01
1st Division Master's degree (16 years of education) in Physical Education with 03 years relevant
experience in HEC recognized University/Institution or any Government or Semi Government national
organization in BPS-16 and equivalent in special pay scales and above
10. Medical Officer (SPS-11) No. of Position- 01
MBBS from PMDC recognized and registered institution with one year house job in any
Government or Semi Government national organization or PMDC registered hospital
11. Lab Engineer (SPS-10) No. of Positions: 05
1st Division BSc Engineering in the relevant field with 02 years professional experience of lab.

2nd Division FSC with 03 years diploma in Associate Engineering having 03 years post diploma
professional experience in relevant field

14. Assistant Supervisor–Accounts (SPS-06) No. of Position -01
1st Division Bachelor Degree in commerce or finance with 02 years relevant experience in
Government or Semi Government organization with at least 06 months computer Diploma from
recognized government institute
15. Assistant Supervisor–Store (SPS-06) No. of Position -01
1st Division Bachelor Degree in commerce or finance with 02 years relevant experience in
Government or Semi Government organization with at least 06 months computer Diploma from
recognized government institute

Maximum Age Limit 45 years 35 years 40 years 45 years 50 years
1st Division Marks equal to 60% for annual system or 3/4 CGPA in case of grading
system shall be considered as 1st Division

2. Selected candidates shall be governed by the Statutes and Regulations of the Institute

4. The candidates serving in Government or Semi Government organization shall apply through proper
channel however advance copy of applications from all such candidates shall be accepted for official
process.
5. A person who is dismissed from service or convicted through any Court of Law is not eligible to apply
for above said positions.
6. Only degrees obtained from HEC recognized university/Institutions shall be accepted
7. The Applicants having foreign degrees/ certificates will provide equivalency certificate from
HEC/IBCC.

with a Bank Draft/Pay Order of Rs.1,000/- (for SPS-11 to 14) & Rs.500/- (for SPS-06 to 10) in favor of
the Rector of PAF-IAST, Haripur. (FTN-9050161-4)
9. Last date for receipt of applications along with attested copies of all supporting documents in the
Institute is 20-4-2021.
10. Incomplete applications and applications received after the due date shall not be accepted.
11. Gratuity shall be admissible as per rule.
12. No TA/DA will be paid to the applicants during the entire selection process.

14. The Institute may proceed for legal action if any document or information is found fake/bogus.
15. A person intends to apply for more than one position shall apply separately for each position
16. Any error or omission shall be subject to rectification by the Institute

or all positions without assigning any reason.
