1. Do you work or are you a student?
- "I’m a second-year student at the University of Industry and Trade in Ho Chi Minh City,
majoring in Economic Law./ I enjoy my courses as they help me grow academically and
practically. I also participate in student activities, which let me meet new people and
improve my skills."
2. Have you ever applied for a job?
- Yes i have, I've applied for jobs in coffee shops last summer./ I wanted to earn extra
money and gain work experience, which helped me improve my communication skills.
3. If you are a student, what job would you like to do?
- If I were a student, I would like to work part-time at a coffee shop. This job would allow
me to manage my time easily, which is important because I could balance it with my
studies.
4. If you are already working, what job do you do? - When I go to work, I want to be a
salesperson in the company. Because when I sell, I will help customers solve their
personal needs, and at the same time can bring revenue to the business.
5. What would your ideal job be?
- Although I’m studying Economic Law, my ideal jpb is to open clothing store because
I’m passionate [ˈpæʃ.ən.ət] about fashion./ This would allow me to use my business
[ˈbɪz.nɪs] law knowledge [ˈnɑː.lɪdʒ] and express my creativity while managing my own
business
6. Would you move to another country to do your job?
- Yes, of course! If there is a chance, I will move to work in a certain country, not only to
experience something new, but also to explore cultures and improve my skills
7. Are there many job opportunities for young people in your country?
- Yes, there are many job opportunities for young people in my country. If they have the
right skills and a good attitude , they can easily find work in different fields [fiːld]/

- Sure, that is not. Even if the salary is high, I don’t think I could do a job I don’t enjoy,
because I would feel like a machine just working for money. I believe that doing
something I’m passionate [ˈpæʃ.ən.ət] about is more important in the long run.
9. Would you do a very badly-paid job if you loved it?
- Yes, I would. Even though the salary is low, I think doing something I love is more
meaningful. If I’m still young, I can manage with a side job and fewer expenses

- I like both. Working with others brings new ideas, while working alone help me focus. I
choose based on the task

- No, I haven’t traveled to another country yet because I can’t afford it/, but in the
future, I really hope to visit countries like Japan or korea

Tôi đã đi Đà Lạt với bạn của tôi trong kỳ nghỉ gần nhất. Chúng tôi đi bằng xe buýt và ở lại
đó ba ngày. Tôi chọn Đà Lạt vì tôi thực sự yêu thích không khí mát mẻ và trong lành ở
đó. Chúng tôi đã tham quan và thử các món ăn đặc sản.
- I went to Da Lat with my friends on my last vocation. We traveled by bus and stayed
there for 3 days. I chose Da Lat because I really love its cool and fresh environment/. We
enjoyed sightseeingand trying local food
15. How long have you known your best friend?

- I’ve known my best friend for 7 years, since high school. We met in the same class and
quickly becam close because we share many interests. It’s a beautiful and meaningful

16. What kind of job do you want in the future?

- In the future, I want to open a clothing shop in my hometown because it’s always been
my dream. I love fashion, and I want to provide quality clothes for people. I plan to save
money and learn more about business to prepare for it

What piece of technology do you think you couldn’t live without, and why?
1. What's your favourite gadget?
- my favourite gadget [ˈɡædʒ.ət] is my smartphone. I use it every day at home or
outside to text and call my family and friends. It helps me stay connected
2. What do you think is the most important advance in technology? (Bạn nghĩ bước
tiến quan trọng nhất trong công nghệ là gì?)
👉 Tôi nghĩ là điện thoại thông minh. Nó đã phổ biến trên toàn thế giới, được mọi người
sử dụng và giúp chúng ta liên lạc cũng như tra cứu thông tin dễ dàng.
- I think it’s the smartphone. It became popular worldwide, used by everyone, and
helps us communicate and access into easilly
3. Are there any gadgets that you think are a waste of money or time? (Có thiết bị
nào bạn cho là lãng phí thời gian hoặc tiền bạc không?)
Tôi nghĩ là không. Mỗi thiết bị đều có lợi ích riêng, tùy thuộc vào ai dùng, khi nào và
dùng như thế nào.
- I think none. Every gadget has its own benefit, depending on who uses it, when, and
how
4. In what ways can technology be bad? (Công nghệ có thể gây hại như thế nào?)
👉 Nó gây hại khi bị lạm dụng, như dùng điện thoại quá nhiều ở nhà. Nó ảnh hưởng đến
mắt, đặc biệt là với trẻ em.
- it’s bad when overused, like using phones too much at home. It affects our eyes,
especially young people

5. How often do you get a new mobile phone? (Bạn bao lâu thì đổi điện thoại
một lần?)

👉 Tôi hiếm khi mua điện thoại mới. Tôi chỉ mua khi cái cũ bị hỏng. Tôi
tự chọn để tiết kiệm tiền.

- I rarely [ˈrer.li] buy a new phone. I only buy it when the old one breaks. I choose it
myself to save money

- yes, I have a laptop. I use it daily at home to study and do homework. It’s really

7. Do you ever listen to music on an MP3 player?
- yes, I used to use an MP3 at home to relax after studying. I listened to music by myself
8. What do you think about people downloading music, films and TV series?
- I think it’s useful, people can download and watch anywhere, anytime, even without
internet. It’s very convinient

- I like Alexander Graham Bell. He invented the telephone, which helps
people stay connected around the world
10. What do you think is the most important invention?
- In my opinion, the telephone is the most important. It lets us call, text, and search info
anytime, anywhere

- I love my smartphone. I use it every day at home or outside to text and call my family
and friends. It helps me stay connected

- one problem is phone addiction, especially in kids. They use it too much at home,
which affects their focus and health

1. Have you ever been camping? What was it like?
- I used to go to camp at school. The camp was very meaningful and there were many
memories
2. What's your favourite kind of holiday?
- my favorite holiday is summer because I can go back to my hometown, stay with my
family, and eat my grandma’s food. It helps me relax after a busy school year
3. Do you prefer to visit places with a tour guide or on your own? (Bạn thích đi du lịch có

Tôi thích đi du lịch một mình vì nó linh hoạt hơn. Mùa đông năm ngoái, tôi đã đi Da Lat
một mình và tham quan chợ đêm tự do.
- I prefer going alone because it’s more flexible. Last winter, I went to Da Lat by myself
and visited the night market freely
4. Have you ever been on a cruise (du thuyền)?
- No, I haven’t. I want to try one in Ha Long Bay, but I haven’t had enough time or
money
5. Do you enjoy sightseeing (tham quan) in a new place?
- yes, I like it. For example, in Hue, I visited the Imperial [ɪmˈpɪriəl City with my
family. I took many photos and learned about history

- yes I have because self-service [ˈsɝː.vɪs] thinking makes me more comfortable and
self-suficient [sufÏcient]
7. Is the place you come from a tourist area?
- yes, I’m from BMT City. Although it’s not as famous as coastal [ˈkoʊ.stəl] areas,
tourists visit to see coffee plantations, waterfalls, and try local food like
cơm lam and grilled meat

8. Would you like to work in the tourist industry? (Bạn có muốn làm việc trong ngành du

- No, because I’m not good at speaking with strangers. I helped my uncle [ˈʌŋ.kəl] sell
souvenirs once, and I felt nervous [ˈnɝː.vəs]
9. What do you do first when you travel to a new city/country?
- I always try local food first. In Ha Noi, I ate pho and bun cha with my friend near Hoan
Kiem lake
10. What has been your best vacation?
- my best vacation was in Da Lat with my family last summer. We drank coffee by the
lake and visited the flower garden. I liked it because the weather was cool and we had a
great time together
11. Where would you like to travel to? (Bạn muốn đi đâu du lịch?)
- I want to visit Vung tau again to eat banh khot and swim. I’ll go on a trip with my
friends on the next holiday
12. What is your dream vacation?
- my dream vacation is a trip to Japan during the cherry blossom ˈblɑsəm season,
because I want to see the beautiful pink flowers and visit anime stores, eat sushi with
my family
13. What do you like to do when you are on vacation/visit a new place?
- I like taking photos at famous places. For example, in VT, I enjoy walking on the beach
and watching the sunset./ I often go with my friends, and we take lots of pictures
together
14. What should tourists see or do in your town or city?
- they should Ben Thanh Market, eat street food like banh mi, and walk on Nguyen Hue
street. The best time to come is from December to March because the weather is cooler
15. Are you planning to go anywhere nice on vacation this year?
- yes, I’m planning to travel to Da Nang this summer. Because it’s beautiful, and I really
want to try local food like mi Quang and banh xeo. I’ll be going with my family, and we
plan to stay there for three days
