Steps to generate 1st series

 Select b1 and enter the value 2 and enter

 Select c1 key and enter the value 5 and enter

 Select b1:c1 and drag the fill handle up to the value 14


Steps to generate 2nd series

 Type mon in the cell a2 and enter

 Select a2 and drag fill handle upto h2


Steps to generate 3rd series

 Type the quarter 1 in the cell b4 and enter

 Select b4 and drag fill handle till F4


Steps to generate 4th series

 Type ref1 in cell a5 and enter

 Select a5 and drag fill handle till E5


Steps to generate 5th series

 Type 11:18 am in cell a7 and enter

 Type 12:18 pm in cell b7 and enter

 Select a7:b7 cell and drag fill handle upto G7.


Steps to generate list

 First go to file option and select options

 Go to advanced option and go to genral column and select edit general list

 Make your new list and add to it for e.g class i , class ii

 Now go to your workbook page and click on any cell

 Enter class i as added in list and drag fill handle upto class iv

Steps to calculate simple interest
a. Create the sheet as per question
b. Type the formula B2*C2*3/100 in cell D2 (P*N*R/100)
c. Press enter
d. Select the cell in the range D2 and drag fill handle till D6
e. Change the number format with two decimal places.
f. Select the number format as currency
g. To select Rupees sign

3. Select D2 and drag the fill handle till D16.

(C)Steps to calculate Total pay.


1. Select E1 and type Total Pay.
2.Select E2 and type the formula =B2+C2+D2 and enter.
3. Select E2 and drag the fill handle till E16.

8. Drag the salary to value field
9. Again drag the salary to value field then click on the value field setting
option
