“Brigada Eskwela: Sama-sama Para sa Bayang Bumabasa.”

BRIGADA PAGBASA PROGRAM

Program Objectives:
 To promote love for reading among learners through engaging activities.
 To involve parents, barangay officials, alumni, and community volunteers in
literacy development.
 To increase reading comprehension and fluency among struggling readers.
 To support the national goal of building a nation of readers through local
initiatives.

Program Duration:
Date : June 09-13,2025
Time: 8:00 – 11:00 ; 1:00 – 2:00

Target Participants:
 Non-Readers, Struggling and Slow readers (Grades 1 to 6) – 105 PUPILS
 Community and parent volunteers

Activities:
1. Read-A-Story Day
Daily storytelling by parents, teachers, alumni, or local leaders.

2. Bayanihan Reading Tutors

High school students, PTA members, and ALS learners mentor younger children.
One hour reading sessions daily as per schedule by grade
