(iv) In a single slit experiment, how will the angular width of central bright maximum fringe
change if you decrease the slit width? Support your answers with equation. [1]

(a) A step-up down transformer operated on a 2.5 kV line. It supplies a load with 20 A. The ratio
of the primary winding to the secondary is 10 :1. If the transformer is 90% efficient, calculate
i. the power output
ii. the voltage and

decreased the distance between the plates. What changes he will observe in (i) capacitance

the distance between the slits if the fringe width was found to be 1mm. [2]

(a) Differentiate between periodic and oscillatory motion. Give an example for each. [2]

from the cathode when monochromatic light of wavelength 400 nm is incident on the surface.
