A Brief Note On X Ray Vision Goggles
Abstract
MRI s today are the solution to X Rays by having radio waves go back and forth transmitting
signals that allow Doctors to see inside the human body. There are not many downsides of MRI
s, however MRI s do not fit in the average waiting room by being circular tube like machines that
take about 1 hour to produce a clear image of a patient s problem. MRI s are great when it comes
to mental disabilities but when it comes to broken bones, it is too time consuming to wait in the
machine for an hour to find out about a torn ligament or broken bone in a patient s body. A new
vision will take away the harmless effects of an MRI but also have it for every day needs in a doctor
s office. X Ray Vision goggles would allow a doctor to see a patient s broken bone or ligaments
without effects of X rays. Present Technology
Wilhelm Rontgen, a German physicist, had multiple experiments in 1895 he and found a type of
radiation which he labelled as the letter X, because he did not know what it was. His X rays were
soon discovered by Doctors which primarily used them to look inside the human body. One original
component that has not changed since has been how they are developed and made.
X Ray s are used to generate pictures that show the inside of the human body such as finding
broken bones. In Otto Zhou of the University of North Carolina, Dr Zhou and his colleagues are
bringing X radiography into the world of modern electronics. In doing so, there is a hope to create

How Did The Roman Empire Change Over Time
Throughout the history of the Roman Empire, people of all parts of the society saw many changes.
A few of the changes that they experienced were the changes in how the different emperors ruled,
the dividing of the empire, economic stability and growth, and the expansion of the empire. One of
the greatest changes that the people saw was the change in religion. Due to changes with the empire
s most dominant and profound religion, there was much controversy over the course of many years.
Once the people of the Roman Empirecame to accept all of the changes that had occurred over the
many years of its existence, the empire came to persevere more than ever. In your following reading,
you will learn how the Romans came to accept and make Christianitythe official religion of the
Roman Empire due to the influences of events and emperors before Constantine the Great came to
power, the influences under the power of Constantine s rule, and the influences of events and
emperors... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Even with the death of Constantine, who was a major role in making Christianity the major religion
of the Roman Empire, Christianity continued to grow quite rapidly but this wouldn t have happened
if it weren t for the help from Emperor Theodosius 1, who ruled over the Roman Empire from 379
CE to 395 CE. Theodosius was the first emperor to decree an official order issued by a legal authority
that all citizens should be Christians. Theodosius outlaws pagan worship throughout the entire
empire, closed the schools and universities, and converted pagan temples into Christian churches. In
him doing so, Theodosius had devoted so much effort to promoting Christianity that he seems to
have neglected his other duties as emperor and was the last emperor to rule both the Eastern and
Western Empires
Racism In The Movie 42
In the movie 42, there were many scenes that demonstrated blatant racism in which derogatory
comments were made toward Jackie Robinson. One of the most uncomfortable as well as
captivating scenes is one that involved a Caucasian man and his son. During one of the games
when Jackie s character entered the field, the father of the young boy was shown calling Jackie a
contemptuous term used for African Americans, which I prefer not to say. The father then went
on ranting, amongst other Dodger fans, that Robinson was not wanted nor welcomed to play in
Cincinnati where the game was being hosted. The son, after observing the responses of everyone
else followed suit by repeating everything that he heard his father say. In order to explain this
event, the concept of social learning is of great importance. As discussed in class, around ages 4 5
explicit awareness for black and white racial groups are developed in children. The social learning
theory suggest that individuals learn by simply observing the actions of others. There are three
important sources of learning, parents, peers, and the media; all can influence how one person may
interact or address another.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Children aren t born knowing the differences between black and whites or any racial groups and
gender differences as well. They are born innocent and empty of any knowledge about what s
happening in the world. However, as they grow up they develop their own identity as well as what
is and isn t acceptable by observing and learning from those around them. When watching the scene
in the movie you could tell that the young child wasn t comfortable with his father s actions at first.
Though, he seemed to believe it was ok because he watched not only his father, but his peers react in

Magic Merlyn Moment Analysis
Magic Merlyn Moment #1 Rough Draft

The first Magic and Merlyn Moment started out with the Wart bored on a rainy, cold, wet evening.
Everyone was annoyed with him, and they were tired of him moping around, so the Wart decided
to head to the toweroom, where he knew to find his teacher. Merlyn was busy knitting a skull cap
when the Wart expressed his boredom and wanting to become a bird. Merlyn, who was also in a
mood, said that if you were smarter, you would know that birds cannot fly in the rain. Then, the
Wart said he could be a hawk in Hob s mews, which quickly turned into pleading and begging.`He
started asking many questions about birds, like if they can talk. Later on, when the Wart asked he
can begin, Merlyn said now as Hob had ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
After much difficulty, the Wart was turned into a merlin and then warned of Cully. After first when
the Wart entered the mews, everyone was quiet, but he was eventually told to speak. After
receiving the help of Balan(another bird), the Wart said that he is a merlin. Cully then asked
what branch he is from, and the Wart said he is from the Forest Sauvage branch. Balan then
helped again by explaining to cully that the Wart meant a cadet branch. The Wart s next question
was What is a Beast of the Foot? and luckily Wart knew the answer because of his first rate
education. He was then asked two more questions before moving on to the next step, which was to
get sworn in. However, the priest ate the tirings, so they moved on to the ordeal. The Wart was
hesitant towards it, as he had been warned not to go near Cully, but he had to. After the hymn, the
Wart was told to go stand next to Cully, as the others rang a bell thrice. Cully warned the Wart not
to come near him, as it would be too hard for him to not eat the Wart. After the bell rang twice, they
were both impatient and nervous, but the Wart s quick thinking saved his life. The Wart told Colonel
Cully that there was a cat behind him so
The Realm Of Military Power And International Security Essay
Socialization in the realm of military power and international security The fact that states are
socialized through endogenous and exogenous variables is impossible to deny. This socialization,
Finnemore argues, leads states to accept new norms, values and perceptions of interest. These
shifts are frequently felt on a global scale as perceptions of interest alter state relationships and
vice versa. Military interests are merely a reflection of states interests; therefore, these newly
adopted norms and values inevitably seep into the realm of military power and international
security. However, military values prioritize the security of the state first and foremost, therefore,
certain norms and values are either accepted later than the rest of a state s society, or simply
never accepted. An example of this would be women not being allowed to hold front line infantry
positions or certain high level special operations roles in the military. Women not being able to
hold certain positions in part due to a fear that they will interfere with group cohesion , does not
accurately reflect the social norms and values we value so highly as a country; such as gender
equality. International security is also heavily affected by adoptions of new values and norms
seeing as states interact with other states, based on their perceptions of them. These perceptions are
in turn shaped by the shared norms and values of that state s society and how their interests are
perceived. Norms are social
The Social Scientist Phrase, Presentation Of Self, And Self
In this modern day world, people may continuously confuse similarly used words, and often think
they mean the same thing. However, in reality they don t. Nonetheless, the main focus words are
identity, and self. Identity to me is similar to the social scientist phrase presentation of self , and
what that means is how a person wants to present themselves to others. Similar to actors, and singers
that are constructively criticized by their image, so they can better it to wow their fans. In contrast to
self, which is being true to who you are. As seen in When the Emperor was Divine the family
struggle with knowing their self, and identity. The family begins as middle upper class,
materialistic people in California that are nameless with a sense of family unity, and self worth.
Eventually transforming to isolated, exhausted, loss souls having to wear ID numbers on their
collar (p. 24). Starting off with the father, which is a very symbolic character since he is only
spoken about in memories, and letters. Even so far away his family describes him as loving,
caring, and warm hearted. The children would say Our father, the father we remembered, and had
dreamed of, almost nightly, all through the years of the war, was handsome and strong. He moved
quickly, surely, with his head held high in the air. He liked to draw for us. He liked to sing for us.
He liked to laugh (p. 132). All to show that to them he was everything you d wantin a father, but after
the war he turned into a

Difference Between Sequence And Rate Of Development
Assignment Understand Child and Young Person Development Task A Complete tables;
Questions A1 Complete the six tables on the following pages, showing the sequence and rate of
development for children and young people from birth to 19 years. (506 1.1) 1. Physical
development 2. Intellectual and cognitive development 3. Communication development 4. Social,
emotional and behavioural development 5. Moral development 6. Development of Identity A2
Answer the following questions (506 1.2) 1.What is the difference between sequence of
development and rate of development? Sequence is the order in which things take place, looking
at developmental milestones it is expected that by a certain age certain things will take place
although this is not necessarily the same for every child ie: some children may miss out the
crawling stage and go from standing to walking. The rate of development is the speed in which
things take place. The rate of development from birth is rapid due to the brain development, it
slows down and then increases again with further changes taking place in the brain when they hit
the teenage years. The rate of development can vary in each ie: some children may start walking at
the age of 10 months and others 13 months. 2.Why is the difference important? It is important to
know the difference between the sequence and the rate of development in order to identify any
needs during each stage of the child s development and is used as a monitoring tool.
