1. M/s Ashoka Agencies, Kanpur dispatched the following goods to M/s kanaujia
Bros, Faizabad.

a. 10 cartons Ganga Soap (each carton containing 120 soaps) at the rate of Rs. 70
per dozen.

b. 7 cartons Parachute Coconut oil (each carton containing 252 phials of 200 ml.
each) at the rate of Rs. 80 per dozen phials.

c. 32 tins of Dalda vegetable oil (each tin of 5 kg) at the rate of Rs. 35 per kg.

d. 12 cartons of Lifebuoy Soap (each carton of 10 dozen cakes) at the rate of Rs. 65
per dozen.

The customer is allowed trade discount at 7 ½ %. The expenses packing


expenditure at Rs. 12 per carton (only Rs. 2 per tin on vegetable oil), Cartage- Rs.
80, Railway freight- Rs. 320 and Insurance-Rs. 120.

From above particulars, prepare an Invoice in proper form.

2. M/s Chiranji Lal Dharam Pal, Dataganj, Badayun sold the following goods to
M/s Virendra Pal raj Kumar, Pilibhit:

a. 500 metre terrycot cloth foe shirting @ 34 per metre.

b. 250 metre terrycot cloth for pant

c. 100 carpets, size 20x15 metres @ 15 per sq. metre

d. 50 dozen towels @ 10 per towel

e. 80 wollen shawls @ 150 per shawl

f. 200 bedsheets @ 70 per pair

g. 300 pillow covers @ 10 per pair


The seller incurred the following expenses: Railway freight Rs. 200, Cartage Rs.
80, Packing Expenses Rs. 150, Insurance Rs. 80, Miscellaneous Expenses Rs. 50.

Buyers are allowed 12.5% trade discount and 5% cash discount if payment is made
within 30 days. Prepare an invoice in proper form.

3. From the following information given below prepare an Invoice:

Seller- M/s Arun & Atul Brothers 208, Generalganj, Kanpur.

1. 50 sarees Mysore Silk @ Rs. 310 per saree

2. 100 Sarees Jagdish Print @ Rs. 60 per saree

3. 25 Than Vimal suiting each than contains 30 metres @ Rs. 150 per metre each

4. 30 Than Gwalior suiting each Than contains 30 metres @ Rs. 90 per metre each

5. 80 Carpets size 6 feet x 4 feet @ Rs. 30 per sq. feet

M/s Arun and Atul Brothers incurred following expenses in connection with the
consignment of goods:
Railway Freight Rs. 500, Cartage Rs. 100, Packing Rs. 850, Insurance Rs. 45o and
Miscellaneous expenses Rs. 350.

M/s Arun and Atul Brothers allow 5% trade discount on the goods sold. Besides,
they also allow 5% cash discount on the condition if the purchaser makes the
payment within a month. But they are entitled to charge interest @ Rs. 12 per
annum on the proceeds if the payment is made after three months.

4. Sharma Brothers, Kirti nagar, Bareilly sold him following goods to Messrs
Khem Chand Suresh Chand, Chandausi:

a. 576 Micro spark plugs @ Rs. 1500 per gross

b. 180 dozens clutch levers @ Rs. 5 each

c. 150 Headlight bulbs @ Rs. 144 per dozen

d. 500 Leg Guards total weight 36 quintals @ Rs. 300 per quintal

Buyer gets 18% trade discount and 2% cash discount if payment is made
