Exercise 1: Fill in the Gaps

First Conditional (Real or Possible Situations)

If I finish my work early, I will go for a walk.

If we leave now, we will arrive on time.

If they invite me, I will definitely attend the party.

If she studies hard, she will pass the exam.

If you don’t hurry, you will miss the train.

Correct: If I were you, I would talk to my boss about the problem. (No need to specify
"tomorrow" in a hypothetical situation.)

Incorrect: If we don't leave soon, we would be late.

Correct: If we don't leave soon, we will be late.

Incorrect: If I had a million dollars, I will travel around the world.

Correct: If I had a million dollars, I would travel around the world.

Incorrect: If she calls me, I would answer the phone immediately.
