The vScan utility avoidance tool has been designed to make buried u�lity detec�on simple and cost-effec�ve yet intelligent to
gather informa�on for analysis. Bluetooth and GPS send data logs to the cloud where it can be mapped using our VMMap Web Portal.
The user configurable vScan contains 33kHz and 131kHz ac�ve locate frequencies, Power and Radio passive locate modes, a 33kHz Sonde
mode, and an op�onal Metal Cover Loca�on mode to locate buried covers, manhole lids, and valve boxes. Visual and mechanical vibra�on
alerts are user configurable to provide warnings for shallow depth, overload, overhead cables, or excessive swinging.
You don’t need to be an electronics expert to get the most out of the vScan‘s features. Main features and opera�onal controls are in
keeping with industry standards, so minimal training is required.
