Climate Consultant
Climate Consultant is a simple to use, graphic-based computer program that helps architects, builders, contractor, homeowners, and students understand their
local climate. The purpose is not simply to plot climate data, but rather to organize and represent this information in easy-to-understand ways that show the subtle
attributes of climate, and its impact on built form. The goal is to help users create more energy efficient, more sustainable buildings, each of which is uniquely
suited to its particular spot on this planet.

CASE STUDY
Green Building Analysis aims to assess and improve the sustainability performance of buildings throughout their entire lifecycle,
from design to demolition. It involves evaluating a building's environmental impact, resource efficiency, and contribution to occupant
well-being. The goal is to minimize negative impacts and maximize positive impacts on both the environment and human occupants.
Inference:
Energy modeling revealed opportunities to reduce consumption through passive design strategies, efficient HVAC systems, and
renewable energy integration. Water-saving fixtures and rainwater harvesting were recommended to minimize water use. The use
of locally sourced, low-VOC, and recycled materials was encouraged to reduce the building’s embodied carbon and enhance indoor
air quality. Site analysis supported sustainable land use practices, including preserving green cover and optimizing building
orientation. Overall, the analysis guided the project toward a more sustainable, resource-efficient, and environmentally responsible
design.

INTRODUCTION
GREEN BUILDING
A Green building is one which uses less water, optimizes energy efficiency,
conserves natural resources, generates less waste and provides healthier
space for occupants as compared to conventional buildings.
It is the practice of creative structures and process that are environment friendly
and resource-efficient throughout the life span of a building right from site
selection to design, construction, operation, maintenance, renovation and
deconstruction.
Green Buildings are designed to reduce a overall impact on human health and the natural environment by following ways:
Using energy, water and other resources efficiently and reducing waste, pollution, environmental degradation.
The aim of the green building design is to reduce resources, maximize the reuse, recycling and utilization of
renewable resources.
It maximizes the use of efficient building material and construction practices, optimizes the use of onsite resources and
use of renewable sources of energy, ensure waste management practices and provide comfortable and hygienic indoor
working conditions.
🏢 CERTIFICATIONS FOR GREEN BUILDINGS

RETROFIT ANALYSIS
The objective of this exercise is to analyze the monthly electricity consumption and billing pattern of a household over the past year. It aims to identify the
primary energy-consuming appliances and areas where energy efficiency can be improved. Based on this analysis, the study proposes suitable retrofit
solutions such as LED lighting, inverter air conditioners, and rooftop solar panels. It further calculates the installation costs, expected monthly savings,
and payback periods for each solution. Ultimately, the goal is to promote sustainable energy practices, reduce electricity bills, and lower the household’s
environmental impact.
