Tarot
Tarot has fascinated people for centuries. To some, it is a mystical oracle, a bridge
between the physical and the spiritual. To others, it is simply a deck of beautifully
illustrated cards or perhaps even a tool used to mislead. But no matter where
someone stands, one thing remains true. People care about tarot. It captures
attention. It sparks curiosity. It invites questions. And for us, as mentalists and
magicians, that is something worth paying attention to.

We are always looking for new ways to engage our audience. We seek out unusual
decks, interesting presentations, and props that feel personal or familiar. Whether we
draw inspiration from movies, folklore, or modern pop culture, we are constantly
searching for objects that already hold meaning for people. And yet, tarot is right
there. People have already told us what they find fascinating. Tarot is one of those
things.

For those who are deeply committed to the traditional use of tarot, the most powerful
thing you can do is give someone a sincere and thoughtful reading. And I absolutely
agree. That kind of experience can be incredibly meaningful. But I also believe that
tarot can do more than that. It can be more than just a tool for divination. It can also
be a doorway into storytelling, imagination, and wonder. Some people feel tarot is too
sacred to be used in performance or theatrical work. And if that is how you feel, I
understand. But I also believe that tarot, like any tool filled with symbolism, can be
used with respect and purpose in a wide variety of ways.
To me, tarot is both a mirror and a lens. It reflects what is already inside us while
offering a new way to see things. It is a tool for self-reflection and also for connection.
Each card carries meaning that stretches back through history, rich with symbols,
myths, and archetypes that continue to resonate with people today. These cards
speak to emotions and experiences that are universal. They are about love and loss,
hope and fear, change and clarity. For us as performers, what more could we ask for?

1
One of the most valuable things tarot offers is a natural path into cold reading. This is
something many performers struggle with, especially when starting out. Traditional
cold reading techniques can feel awkward, disconnected, or overly rehearsed. But
tarot gives us something different. It gives us a structure. Each card offers a theme or a
prompt that you can use as a starting point. Even if you are still building confidence as
a reader, the card is there to support you. It gives you something to lean on.
Something real. That kind of structure can be a gift, especially in live performance.

In this book, I want to share routines and ideas that explore the blend between
mentalism, mental magic, and classic performance. Some effects may lean more
toward theatrical mystery, others toward psychological insight. You may find some of
them are not quite right for you, and that is completely fine. My hope is that you will
find something useful. Something you can adapt or build upon. Something that fits
your voice.

Because whether you believe in tarot as a spiritual tool or see it purely as a

performance piece, there is no denying its power. It holds a unique place in people’s
minds. It feels old. It feels meaningful. And when used with care and thought, it can
create moments your audience will not forget.

Ca r d
Meanings
In my work, I focus solely on the Major Arcana because these are the cards people
recognize. I will go over their meanings, primarily using traditional interpretations with
some of my own insights woven in. While this section will provide a solid foundation, I
strongly encourage you to explore multiple sources if you are not already familiar with
the cards.

0 The Fool represents new beginnings, spontaneity, and embracing the unknown. It is
the card of adventure, urging people to take risks and trust the journey ahead, even
without knowing where it will lead. It symbolizes potential, curiosity, and a willingness
to step outside of comfort zones. People may look at the Fool as naive but the Fool
knows they are prepared.

1 The Magician embodies manifestation, confidence, and personal power. With all
the tools at their disposal, the Magician reminds us that skill, intention, and action can
turn ideas into reality. This card is about taking control and harnessing potential to
create something meaningful. As a magician people can look at what you do as
magic, without seeing all the hard work behind the scenes, people may see you as an
overnight success.

2 The High Priestess is the guardian of intuition, hidden knowledge, and mystery.
She represents the subconscious mind and the unseen forces at work. This card urges
one to trust their instincts and look beyond surface appearances to uncover deeper
truths. The High Priestess is someone people come to for advice but is someone who
will struggle to take their own advice.

3 The Empress signifies abundance, creativity, and nurturing energy. She is the
embodiment of growth and fertility, whether in the form of new ideas, relationships,
or personal development. The Empress encourages embracing life’s pleasures and
the power of creation. The Empress is also someone who feels better in nature and
can rebalance by returning to it.

3
4 The Emperor stands for structure, authority, and leadership. He represents
discipline, order, and the ability to take control of situations with a firm but fair hand.
This card reminds us that stability and a strong foundation are necessary for success.
The Emperor is also fully armed on his throne where he should feel safe and may need
to let his guard down to let people in.

5 The Hierophant represents tradition, spirituality, and structured learning. It

symbolizes wisdom passed down through institutions, mentors, or sacred teachings.
This card suggests seeking guidance from established sources and honoring tradition
while finding personal meaning within it. The Hierophant sits atop a set of keys, the
keys to his success which everyone can see but him. A change in perspective can
change a lot.

6 The Lovers speaks to deep connections, relationships, and choices. It symbolizes

harmony, balance, and sometimes difficult decisions between heart and mind.
Beyond romance, this card highlights the importance of authenticity and aligning with
what truly resonates.

7 The Chariot is the card of determination, willpower, and victory. It represents

overcoming obstacles through discipline and focus. The Chariot reminds us that
success comes from taking control, steering life in the right direction, and not being
swayed by distractions. Like the Fool, the Chariot is beginning a journey but seems a
lot more prepared having learned from previous lessons.

8 Strength is about inner courage, patience, and emotional control. Unlike brute
force, this card symbolizes quiet resilience, the ability to tame fears, and mastering
oneself through kindness rather than aggression. It encourages trusting in one’s inner
power and know that it is infinite.

9 The Hermit signifies introspection, solitude, and seeking wisdom. It represents a

journey inward, where deep self-discovery happens away from external distractions.
This card suggests taking time for reflection and looking within for guidance. The
hermit will also be a light to guide others who may go through the same.

4
10 The Wheel of Fortune represents cycles, change, and destiny. Life is constantly
shifting, sometimes bringing fortune and sometimes challenges. This card is a
reminder to embrace the flow of life, recognizing that every phase is temporary and
part of a greater pattern.

11 Justice is the card of truth, fairness, and accountability. It reminds us that every
action has consequences and that honesty and integrity lead to clarity. Justice
encourages making decisions based on logic, ethics, and a balanced perspective. The
scales of justice can also be influenced so it is important to take action to get the
justice we seek.

12 The Hanged Man symbolizes surrender, patience, and a shift in perspective.

Sometimes progress requires letting go of control and seeing things from a different
angle. This card encourages acceptance and looking beyond conventional viewpoints.

13 Death is a card of transformation, endings, and new beginnings. Despite its

ominous name, Death represents necessary change, letting go of what no longer
serves to make way for growth. It is about renewal and embracing new phases of life.

14 Temperance embodies balance, moderation, and blending opposites. It suggests

patience and the ability to find harmony in seemingly conflicting forces. This card
encourages steady progress, self-restraint, and maintaining equilibrium in all areas of
life.

15 The Devil represents temptation, attachment, and illusions. It warns against

unhealthy habits, toxic relationships, or self-imposed limitations. This card
encourages breaking free from what holds us back and recognizing where we might
be giving away our power. It shows that we are not trapped by anything but ourselves
and can make the change whenever we want.

16 The Tower signifies sudden upheaval, revelation, and destruction that leads to
rebuilding. While it can represent chaos and unexpected change, it ultimately clears
the way for something stronger and more authentic. The Tower teaches that
sometimes breakdowns are necessary for breakthroughs.

5
17 The Star is a card of hope, inspiration, and renewal. It signifies healing, optimism,
and a sense of purpose. The Star encourages trust in the universe and reminds us that
even after difficult times, light and clarity will return.

18 The Moon represents intuition, uncertainty, and hidden truths. It suggests that not
everything is as it seems and that fears or illusions might cloud judgment. This card
encourages looking deeper and trusting instincts when the path ahead feels unclear.

19 The Sun radiates joy, success, and positivity. It signifies clarity, confidence, and a
time of abundance. This card reminds us to embrace happiness, express ourselves
freely, and celebrate life’s bright moments.

20 Judgment is about reflection, awakening, and stepping into one’s true purpose. It
represents personal transformation and the ability to learn from the past. This card
suggests a moment of reckoning, where decisions shape the next chapter.

21 The World symbolizes completion, fulfillment, and wholeness. It marks the

successful conclusion of a journey, bringing a sense of achievement and closure. This
card represents integration, wisdom gained, and readiness for a new cycle to begin. It
is about having the intelligence, freedom, stubbornness and strength to achieve your
goal.

Reading
Effect:

The performer introduces a tarot deck and is then joined by 3 participants on stage.
Each participant selects a tarot card and ensures only they know what it is.

Performer: Typically tarot cards are used to learn about the person, however it is said
that you don’t choose the card, the card chooses you. With that I am going to try and
understand each of you as a person to work out which card the tarot would have
given you.

The performer spends a short time looking at each of the participants before giving an
accurate reading to each participant and correctly naming their card.

Method:

I started with this effect as it is so simple. I am even sure many of you have thought of
this before yourself. The reason I decided to teach this first is to give the idea of what
using tarot in mentalism can be in its “purest” form and you only need to know 3 cards
to do it.

The method here as many of you will know is a force, well 3 forces. I personally use the
riffle force for this but have also used a slip force when using smaller tarot cards. If you
are not familiar with any of these forces there are many resources online to learn these
for free. I am sure you will easily find them on YouTube. It is important to force each
card individually as it must be seen that they each made a decision leading to their
card.

The real method here though is not the force, it is the cards you force. These can be

7
different for you but I recommend picking 3 cards you like and know well. I use the
High Priestess, the Wheel of Fortune and Strength, in that order. These cards have
strong meanings but are also things you can talk about in a reading without saying
anything anyone can say no to. For example if you picked the Fool and talked about
them starting a new journey, they might not see that in their life currently.

For the High Priestess, the reading I give for this is something like this:

When I look at you I see someone who people rely on, someone people turn to for
advice. I actually think you give good advice, which makes it weirder that you never
seem to take your own. For some reason you think your advice is good enough for other
people and it is, but not for yourself. When I think of all of this the only card you could
have been given is the High Priestess correct?

I place out my hand at this stage for them to hand me the High Priestess and I show it
to the audience. We are using the classic mentalism technique here to get
confirmation on something we know is true, the card, to confirm everything else we
said is true. But, read what I say again, that applies to a lot of people. We all struggle to
follow the advice we give to others. I know if I did, this book would have been finished
months ago!

You will also notice I also refer to their selection as the card they were given as the
idea is that the tarot gave it to them. (Even though we actually just gave it to them with
a force!)

I will now go through what I say for the other 2 cards.

You I see right in the middle of it. There is more excitement to come for you. You know
life isn’t a straight line but full of ups and downs. There is a lot for you to learn to
complete this journey you are on, to get the right balance of ingredients to achieve
everything you want to in life, and I am sure you will, thats why you must have been
given the Wheel of Fortune.

8
You surprise a lot of people. I think a lot of people don’t see the real you, the you only a
handle of full people get to see. I think if everyone else here knew the things you been
through they would be surprised. You just have this energy in you that I can feel,
honestly it nearly blew me away so you must have been given Strength!

It is important to note that I described this as a stage effect but it also works very well
close-up and it can be done anywhere from 1 person to as many as you want.

Destinytrix
Effect:
Ma
An image of a victim of a witch trial, Judith Witchell, is shown and the performer talks
about how she was declared a witch for her use of the tarot and explains how stories
like this one inspired the performer to learn more about tarot. The performer offers to
give the participant a reading and lays out cards in a Destiny Matrix spread created by
Judith Witchell. The participant selects a card for the past, eliminating others, and is
given a reading on the card.

A card for their present is selected which again eliminates others. After a reading
based on present the performer explains that the last selection will be their future but
it will reveal a final card with represents an obstacle they can't avoid and must
overcome. After this selection, elimination and reading the final obstacle card is
revealed and read to the participant.

After all 4 cards have been read the performer asks the participant if they believe their
choices for their own? The performer then mentions how each of the major arcana are
numbered and the four selected tarot cards are totalled and their number is 34. The
performer turns over the image to show written on the back: Judith Witchell, died by
hanging, aged 34.

Method:

This is a tarot version of the classic 34 forcing matrix. For this you need an image of a
witch trial victim which you can easily find on google or via ChatGPT. See a sample at
the end of The Witch Of 1665. Once you have that you can print it out yourself or get it
printed onto polaroid style photo paper. I have used Photobox in Ireland for this.

Once you have an image, write the details on the back, or have someone else write it if
you want different handwriting.

10
As we are using tarot cards for this forcing matrix, I didn’t want it to be 1-4 on the first
row etc as at the end the cards will be in ascending order. The great thing about the 34
forcing matrix is that it can be used reversed and out of order. My grid is:

16 Tower 15 Devil 14 Temperance 13 Death

4 Emperor 3 Empress 2 High Priestess 1 Magician

10 Wheel of
12 Hanged Man 11 Justice 9 Hermit
Fortune

8 Strength 7 Chariot 6 Lovers 5 Hierophant

The forcing matrix works by eliminating the rest of the row and column after a
selection is made. For example, if the participant selects the Empress, the Devil,
Justice, Chariot, Emperor, High Priestess and Magician are all eliminated. By following
this process 3 times there will then be one card left to be their obstacle.

Start with the 16 cards on top of the deck with the Tower on top and Hierophant 16th.
Introduce the image and talk about the witch being accused for reading tarot.

Perform a riffle force to create the illusion the spectator chose a random spot to deal
from and then deal the cards face down into the 4 x 4 grid. Being face down hides the
pattern in the cards but also creates a blind card choice for the participant.

Now just follow the forcing matrix procedure and give a reading based on each card.
By doing this it shouldn’t even feel like a trick as you are giving a reading to your
participant and ensure you take your time with this.

Finally, once you have the 4 cards, talk about how they are numbered, add them up
and go into the reveal.

This is quite a dark version of the classic 34 force using the age of a witch trial victim
but you can use any prediction you want for this. You could say you are going to guess
their destiny number and write down 34 on a business card before the reading.

Witch 16 65
Of
Effect:

A deck of tarot cards is introduced. The performer invites a participant to cut the deck
and marks the cut.

An image is shown of a woman named Judith Witchell, a victim of a witch trial. The
performer explains that she was condemned as a witch for using tarot cards. Stories
like hers inspired the performer to explore the tarot and its symbolism.

The performer offers to give three participants a reading. Each person is given three
tarot cards and asked to mix them face down so the order is unknown. The performer
begins with the past, asks each participant to select one of their cards to represent it
and gives them a reading. The process continues for the present and future, with each
participant choosing from their remaining cards.

As the readings end, the performer points out that if the participants had chosen
different cards, their readings would have been completely different. The performer
then draws attention to the numbers on the cards and notes that each row forms a
three-digit number. When these three numbers are added together, the total is 1665.

Finally, the performer brings the focus back to Judith Witchell. The image is turned
over or revealed to show that she was hung as a witch in the year 1665.

Method:

This is the classic 1665 force, re-imagined using tarot cards. It has always been a
favorite of mine, and one day, while looking at the numbers on the tarot cards, it all
came together. The method is simple, elegant, and completely self-working as long as
the setup is followed.

12
Each group of three cards adds up to 15. When you assign a group to each participant
and line up their selections correctly, the final total reveals itself as 1665. The force
works through columns, and here is the exact breakdown:

Three sets of cards:

861
Strength (8), The Lovers (6), The Magician (1)

942
The Hermit (9), The Emperor (4), The High Priestess (2)

375
The Empress (3), The Chariot (7), The Hierophant (5)

Note that in some tarot decks, Strength and Justice are swapped between numbers 8
and 11. If your deck places Justice at 8, make sure to adjust accordingly so the math still
works.

To begin, stack these nine cards on top of the deck. The order within each set of three
does not matter, and the order of the groups also does not matter. What matters is
that all nine are on top. At this point you can perform a false shuffle or false cut, as
long as the top nine cards remain in place.

When the performance begins, hand the deck to a participant and ask them to cut it.
Use the criss cross force by placing the remainder of the deck across the cut portion at
an angle. This creates the illusion of a free choice. Now you shift focus.

Introduce the image of Judith Witchell and share her story. This part of the routine is
not just emotional context, it also serves as time misdirection to cover the
discrepancy caused by the criss cross force. Let the moment breathe and draw the
audience into the atmosphere.

After the story, return to the cards. Remove the angled packet and deal the top nine
cards into three groups of three. Each participant receives one group.

13
At this point the method is essentially complete.

Ask each participant to select one of their cards to represent their past. Then repeat
this for the present and the future. It is important that the participants place their
cards in a vertical line so each person has their own column. The cards must not be
mixed between participants.

Once the readings are finished, draw attention to the numbers on the cards. Add up
each column. Each will total 15. From there:

Rightmost column: 3 plus 7 plus 5 equals 15. Carry the 1.

Middle column: 9 plus 4 plus 2 equals 15 plus 1 equals 16. Carry the 1.

Leftmost column: 8 plus 6 plus 1 equals 15 plus 1 equals 16.

The final total is 1665.

Now return to the story. Bring the attention back to Judith Witchell. Ask the audience
to look again at her image. Turn it over and reveal what has been there the entire time.
She was hanged as a witch in 1665. The same number they unknowingly created
through the cards.

Card
Effect:

The performer asks the participant if they know their Infinity Card in the tarot. When
the participant says they do not, the performer explains that while tarot readings can
change over time and reflect different meanings, the Infinity Card is the one card that
remains true for that person throughout their life.

The performer shares that there is a ritual to discover this card and that there is also a
way to test whether it is truly theirs. The Infinity Card is found through a mix of
unconscious and conscious choices made by the participant.

The participant shuffles a tarot deck and selects any eight cards without looking at
them. These eight cards are then mixed again as the performer explains that the
number eight, shaped like the infinity symbol, will help guide them.

The participant is asked to look at the eight cards and choose the one that speaks to
them most. This becomes their Infinity Card.

Without revealing the card, the participant mixes it back into the other seven. The
performer explains that a test will now take place to see if it is truly the right card.
The performer will ask the participant to do 3 tasks. One about their past, one about
their present, and one about their future.

For each task, the participant splits the cards into two face down piles of four and
notes which pile contains their Infinity Card. If the card is in the left pile, they will be
asked to tell the performer something. If the card is in the right pile, they picture what
they are asked in their head, as the performer explains the left side of the brain is
linked to speech while the right is associated with nonverbal thought and memory.

After each question the cards are mixed again and the process is repeated. Following
the final question, the cards are mixed once more and gathered into a single pile.

15
The performer explains that through this process a deeper understanding has been
formed, and if the Infinity Card was truly found, it should now be clear.

The performer slowly reveals each card one by one, watching the participant closely,
until they stop on a single card. It is the participant’s Infinity Card. The participant then
gives a reading based on this card.

Method:
The core method behind this routine is Erie Cards by Kent Arthur. I first came across it
through Michael O’Brien in his Progressive Oil and Water routine. I loved how open
and fair the process felt and immediately saw the potential for adapting it into a tarot
presentation.

In performance, begin by introducing the idea of the Infinity Card as described earlier.
Have the participant shuffle the tarot deck as much as they like. Then ask them to
select any eight cards. The selection truly does not matter. I prefer that they choose
the eight cards without looking at them so there is an unconscious element to that
decision. From there, the conscious choice comes when they look through those
cards and choose the one that stands out to them.

Encourage them to take their time in selecting a card that speaks to them. Be sure you
do not see the card they choose. Once they have made their selection, have them
shuffle all eight cards again. This is the point where the Erie Cards method begins.

Ask the participant to divide the eight cards into two equal piles of four. Essentially
they are just cutting the packet in half. Have them look through both piles and
remember which pile contains their Infinity Card.

Now comes the key move. Instruct them to mix the two piles back together by taking
one card at a time from each pile, alternating between the two, but always starting
with the pile that contains their Infinity Card. This is very important.

16
Once the cards are mixed together, ask them to repeat the process. They split the
packet into two piles of four again, identify which one contains their card, and then
mix the piles back together one card at a time, starting again withhe pile that has their
card.

Have them do this process a third and final time. Split the cards, locate the pile with
the card, and mix again starting from that pile.

At the end of this final mixing, they combine all the cards back into a single pile and at
this point, their selected card will be the sixth card from the top.

I could not tell you why this works. I only know that it does.

Now we return to the presentation, which gives meaning to the procedure. Since the
mixing process is repeated three times, I found that connecting it to the past, present,
and future works beautifully. It also reinforces the idea that the Infinity Card holds
significance in all three phases of a person’s life.

What you ask the participant to do during each phase is important. It adds depth and
makes the process more personal and engaging.

Past
If their card is in the left pile: Ask them to tell you about a happy memory from their
past.
If their card is in the right pile: Ask them to silently replay a happy memory from their
past in their mind.

Present
If their card is in the left pile: Ask them to tell you about someone currently in their life
that they love.
If their card is in the right pile: Ask them to think about someone they love who is
currently in their life.

17
Future
If their card is in the left pile: Ask them to describe a place they would like to visit in
the future and why.
If their card is in the right pile: Ask them to silently imagine a place they have never
been but would love to go someday.

These are just examples. Feel free to create your own prompts and tailor them to the
participant based on what feels right in the moment.

Now for the reveal. After the three phases, their Infinity Card will be the sixth card from
the top. I like to pick up the pile and do a false cut onto the table, but this is optional.
Slowly begin turning over the cards one by one, watching the participant as you do.
When you reach the sixth card, pause, smile, and let them know that this is the card
they chose. Tell them it is their Infinity Card because it reflects them perfectly.

You can then give a short reading based on that card to close the experience.

Re
My Tarot
Effect:

The participant opens the website www.readmytarot.com on their phone and enters
their date of birth to receive a personalised tarot reading. Three tarot cards appear on
the screen to represent their past, present, and future.

The performer gives a reading based on the three cards, engaging the participant with
interpretations and insight. Despite never seeing or asking for their birth date, the
performer is able to correctly reveal the participant’s zodiac sign, and eventually, even
their exact date of birth.

Method:

ReadMyTarot.com is a great EDC tool because it requires nothing physical. You do not
need to bring anything with you. Everything is done using the participant’s phone.

The core method revolves around the card shown in the future position. This card is
secretly used to determine the participant’s zodiac sign.

During performance, ask the participant to go to the website and follow the
instructions. They will be prompted to enter their date of birth, but it is best not to say
“enter your date of birth”. This allows you to keep that detail hidden from others who
might be watching. Once the cards have loaded, the participant can show you their
phone and you can begin giving a reading using the three cards on the screen.

At this point, the performance appears completely clean. You can describe the
symbolism of the cards in the past and present positions. Once you know which card
appears in the future spot, you know the participant’s zodiac sign.

19
The meanings of these tarot cards can be linked to the traits of their corresponding
zodiac signs, although that is not how I personally remember them. Instead, I use
visual cues and symbolism found in the Rider Waite design to help me recall which
card matches each sign. If you find it difficult to remember these associations, I
recommend exploring the connections between the cards and the zodiac signs in
more detail.

There is a hidden crib on the website in case you ever forget the meanings of the
cards. To access it, tap on the Terms and Conditions link at the bottom of the screen.
This will bring up the information you need. Tapping anywhere on the screen will
close it.

In addition to the zodiac reveal, the site includes a subtle way to identify the
participant’s date of birth. This is hidden in the label at the bottom of the screen that
says how many readings have been given.

After the cards appear, this number changes and encodes the participant’s date of
birth. For example, if the label reads 12,487,582 Readings Given, the final digit tells you
the month. In this case, 2 means February. The middle three digits end with the day, in
this case 7. If the day or month is a single digit, it will be preceded by an 8. For
example, a birthday on April 5th would appear as 12,485,584. The final digit is the
month, April, and the 5 reveals the fifth day.

For a date of birth like December 21st, you would see 12,421,512. The final 2 gives you
the month, December. The 2 before the 1 in the central group indicates the
twenty-first day.

This detail allows you to reveal not only their zodiac sign but also their exact date of
birth.

One of my favourite ways to use this tool is during pre-show. Gathering the
information before the actual performance allows for a stronger reveal later on. It
adds distance between the input and the moment of revelation, which enhances the
effect.

Tarot
Effect:

The participant goes to www.readmytarot.com/daily on their phone and is asked to

think of a number between one and ten. The performer studies the participant and
begins to speak about how they are reminded of a specific tarot card. The performer
then writes down a prediction and sets it aside.

For the first time, the participant says the number out loud. They then cycle through
the tarot cards on the site until they reach that number. The card revealed is the High
Priestess.

The participant opens the performer’s written prediction. It is the High Priestess. A
perfect match.

Method:

This is a simple force site that is disguised as a daily tarot reading site, and there are
multiple ways to perform the force.

When you visit the website, you will see that it loads one large image of a tarot card
with a New Card button at the bottom. On the first visit to the site on a device, the
seventh press of the New Card button will always reveal the High Priestess. This
makes things very clean if the participant names the number seven, as you never
need to touch the phone at all.

If the participant chooses any number other than seven, you will need to cycle
through the cards yourself. This is done by tapping a specific area on the first tarot
card image. The card is actually divided into a hidden grid made up of nine sections.
Each section corresponds to a number from one to nine.

See the grid below for reference.

The first press on the card tells the site when the force card will appear. It is a good
idea to continue pressing in the same area each time so your actions remain
consistent and do not draw attention.

If you want to perform this on your own phone, you can customize both the force card
and the number of New Card button presses needed for it to appear. To do this, tap on
the Terms and Conditions button. A pop-up will appear with two input fields. One is
for the card and the other is for the position. Both require a number. Enter the number
of the Major Arcana card you want to force and the number of presses you want
before that card appears. Once you tap save, your settings will be stored locally on
your device.

Conclusion
1 really hope you found something useful in this book. Tarot is something I genuinely
love performing with and using as a tool for giving readings. I do not believe we
should leave it only to so-called psychics. This is an amazing tool and we can use it to
bring wonder, mystery, and genuine connection to the people we perform for.

If you have any questions about any of the routines, feel free to reach out. I would be
more than happy to help.

All the best,

David Peace
