INT. COURTROOM HALLWAY - DAY

0
** The hallway is cold and silent, filled with distant murmurs
from the courtroom. A young boy, AKSHAM (7), sits on the
floor, his tiny hands clutching a worn-out teddy bear. Tears
streak his cheeks as he sobs uncontrollably, his heart
shattered.

A muffled voice echoes from inside the courtroom.**

JUDGE (O.S.)

Yeh adalat Mrs. Verma aur Mr. Verma ke talak ki arzi manzoor
karti hai. Mr. Verma ke pichle mukadmon aur kahani ko dekhte
hue, Akasham ki sari custody Mrs. Verma ko di jaati hai. Court
is dismissed.

**Aksham's sobbing turns into gut-wrenching cries. The hallway

feels colder, suffocating, as the sounds of footsteps fade
away, leaving Aksham alone. He tightens his grip on the teddy
bear, eyes wide with fear and confusion. The reality of being
abandoned pierces through him.**

CUT TO:

INT. APARTMENT - NIGHT

**The room is dimly lit. Mrs. Verma stands near the balcony,
staring blankly into the void. Her hands tremble as she runs
them through her hair, her mind consumed by fear, anxiety, and
helplessness.

Aksham, clutching his teddy bear, peeks from behind the door.
His mother’s despair is palpable. She walks towards the
balcony with trembling steps.

With a sudden, impulsive motion, she steps onto the balcony

railing and lets herself fall.**

AKSHAM

Ma... Ma... Mummy... Mummy...!

**The teddy bear slips from Aksham’s hands, hitting the floor
with a soft thud.**

CUT TO:

INT. DARK, MESSY APARTMENT - NIGHT

**Aksham (now 27) lies on a worn-out couch, surrounded by
empty scattered pills. His eyes are bloodshot, and his face is
pale, showing the toll of years of addiction. The old, dusty
teddy bear sits on the floor, untouched.

Suddenly, Aksham jolts upright, gasping for air, drenched in

sweat. He stumbles to the bathroom, splashing water on his
face. He looks at himself in the cracked mirror, eyes full of
anger and pain.**

AKSHAM

(whispering)

You did this... You couldn’t save her... You’re still that
scared, useless kid.

**He punches the mirror, shattering it, his hand bleeding.

Breathing heavily, he leans against the sink, tears mixing
with the blood.**

AKSHAM (yelling)

Why didn’t you save her? Why did you let her die?

**The camera focuses on the pills/drugs as the main character,

Aksham, shouts and screams at his elder brother, Kabir. They
end up in a very heated argument that Aksham almost loses his
control and approaches his brother to hit him and the scene
cuts.**

INT.DAY,ROOM-

**Aksham blankly staring at his computer screen, as soon the
sounds get to him, his client is shouting at him, Aksham nods
his head and agrees to his client unfazed, after the call he
gets an immense migraine, from there, whips out his low dosage
pills, but that doesn't help so he then asks his female doctor
friend for help.**

CLIENT

(aggressive)

Bhai it’s been a month already since ive gave u the raw
videos, bhai event pass a rha hai

Aksham

De rha houn bro ive not been well

Bs give me some more time

Client

(relaxed)

I understand ur conditions bro but unfortunately mujhe dusra

editor khojna padega I’m sorry but I don’t have any other
options

AKSHAM

(dazed)

Bro trust me I’m fine now just a week more and sare videos
edit kr ke bhej dunga I really need this money rn pls

INT.EVENING,ROOM-

**The camera moves towards Aksham slowly from the

behind,showcasing that he is baffled by his client and he is
having a really strong migraine.

to avoid it, he asks his doctor friend on chat, where she

advises him to get some painkillers.

he goes to the shop and gets the painkillers, as he starts

consuming the painkillers.

he gets addicted to the painkillers, from there, we see a

timelapse of him falling into the addiction of the
painkillers.**

AKSHAM

(troubled)

Oye sun-na

(neutral)

Ha bolo kya hua

AKSHAM

(troubled)

Ye sar dard band nahi ho hai, tumne pichli baar bhi jo

medicines prescribe ki thi wo kaam nahi ki, kya karu mai

KHUSHI

(neutral)

I see, pichli baar ki medicines ka dosage lagta hai tumahre

liye kam tha, isiliye I guess wo kaam nhi ki, koi baat nahi,
is baar tum apni paas ki chemist ki shop se high dosages ki
painkillers le aao, and jab tak tumhara migraine khatam nahi
hota tum use khao.

AKSHAM
(CALM)

DURATION-2 MINUTES
INT.AFTERNOON,ROOM-

**As we saw how Aksham has fallen into the addiction of those
painkillers, now he is fighting with himself because of the
painkillers, we see Aksham in a dark room where Aksham is
staring himself in the mirror as the track “united in grief”
is playing, realising that what he has become now. From there
he goes and sits on his working desk and we see how troubled
he is, as he fights his temptations & he stares at his
painkiller avoiding the urge to consume it, he just blankly
stares at it and as the track “united in grief” cuts off and
we see his brother, Kabir, standing behind him, he puts his
hands on Aksham’s shoulders and asks him to not take those
pills.**

(calm)

(troubled & sighs)

Wahi kosish kar rha hu, tum yaha kya kar rhe ho!

Kabir

(relaxed & chuckles)

**Aksham chuckles**

(calm)

Chize nahi tum badal gye ho, ek samay hua krta tha jab tum ek
decent insaan ki tarah jite the, ab halat dekh lo apni

Aksham
(defensive)

Keh to tum aise rhe ho jaise mujhe aise hi jeena tha, choice
nahi hai ye meri, majboori hai

Kabir
(concerned)

Lo, fir ek jhooth, ye tumhari choice hi hai ki tum kaise apni

jindagi jeena chahte ho, majboori ka bahana mar ke bas chizo
ko chupana aata hai aur kuch nahi.

(annoyed)

Yaar tumko kya problem hai mujhse?, jab dekho tab bas meri
Kamiya nikal ke ladte rehte ho, chahte kya ho mujhse tum?

Kabir
(concerned)

Tumhari Kamiya nahi tumhari nakarepan ko point out krta hu,

tumhari hi problems ko suljhane ke liye pareshan rehta hu aur
tum keh rhe ho ki mujhe tumse problem hai?

Aksham
(sarcastic)

Haan haan mere saviour, tum hi to ho jiske wajah se mai aaj

Kabir
(concerned)

Aur nahi to kya, tumhare jaise na jaane kitne hi nashedi pade

rehte hai idhar udhar, bheekh mangkr nasha krte hai aur bas
maut ka intezaar krte hai

** Aksham stays silent**

(sarcastic)

You know aksham, If you had tried just a little more harder,
aaj teri ye aadat choot gyi hoti, lekin tereme itna guda kaha

Aksham

(annoyed)

Bas, hamare soft boy ko reality check do to unki phat jati,

janta hai teri problem drugs hai hi nahi, tu khud hi ko face
nahi kr pata hai aur apne usi nashe ke bubble me jeeta hai to
tu kya hi ukhadega jindagi me, waise bhi tune aadhi jindagi to
gawa hi di hai, bachi kuchi ko bhi kyu hi achi banani hai, reh
apne us so called comfort zone me

Aksham

(annoyed and angry)

BDSK baat to tu aise kar rha hai jaise tune kuch bahut bada
ukhad lia, aur kyu kr rha hai tu meri itni chinta? Waise bhi
tere hisaab se kuch dino ki aur hai bas meri jindagi, mar jane
de na fir chain se, dekhne se to lag hi rha hai ki mera jinda
rehna hi teri life ki sabse badi problem hai.. Kyu kar rha hai
fir tu itni chinta, Hmm?

(emotional)

Bhale meri baate tujhe chubhti ho aur tereko lagta ho ki mai

ek bahut hi ghatiya bhai hu lekin MAI TERI CARE KRTA HU.

Ek samay hua krta tha ki teri decent si jindagi dekh kar mujhe
acha lagta tha, ab wo itne bure tarike se turnover hogyi hai
ki mai handle nahi kr pa rha hu chizo ko, tujhko is halat me

CONTINUE TO:-

**From here Aksham goes into a paranoia where we see how

Aksham's life was before all this addiction, we see a montage
of him teleporting from one place to another showcasing the
life of Aksham before he was addicted to any of his drugs.

Then when he comes to his senses he looks behind where he

can’t find his brother as his brother has left for home, from
there he also leaves for home.

when he enters his home he overhears his brother playing games

in his room, he ignores it and goes into the living room and
sits down with his legs on the sofa, his drugs are in front of
him and he is again fighting his temptations for the drugs, he
tries his best to avoid it but yet, he fails again and as soon
as he picks up the drugs, his elder brother, Kabir, enters the
room and catches him in the act, Kabir bursts out in anger and
starts to argue with Aksham violently.**

KABIR
(ANGRY, ANNOYED)

looser nikla bhai tu to,

kuch nhi ho skta tera, lele ek aur baar,ek sath hi sb kyu nhi
kha leta

AKSHAM
(PASSIVE AGGRESSION,ANNOYED)

Mujhe nhi fark pad rha bhai genuinely, this ain't gona help

For God sak-

CUT TO:

**Aksham loses his control and picks up the hammer placed

beside his table and hits kabir right into the face, kabir
falls on the ground, Aksham gets on top of kabir and starts to

spam the hammer right into his face (MK SHOT). From there he
gets up and comes towards the camera where blood is splattered
all over his face, his phone rings but he is still in shock as
he just killed kabir and froze for a min, just before the
phone ring is about to end, he picks up the call and
acknowledges that its khushi, his friend, she called him as
she is concerned about him and his health, she starts to
question him about his health but Aksham cuts her and tells
her that he just killed his brother, khushi is confused as
Aksham never had a elder brother, she even asks him about his
so called brother and Aksham again tells her that he just
killed him, Khushi tells him that he has no brother, Aksham
drops his phone and looks behind, where his brother, Kabir is
not there where he was just killed, showcasing that Aksham
actually never had a elder brother and he just hallucinated
all the scenarios. Him killing kabir was a metaphor of Aksham
killing his own will to live as kabir signified the will to
live.**

The camera moves out and cuts:

The credits roll.
