Source of Abnormality
Kontaminasi debu (Si, Al) cukup tinggi, kemungkinan berasal dari lingkungan. Ausan logam Fe, Cu dan PQ index sangat tinggi, kemungkinan berasal dari Timing Gear,
Cam Shaft, Cam follower, Rocker Arm, cross head, FCD Piston atau ductile cast iron, gear oil pump, cylinder liner.Oil Cooler leaching, Camshaft bushing, Bushing
turbocharger, thrust metalAluminum piston, turbocharger thrust bearing. Pelumas telah diganti.
Action to be Taken
Cek kondisi engine blow-by pressure, jika melebihi limit (keluar exhaust gas di oil filler pipe dan engine dipstick), maka bisa dipastikan telah terjadi keausan yang tinggi
di cylinder liner dan atau piston). Lakukan compression pressure test per cylinder jika data-data di atas diragukan (engine dengan carcoal canister wajib melakukan
compression pressure test per cylinder). Pastikan pengecekan di bawah tetap dilakukan sebagai bagian dari defining root causes agar tidak terjadi lagi case kerusakan
engine yang sama. Cek air cleaner element. Cek kondisi air cleaner element seal dan clamp/wing nut. Cek hose elbow, piping dan clamp hose dari air cleaner housing
menuju blower side turbocharger, tidak kendor atau crack. Untuk kondisi lingkungan yang sangat berdebu maka interval cleaning air cleaner element tidak bisa
berdasarkan jam kerja (hours meter) tetapi harus menggunakan indikator air cleaner clogging. Perhatikan kebersihan sampling. Resampling 125 jam berikutnya untuk
monitoring.
