GUIDELINES ON THE OPENING OF CLASSES FOR SCHOOL


YEAR 2025-2026

1. As per Dep Ed Order No. 12, s. 2025 (Implementing Guidelines on School


Calendar and Activities for the School Year 2025-2026) the opening of
classes for school year 2025-2026 shall be on June 16, 2025 (Monday).

2. In line with this, the following guidelines prior to the opening of classes
shall be adapted to wit:

2.1. Flag Raising/Retreat.

2.1.1. The flag raising ceremony shall be done every Monday at


7:00 am, while flag retreat is every Friday at 4:30 pm
2.1.3. All teachers, learners and non-teaching personnel shall
attend the flag raising ceremony. Teachers and learners
who cannot be accommodated in the open space shall still
the flag raising ceremony in their classrooms.
2.1.4. The Kindergarten Teachers shall lead the flag raising
ceremony for July. A separate school memorandum shall
be issued for the grade assignment in the flag raising
ceremony.

2.2. Health Protocols. Health and sanitation practices shall be


promoted such as but not limited to:
2.1. washing of hands
2.2. optional wearing of face masks
2.3. social distancing

2.4. optional use of hand sanitizer and alcohol
2.5. proper waste disposal and segregation

2.3. Oplan-Balik Eskwela Help Desk. There shall be two (2)


Oplan-Balik Eskwela Help Desks in the school. The first one
shall be placed at the school stage and shall be manned by
Kaisha Ann G. Molina , Administrative Officer II. The second one
shall be located in the School Office which shall be headed by
Delmar G. Reyes, School Head.

2.4. Enrollment Quick Count. The LIS quick count shall be


continuously updated by the school ICT Coordinator. Likewise,
all grade level adviser shall report the daily warm bodies.

2.5. School Clinic. The school clinic shall be opened from 7:30 am
until 4:30 pm. Its operation shall be managed by the school
clinic coordinator, while there is no clinic in the school, the
parents’ lounge (located inside of the Principal’s office) and
admin lobby shall serve as school clinic.

2.6. Adviser’s Time. The first subject of the first day of classes
shall be handled by the class advisers/subject teachers.

2.7. Daily Lesson Log/Exemplar. The daily lesson log (DLL) and
Lesson Exemplar shall be submitted weekly every Friday. The
template shall be found in DepEd Order No. 42, s. 2016 while
Kinder, Grade 1,2,3,4and 5 teachers shall adhere to the
MATATAG Curriculum template.

2.8. Learner’s Uniform. The mandatory wearing of uniform shall


not be imposed, but for safety and economic reasons, all
learners shall be encouraged to wear school uniform. Wearing
of white t-shirt among the learners shall be an option in case of
uniform unavailability. Likewise, Physical Education (PE)
uniform may be worn during PE days.

2.9. Teacher’s Uniform and Grooming. All teachers must wear


the prescribed uniforms. A reprimand letter from the school
head shall be issued to teachers who shall commit first and
second offenses. A reprimand letter from the Division Legal
Officer shall be issued to teachers who shall intently and
consistently violate.
