Gary (Sherman) Snyder was born in San Francisco on May 8 in 1930 to the parents of Harold
Alton and Lois (Wilkie) Snyder. When Gary Snyder was growing up, he lived in west part of the
United States surrounded by nature. While he was living there, the destruction of the Pacific
Northwestern forests began, even at such a young age it still caused him sorrow ( Gary Snyder).
While growing up in such a rural area, where Snyder had a farm with chickens and cows and even
an outhouse as a bathroom; he thought that this was just another way of living. Gary Snyder is okay

Speed Limit Research Paper
In order to reduce fuel consumption as a response to the Mid East Oil Embargo in 1973, the
federal government in the United States passed the National Maximum Speed Limit (NMSL)
Law in 1974, which restricted the maximum permissible vehicle speed limit to 55 mph on all
interstates roads. This dramatic reduction to 55 mph reduces road fatalities by 16.4% between
1973 and 1974 (Partyka, 1991), but it is widely disregarded by motorists. Subsequent research and
legislation suggest the speed limit issue should be revisited and the debate on the effect of speed
limit policy on operating speeds and safety has continued. Consequently, in April of 1987, Congress
passed the Surface Transportation and Uniform Relocation Assistance Act (STURAA), which
permitted states to increase speed limits from 55 to 60 or 65 mph on rural interstates highways. 40
states of the 47 states adopted the increased speed limit within a year; 38 states increased the speed
limit to 65 mph in 1987, with two additional states following suit in 1988.

After that, numerous studies have evaluated the effect of the increased speed limit on changes in
vehicle speeds, suggesting that the increased speed limit causes dramatic increases in fatality rates
on rural interstates ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Maximum Posted Speed Limit by State as of August, 2016 (source: Wikipedia)

Declining oil prices and mounting public pressure with controversy from the research findings, on
November 28, 1995, Congress passed the National Highway Designation Act, which removed all
federal speed limit control and provided states freedom to set interstate speed limits. As a result, US
states have begun to raise their posted speed limits to 70 mph or more. Figure 1 shows current
maximum posted speed limits by States in the United States. While Texas has various maximum
posted speed limits, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming have a maximum
posted speed limit of 80 mph.

Introduction:
Forensic Chemistry involves a variety of different techniques in which have the ability to analyse
samples found on crime scene, one set of techniques is that of chromatography.

Chromatography is a process commonly used to separate substances in accordance to their

differential distribution between what is referred to as a stationary phase and a moving or mobile
phase . There are a variety of different types of chromatography some include; paper chromatography,
gas chromatography and high performance liquid chromatography.

Chromatography works by analyzing a substance in terms of its retention time when passing through
what is referred to as a stationary phase. Retention time refers to the amount of time a substance
takes to pass through the stationary phase, upon analysis the retention time determines what
substances are present within a sample. For example, if a particular substance within takes longer
than another to reach the detector results can then be categorized into which substances are present
within the sample. The results found are presented in what is called a chromatograph.

Roles Of Governor In Federations
Introduction:
A governor (from French gouverneur) is a governing official, usually the executive of a non
sovereign level of government, ranking under the head of state. In federations, a governor may be
the title of each appointed or elected politician who governs a constituent state.
In countries the heads of the constitutive states, provinces, communities and regions may be titled
Governor, although this is less common in parliamentary systems such as in some European nations
and many of their former colonies, which use titles such as President of the Regional Council in
France and Minister President in Germany, where in some states there are governorates (German:
Regierungsbezirke) as sub state administrative regions. Other countries ... Show more content on

One scenario where this could fall into play would be: An attorney is in a rush to submit a
preparation form and delegates the paralegal to sign the form. If the paralegal does so, they will be
committing the unauthorized practice of law because they are not permitted to sign legal forms and
furthermore, if signing the supervising attorney s name, they are committing fraud.
In some states UPL is not only criminalized in itself, but another charge of falsely claiming to be a
lawyer even thought this is not how the paralegal intended the situation to turn out. In the
innocence of trying to help out a friend by sharing their legal know how, they in turn can be
persecuted, lose their jobs or even their careers. Any person of the public can put in their opinion
about a legal situation, or tell a person what they think they should do and it would not be
considered unauthorized practice of law. However, when a person is a paralegal, any spoken or
written opinion about what a person should do in a legal situation can be considered UPL.
Whether it is a friend, family member, or just someone a person knows, the situation stays the
same. It is clear that only an attorney should provide legal counsel, legal representation or sign
legal documents. A paralegal may do ninety percent of the work on a client s case but in the end the
attorney is the only one who can do these things. Polly Paralegal needs
Questions On Deep Learning Technique Essay
1.4.3Deep Learning Technique
Machine Learning at its most basic is the practice of using algorithms to parse data, learn from it,
and then make a determination or prediction about something in the world. So rather than hand
coding software routines with a specific set of instructions to accomplish a particular task, the
machine is trained using large amounts of data and algorithms that give it the ability to learn how to
perform the task [12]. Deep learning is another Machine Learning (ML) algorithm. Deep learning is
essentially a set of techniques that help you to parameterize deep neural network structures, neural
networks with many, many layers and parameters. Deep Learning breaks down tasks in ways that
makes all kinds of machine assists seem possible, even likely. The confusion matrix, in Figure 8
shows that the accuracy of this model is (90.80) with weighted average precision (91.37) greater
than recall (91.11) and F1 score (91.24). From the above results, it appears that Deep Learning
classifier achieve higher accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score. Figure 11: Clustering accuracy

Historical Perspectives On The Colonial Revival In...
Whatever is new, Is bad : Historical Perspectives on the Colonial Revival in Progressive Era America
The Colonial Revival is a phenomenon that materialized as a national expression of American culture
from the 1870s to the 1940s. Though founded on ideological traditions, it most often manifested
itself through decorative arts and architecture. Elements of revival furniture, arts and architecture
symbolically served as tools to promote democracy, patriotism most significantly in this context,
moral superiority, that reflect republican ideals. In many ways it is a direct response to the results of
Industrialization and progress. Historian Alan Axelrod contends, Colonialism is not a surface
phenomenon, a thin veneer over the real body of American life, but a network of communications
and linkages that reach deep into American experience and behavior. Historians examine the
movement from various perspectives; as a social and cultural movement, its representation in U.S.
material culture, and its significance to immigration and nationalism. Noteworthy scholarship
includes everything from Alan Axelrod s The Colonial Revival in America from 1985 to Briann G.
Greenfield s Out of the Attic: Antiques in Twentieth Century New England from 2009. Various
monographs and essays will be analyzed to determine correlations and points of dissent across the
historiography. The Colonial Revival has also been a prevalent area of examination in the museum
community as evidenced by
Analysis Of Lady Lazarus
Within this paper, the art and performance of death, or suicide, will be explored in terms of how
certain elements of the text allow the audience to analyze the intentions and the meaning behind
the poem, Lady Lazarus. The poet, Sylvia Plath, writes about suicide and resurrection in the text
to express her feelings of despair. In a way, she takes the form of Lazarus, a male biblical figure
that is resurrected by Jesus. But, Plath puts her own twist on the character by changing the gender,
which can be seen in the title itself. She does so in order to create a feminist approach.
Additionally, one can assume that the speaker, Lady Lazarus, is Sylvia Plath herself, as the events
of her life, such as her father s deathand her husband leaving her for another woman, seem to
correlate with the emotions that are present within her poem (Sylvia Plath).
Lady Lazarus contains a huge amount of figurative language and literary elements to communicate
that the poem is indeed a look into Plath s life, as it reflects her battle with a mental illness.
Furthermore, the speaker s tone varies across the poem, since suicide can be seen as a powerful
performance, or a piece of art, that allows for cleansing and resurrection from a patriarchal society.
Thus, Plath demonstrates her desire for death as a masterpiece by using diction, the circus metaphor,
and the Holocaust imagery to develop the tone of the poem.
Analysis
The tone of Lady Lazarus is developed through many different poetic
The Rising Costs Of The War
The rising costs of the war, coupled with falling oil prices in 1986, led to the use of non oil
exports to generate revenue because oil income was no longer a guaranteed source of foreign
currency. To finance short term debts, Iran drained its small reserve of foreign currency by
allowing advance drawing on revenues. The FY 1987 budget also reflected the priority of the
war effort. The government again promised to curb inflation, to continue to subsidize basic
foodstuffs, and to make billions available to the import sector, presumably for consumer use. The
Iranian fiscal year begins on March 21 and runs through March 20 of the following calendar year.
The budget, presented to the Majlis by the Planning and Budget Organization, consists of three
sections: ordinary, plan, and defense allocations. Because of conflict between the Revolution s
stated opposition to the massive defense expenditures of the shah and the high cost of the war with
Iraq that began less than one year after the Revolution, by late 1987 there had been no fiscal year in
which defense expenditures were not severely understated for domestic political reasons. As a
result, attempting to set forth actual figures on the money supply, especially as a function of fiscal
policy, was almost pointless. The preamble to the Constitution vests supreme authority in the faqih.
According to Article 5, the faqih is the just and pious jurist who is recognized by the majority of
