Chihuahua Essay
Chihuahua are my favorite animal in this world. Chihuahuas are incredibly unique in so many ways.
No other dog can compare to a Chihuahua. There are multiple reasons why Chihuahuas are the
perfect pet. Chihuahuas are very small, have outstanding personalities in their lives, and an
extraordinary history. The man and the dogcome together. In the first place, dogs have a connection
with people on the hunting trail, although, dogs could have helped people for many years. Man s
best friend has provided safety, friendship, and hunting benefits from the day of the early human
resolution, in which dogs and humans became excellent friends. The history and origin of the
Chihuahua is a debate fuelled by much speculation and theory. It is... Show more content on

Not to mention, they were used for plenty of jobs by people, like herding livestock, pulling carts, to
catch varmints, scaring away animals, and hunting predators. Because of these thing, chihuahuas are
more than just a beautiful pet to play with. Chihuahuas have outstanding personality s. They are
very respectful, if you treat them nicely, then Chihuahuas won t bite or bark at you. Accordingly,
you need to be responsible and earn the Chihuahua s respect by taking care of them, petting them in
a friendly manner, giving them food and water every day, giving them a bath so they won t sink,
picking up their poop, brushing their teeth so that could have fresh breath, and giving medicine to
the Chihuahuas when they get sick, like throwing up or a fever. In addition, their bed, must also be
clean and fluffy so the Chihuahuas can sleep peacefully at night and that s how to get the
Chihuahuas respect. Chihuahuas are very playful and get entertained easily, and by just playing with
them, they won t get bored. Simply going to the park to play frisbee, throwing a ball or a stick so
the Chihuahuas could play catch with their mouth, and makes them more than overjoyed.
Chihuahuas are entertaining, they make adorable faces that will always make you laugh and smile,
they are always doing strange things, which are truly amazing to witness It s impossible not to be
entertained by them with the way they act. Then just barking at you
A Literary Analysis Of Alice Walker sThe Color Purple )
Pretty Colors
(A Literary Analysis on Alice Walker s, The Color Purple) Alice Walker was a writer who
influenced many people in her time, and continues to influence a copious amount of people still
today considering she is still living! Her writing explores multidimensional kinships among women
and embraces the redemptive power of social and political revolution. (Whitted) Her works range
from short poems to long novels that have been read by thousands. In each, she presents several
messages. In the novel, The Color Purple, Walker is able to portray three main messages.
The first message in Purple talks about the importance of family. As an adult, Celie s family was
separated from her, and she was the receiver of the aggressive touch of a man throughout her
entire married life. Celie didn t have a family for quite some time in the literal sense, however she
found family with those around her. Those that she became friends with were the ones that
became her home. They took care of her and made sure that she wouldn t make decisions that she
would regret for the rest of her life. When Celie was in a bad situation, Shug was able to get her
out of it, and lead Celie to a place where she could be happy. In the end, Celie s family is all
reunited with her and everything turns out for the best! Believe in good things to come. (Holland)
The main message, however, is that family may not be the people that are related to you through
blood or marriage, but family just might be in the people that take care of you no matter what.
The second message in Walker s story is about courage. While living in an abusive relationship,
Celie depended on her courage to carry her through the trial that was living with her husband.
Nothing the Celie did was ever enough for her husband, and he let her know that by hurting her in
many different ways. While many did not perceive Celie as being courageous, others around her
found her courage as inspiring. People sought to become like her. Celie is given the chance to truly
show her courage, though, when her friend Shug gives her a way out, taking her to a new state. She
is able to leave her abusive husband behind, and start a new life. She becomes successful and shows
those around her
Medieval Period – Feudal System and Architecture
When people think about the medieval period, they tend to think about the knights in shining armor,
crusades, castles, and kings; however, there was more to the medieval period than just this. There are
also the buildings that housed these great nobles and the men who influenced their design. The
designs for these buildings did no simply materialize out of thin air. These ideas evolved from
concepts derived from various cultures. The interaction between the feudal system and the
architecture of the medieval times influenced the evolution of the later designs.
The early architecture of England starts off with the Carolingian family, who dominated most of
Western Europe politics. They tried to emulate the Roman architecture and also ... Show more

Most large windows are arched while the majority of smaller windows are square with a brace to
help bare the weight of the building. The doorways are also arched unless the door is set in a
hallway that is an arch like shape then the door will be of an ordinary design (Harvey 96). This
style of architecture was not made to stand in war. When the time of the Crusades began England
was unprepared to defend itself. William I, otherwise known as William the Conqueror, led a group
of invaders into England and removed Edward the Confessor from his throne. William implemented
a new type of social structure called feudalism.
Three main things characterize the feudal system after the fall of the Carolingian Empire. First,
there was no defined governmental system present. So the power of rule fell into local
landowners. Second, power was treated as the ruler s possession; the power and right to rule was
a private matter that would be uncontestable by the public. This power could be used as an item of
trade, so to speak, or even a gift. Finally, and perhaps the most dominant characteristic, was the
affinity between a ruling lord and his vassals which, for all intents and purposes, was chiefly
military based. William I, or William the Conqueror, brought about this system and he was both the
ruler of England and the Duke of Normandy. Unfortunately, it is impossible for him to be at two
places at once, so it proved a problem for
How Is The American Dream Shown In The Great Gatsby
The American Dream, Exposed!
Is the American Dream achievable? That wasn t the case for Jay Gatsby in the book The Great
Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. In this American story many people are skeptical whether the
American Dream was achieved throughout the characters in the novel. It all starts in a city with our
narrator Nick Caraway, who lives in small house next to the prestige majesty mansion that is owned
by Jay Gatsby himself. Nick goes to visit his cousin Daisy Buchanan how is married to Tom
Buchanan. The couple lives in the beautiful east egg, in a mansion of the same calibre of the one
that Gatsby owns. He greets Nick and takes him to speak to his high class cousin, Daisy. It was there
where he first laid eyes on Jordan Backer, a professional
Sexual Addiction Among Christians And Sexual Abuse
The world is full of men and women addicted to sex in some way, either through pornography,
masturbation, adultery, rape, and even child molesters. A person is constantly being bombarded with
sexual content. It is nearly impossible to surf the internet without coming across some kind of
sexually explicit content. Sex is everywhere and it is no longer hard for anyone to get access to
content that no one should be looking at. Healing the wounds of Sexual Addictionis my attempt to
examine and address the issue of sexual addictionamong Christians. We will expose these secret
sins to the light of the gospel and out best psychological understanding (Laaser 2004, 15). The
author, Laaser, has a deep desire to see everyone free from the disease of sexual addictions. It is
also, his strongest belief that people can be set free because he is free from the disease. This book
is all about addressing sexual sins, bringing them into the light, and then finding hope in honesty
and truth. The world is full of sexual problems and Laaser believes that the people with sexual
addictions can be free if a person follows the steps in his book Healing the Wounds of Sexual
Addictions.
Does the Author Approach the Subject with a Biases?
The author does have a very interesting biases. In his past, he was addicted to sex. He was in a
church as a pastor, a counselor, and a devoted member to the church. To the world, he and his
family seemed normal and as if everything was good but in reality he was
Hiring An Intern On The Workplace
Hiring an intern to help catch up on papers in a publishing company affects the company, its
employees, maybe its clients and of course the intern. In this situation, the company makes out the
best. Going off of the information that most publishing companies do not pay their interns, the
business would basically be getting free work. The organization would be getting help equivalent
to a worker and not have to increase their payroll at all. The publisher would be able to gain more
free time to tackle other more important job related tasks. Furthermore, it may help the organization
to succeed and reach new goals because their current workers have more time to dedicate. They can
work on improving their efficiencies or hiring additional... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
With a high number of interns coming in, not getting paid, not getting educational experience, and
quitting, the organization is bound to obtain a bad reputation. In turn, this will make the recruiting
process extremely hard for paid employees, because who wants to work for a company that is not
ethical nor treats its members right? In general, at first, a non paid intern doing the work of a paid
worker seems great for the organization. But in the end it may prove to hurt both the company and
the unpaid intern.
Having a publishing intern who files papers could work out ethical and legally if the internship
program contains a well designed training program. According to the Fair Labor Standard Act, any
unpaid intern must not provide any direct benefits to the company (Noe et al., 228). Unpaid interns
exist in the organization for educational benefits. According to the U.S Small Business
Administration, filing papers and answering emails are considered activities which provide direct
benefits to an organization; therefore they must be paid (Beesly). Knowing this information, in the
case of the publishing intern, s/he must be paid if the company wants them to file papers because
they are providing the company benefits. The U.S. Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division
state s, educational benefits does not exempt them from having to pay the intern (WHD Staff).
SHRM warns companies to distinguish between an employee and an intern (Cleary). The main
difference between

Mr. Orr was out scouting for elk in southwest Montana when the grizzly attacked him. Three miles

same bear attacked him again. TWICE!!! He played dead and didn t move to make the bear stop
and think he was dead. When he knew it was safe he went back to his truck and did a video of his
bloody face, shoulders, and arms. He then drove sixteen miles to the nearest hospital.... Show more

OH-58D Kiowa Warrior Case Study
The United States Army decision to divest the OH 58D Kiowa Warrior was an end to an airframe
that has a long history of service. No other airframe in the United States Army has the reliability,
close air support, and overall operational readiness rate. Many Soldiers lives affected by the
divestiture of this airframe, some have lost their jobs, or forced into different needs of the Army.
The decision to divest the OH 58D is important , leaving this important role to the AH 64D/E
Apache, and unmanned aerial vehicles. The OH 58 has been in service since 1969 as a Light
Observation Helicopter. (Wikipedia January 2017) Many variants include OH 58A, OH 58B, OH

Negative Effects Of Plastic Water Bottles
For as long as I can remember, my family has always purchased plastic water bottles and until
recently, I have taken a new stance on them. As a student at Texas Tech University, one of my spring
classes this past semester opened my eyes to the negative aspects of plastic water bottles. Within the
class, I watched the documentary Tapped by Jason Lindsey and Stephanie Soechtig, which focused
specifically on the bottled waterindustry. Even though plastic water bottles are highly popular in
first and developing countries, recent evidence shows drastic consequences in both environmental
and health related topics.
Today plastic water bottles are putting a strain on the environment and highlighting their wasteful
properties. A study by Brita, a water filtration company, shows that Americans discard 38 billion
plastic water bottles a year, and it takes 1.5 billion barrels of oil to produce them (York 2). The
amount of oil that is being used to produce the plastic of bottled water can be used elsewhere like
gasoline for cars and electricity for homes. Even though the plastic from bottled water is recyclable,
The Container Recycling Institute (CR1) states that eight out of 10 water bottles end up in
landfills and end up being washed into streams and oceans (Knopper 36). CR1 also states that only
14 percent of plastic water bottles purchased annually in the U.S. are recycled (Burbank 23). This
study produced by CR1 proves that people still are not recycling their bottled
