ATTENDANCE – CLASS RULES (20%)
➢ Check attendance every class with different ways: sign/call your name/ask questions

➢ Punctuality! Should be on time! Don’t be late

➢ Absence: send email to your lecture – Don’t send the message through Zalo or Teams

➢ Students must attend at least 7 classes to receive a score for class participation

➢ Change your mobile to silent mode – Not allow talking mobile in class during studying time

➢ Participation in class: answer the questions → get plus marks

➢ Good outfit
SELF-LEARNING EXERCISES (20%)

➢ Maximum 5 students per group

➢ Submit directly in class

➢ Complete exercises are given at each class.

➢ Each student must complete at least 4 self-


exercises during the course. If more than 4 are
submitted, the 4 highest scoring exercises will be
counted.

➢ Final score = average of 4 selected self-exercises


GROUP PRESENTATION
➢ Group size: 3 - 5 students/group

➢ Total score = average of the following 3 components:


▪ Presentation slides (created using PowerPoint,
Canva, etc.)
▪ Individual presentation (each student must present
their part individually)
▪ The report (this counts as a group assignment
score)
➢ Slides must be submitted to the lecturer’s email
at least three days before the presentation date

➢ Any member who does not present will receive a score of 0 for this part
➢ Duration: 20-30 minutes/group
MID-TERM TEST
➢ Individual test

➢ Length of test: 45-60 minutes

➢ Contents: from Chapter 1 to Chapter 6

➢ Test type: ESSAY (Closed-book exam)

➢ Date & Time: should be announced later


EXTRA MARK (MAXIMUM 1 POINT)
➢ This mark is based on your active participation in
class (answering questions)

➢ It will be added to your mid-term test score

➢ Participation is recorded per class, not by the


number of questions you answer

➢ Lecturers will track your participation at the end


of each class
FINAL TEST
➢ Contents: all 9 chapters

➢ Group Assignment

➢ Each group consists of 3-5 students

➢ Assignment topic and submission deadline will


be announced in the final class
