“Cat” bag

Crochet pattern
The required materials:
1. Yarn
- Alize Cotton Gold (55% cotton/45% acrylic, 100gr/330m), beige (161) color
- YarnArt Jeans (55% cotton/45%acrylic 50gr/160m), blue (76), pink (42), black (53)
and white (01) colors
2. 2 mm crochet hook
3. Stuffing material, fiberfill
4. Scissors
5. Tapestry needle

Terms and abbreviations (US):


Ch - chain
Sc – single crochet
Dc – double crochet
Inc – increase (work two sc in one stitch)
Dec – decrease (work two sc together)
St – stitch
Sl st – slip stitch
Hdc – half double crochet

Size: The finished product using the materials described in this pattern is ~5,9 inches /
15 cm tall, and ~5,5 inches / 14 cm length.
Start working the basic part of the bag. Work around.
Blue color
Chain 35, and start working into the 2nd st from hook
1 round: hdc inc, 32 hdc, 4 hdc into one stitch, 32 hdc, hdc inc (72)
2 round: 2 hdc inc, 32 hdc, 4 hdc inc, 32 hdc, 2 hdc inc (80)
3-13 rounds (11 rounds): 80 hdc (80)
14 round: 80 hdc through back loops only
15-20 rounds (6 rounds): 80 hdc (80)
Beige color
21-31 rounds (11 rounds): 80 hdc + work 19 hdc, to shift a stitch marker to the side
of the bag. Fasten off, and cut yarn.
Arms
Beige color

Fold the top of the arm flat, and work 6 sc through both loops together.
Cut yarn leaving along tail for sewing.

3-9 rounds (7 rounds): (12)

Fold the top of the leg flat, and work 6 sc through both loops together.
Cut yarn leaving along tail for sewing.
Ears
Beige color

1 round: 6 sc into magic ring

3 round: (2 sc, inc) х3 (12)

4 round: (5 sc, inc) х2 (14)

5 round: (6 sc, inc) х2 (16)

Fold the top of the ear flat, and work 11 sc through both loops together.
Cut yarn leaving along tail for sewing.
Muzzle
White color

1 round: 6 sc into magic ring

2 round: 6 inc (12)

3 round: (1 sc, inc) х6 (18)

4 round: (2 sc, inc) х6 (24)

5 round: (24)

Cut yarn leaving along tail for sewing.

Nose
Blue color

1 round: 6 sc into magic ring

Cut yarn leaving along tail for sewing.


Sew the nose to the muzzle.

Eyes
Black color

1 round: 6 sc into magic ring

2 round: 6 inc (12)

Cut yarn leaving along tail for sewing.


Make a few stitches on the pupil with white thread.

Skirt
Pink color

Work through front loops of the 14th row.

1 round: 3 ch, dc inc, (1 dc, dc inc) х39, sl st (120)

2-6 rounds (5 rounds): 3 ch, 119 dc, sl st (120)

Fasten off, and cut yarn.


Handle of the bag
Blue color

Chain 273, and start working into the 2nd st from hook
1 round: hdc inc, 270 hdc, 4 hdc into one stitch, 270 hdc, hdc inc (548)
Pink color
2 round: 2 sc inc, 270 sc, 4 sc inc, 270 sc, 2 sc inc (556)
Fasten off, and cut yarn.
Assembly
Sew the muzzle (stuff slightly), eyes and ears to the bag.

Sew the arms, and legs of the bag.


Sew the handle of the bag.
