JOB PURPOSE/OBJECTIVES
To manage and support the workforce by implementing effective recruitment, training, and development
strategies. Ensure compliance with labor laws and foster a positive workplace culture, enhancing employee
engagement and productivity. Addressing employee concerns and facilitating communication between
management and staff.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES
Job Posting & Advertising. Reviewing applications and resumes to shortlist candidates.
Conducting or coordinating interviews, both initial and follow-up, to assess candidates' suitability.
Making hiring decisions, negotiating job offers, and facilitating the onboarding process for new
employees.
Addressing and resolving workplace conflicts between employees or between employees and
management.
Disciplinary Actions, i.e. managing performance issues, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring
compliance with company policies.
Overseeing employee benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
Organizing and implementing training programs for skills development, compliance, and employee
growth.
Creating systems for employee evaluation and feedback, and supporting continuous improvement.
Ensuring the company adheres to labor laws, health and safety regulations, and employment
standards.
Developing and updating company policies to maintain legal and ethical standards.
Promoting programs related to mental health, work-life balance, and wellness initiatives.
Managing and updating HR software or databases.
Preparing reports on HR metrics such as turnover rates, hiring statistics, and employee engagement
levels.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, PHR, CIPD, CIPM etc.,
2-5 years of experience in HR roles, including recruitment, employee relations, training and
development, compensation and benefit, compliance, health and safety, performance management
and general administration.
