PART 'A' - ENGLISH: Maximum Marks: 200, Total 50 Questions

The question paper in English will be designed to test the candidate's understanding of English and workman
like use of words The syllabus covers various aspects like: Grammar and usage, vocabulary, comprehension and
cohesion in extended text to test the candidate's proficiency in English.

PART 'B' GENERAL KNOWLEDGE: Maximum Marks: 400, Total 100 Questions
Section 'A' (Physics), Section 'B' (Chemistry), Section 'C' (General Science.), Section 'D': (History, Freedom Movement etc.),
Section 'E' (Geography.), Section 'F' (Current Events.)

SSB INTERVIEW (Maximum Marks: 900)

DEFENCE OFFICERS ENTRANCE EXAMINATION FOR 10 + 2 LEVEL

1) Exam Schedules :- By UPSC twice in a year. That is known as NDA-I & NDA-II

NDA-II-Notification Advt. Date June/July
Age Limit 16% to 19% Years on the date of joining NDA.
Candidates are to be selected on the performance of written exam (900) + SSB Interview (900).
Candidates can opt for Army, Navy, Air Force, Naval Academy at the time of filling of the forms.

2 ) TES:- (Technical Entry Scheme -Army):-

Qualification: Min. 70% marks in PCM in 10+2. Call-up letters will be issued for the SSB Interview.
There is no written test for this entry.
Age Limit: 16% to 19% years.
Already applied/attempted JEE Main Exam.

3) Naval Academy:-
Naval Technical Entry: (10+2)
Qualification: 10+2 passed with at least 70% aggregate marks in PCM + remaining subjects.
There is no written test for this entry. Age Limit: 16% to 19% years.
