UDAN (Ude Desh Ka Aam Naagrik)
• RCS-UDAN - Regional Connectivity Scheme –UdeDeshkaAamNaagrikunder
the National Civil Aviation Policy 2016 was launched on October 21, 2016.

• Objective: The objective of the UDAN Scheme is to connect small and


medium cities with big cities through air service.

• Target: To enable One Crore passengers to travel by air every year.

• UDAN 4.0 : Special focus on North-Eastern Regions, Hilly States, and Islands.

• Krishi Udan: It was launched by the Ministry of Civil Aviation in August 2020,
on international and national routes to assist farmers in transporting
agricultural products so that it improves their value realisation.
