Before watching
Task: There is an opinion that robots will replace people in most jobs in the next few years. What do
you think? Have a discussion with your partner for about 1 minute. You can talk about:
 the jobs where this is / isn’t possible
 the activities robots can / can’t do better than people
 the advantages / disadvantages of using robots in some jobs
 when it’s likely to happen
 whether this will affect employment, and why.

While watching
Activity 1
Watch two students discussing whether robots will replace people in most jobs. What answers do they
