1.1 Design brief. (3)

To design and make a model of a lifting/hoisting machine  that will be used to lift
the ancient dog-headed Egyptian water clock  to the first floor. 
1.2 Specifications (at least 3) (3)
 The machine can be of Mechanical , Electrical or Pneumatic/hydraulic systems
 Consists of one of the mechanical elements: levers, linked levers, wheels, cams,
cranks, pulleys  and / or gears
 Consists of one of the mechanical or electrical control device such as a cleat
, ratchet and pawl, or a switch
 Dimensions and size
(Any other relevant specifications)
1.3 Constraints (at least 3) (3)
 Elevator cannot be used to move the water clock 
 Human hands may not carry the water clock 
 Gloved hands may move the clock to a platform for transport 
 Human handling of the artifact should be minimal.
(Any other relevant constraints)
