A Brief Note On Consumer Electronics Bus ( Cebus )
2.3 ii) CeBus technology
Consumer Electronics Bus (CEBus), a standard proposed by the Electronic Industries Association, is
based on the concept of Local Area Networks (LAN s). CEBus based products consist mainly of a
transceiverwhich implements spread spectrum technology along with a controller to run the
protocol. The given protocol standards are for radio frequency, twisted pair, power line
communication and a number of other networking methods. The CEBus PLDT standard specifies
that a binary digit is represented by how long a frequency burst is applied to the channel i.e, a
binary 1 is represented by a 100 microsecond burst, whilst a binary 0 is represented by a 200
microsecond burst. CEBus transmission rate varies with how many 0 characters, and how many 1
characters are transmitted. The CEBus standard specifies a language of object oriented controls
including commands for volume up/down, temperature up one degree, etc. Due to the high noise
level of power line channels, data should be transmitted via short frames, which is assured by the
use of the spread spectrum technology. CEBus protocol uses a Carrier Sense Multiple Access
/Collision Detection and Resolution (CSMA/CDCR) protocol to avoid data collisions. CEBus is a
commercially owned protocol, and thus attracts registration fees.

Precast Concrete
Every construction material and system has its own characteristics which to a greater or lesser
extend influence the layout, span length, construction depth, stability system, etc. This is also the
case for precast concrete, not only in comparison to steel, wood and masonry structures, but also
with respect to cast in situ concrete. Theoretically, all joints between the precast units could be made
in such a way ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Structural system7:
The system consists of L shaped and T shaped frame units placed on top of each other.Simply
supported floor slabs span between the frames.
The frame units are placed simply supported on the base and on top of each other hinged
connections are made between the frame units as pin joints at the mid span of the beams.
Structural system 8: The system shown is formed by H shaped frames with cantilever beam. Slabs
are simpley supported by spanning them from beam to beam.
The connections between the H shaped frames are formed as pin joints at the mid hieght of the
columns and between the cantilevers beams.
All rigid joints are made as an integrated part of the fram units. Slabs span from frame to fram.
Structural system 9:
The system consists of unspliced four storey high continuous columns with cantilever attachements
for supporting the beams. Floor slabs are simpley supported on the beams.
The columns are restrained at their bases. Beams are simply supported on column attachements.all
rigid joints are made as integrated parts of the columns.

Many important events happened in the 1960 s, such as the Apollo 11 space mission and the Cuban
Missile Crisis. To begin, Apollo 11 was the first manned mission to the moon. Apollo 11 was
launched on July 16, 1969 from the United States in Cape Kennedy, Florida. Astronauts Neil

(MLK) and John F. Kennedy (JFK), who both played significant roles in American history. JFK
was not only the first Catholic president, he was also the youngest, becoming president at only 43
years old. His many accomplishments as president include establishing the Peace Corps, setting a
goal to put a man on the moon, and preventing nuclear armageddon during the Cuban Missile
Crisis. He won many awards during his life, like the Purple Heart, a WWII victory medal, and an
American Defense service medal. According to Liz Gogerly, author of the book The Kennedy
Assassination, President Kennedy was assassinated in November 1963 during his first term by
gunman Lee Harvey
Hiroshima Essay
Final exam
Lets take a trip to a place where we re created. Not a place you would think is right here, in our
yard, right in North America, but a place across the ocean and to an Island. If your thinking
OooooOoooo the Caribbean Islands your wrong but none other than Japan. Yes, this is a Place that
we had re created because of a bomb that was dropped on August 6, 1945. It had caused many of
deaths, devastation, and mutations, and this event was Ironically put in place by a poem written by
Mary Jo Salter called Welcome to Hiroshima.
Irony starts this poem off, because here you are entering Hiroshima, but in English it is written
welcome to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
But the way she puts it sounds normal because she splits here stanzas just right to where it sounds
like there is nothing wrong, especially how the third stanza is put. It Its Ironic in the fact that it
seems that there are breathing safe and just taking water from the Ohta River to put into their tea but
to realize the twist is, the Radiation that had flowed into that water is causing their mutations. She
puts these mutations in such a perfect picture with the ironic American food such as pizza topped
with a cherry and a Pancake sandwich. She also relates the word glass into her poem, and that could
be for we look through glass for window shopping and for the Television. But at that time news
broadcast of the war was prohibited but we would be highly into the tv from here on out. Also she
relates the glass as being in some women s arm and how she will always remember what
happened on that day because of the glass being shoved into her arm because of the blast. Another
very vivid picture is the one of the wrist watch of a child just stuck on Eight fifteen and how time
was just stopped. It didn t even take a second for that to stop it because the impact was that strong
not only on the people in Hiroshima but for a nation.
All these poems, all similar in shape and form with elaborate, proper and elevated words. With
repeated series and memories fused together making visual images of the stunning moments.
diction is used to describe the level of formality that a speaker uses. Refrain is repeated word or
series of words in response or counterpoint to the main verse. Last is Imagery, Images are
references that trigger the mind to fuse together memories of sight. poets use these to express the
meaning of their poems. the emotion and view on the poem all depends on the how the reader
views the poems. Diction helps Readers to describe the level of formality that a speaker uses. An
example would be shown in I Like For You To Be Still ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
it is used to help the reader understand what exactly the poet is talking about or describing the
poems. An example of this is from the poem The Summer Day who made the world? Who made
the swan, and the black bear? Who made the grasshopper? This grasshopper, i mean the one who
has flung herself out of the grass, the one who is eating sugar out of my hand, who is moving her
jaws back and forth instead of up and down. In this the words who made are repeated to make the
reader think more in depth with the poem and what the author is asking. Another example is from
the poem I Like For You To Be Still I like for you to be still it is as though you are absent from far
away. I like for you to be still and you seem far away. It sounds as though you are lamenting a
butterfly cooing like a dove and you hear me from far away. I like for you to be still, it is as
though you are absent distant and full of sorrow. At the beginning of every stanza the author starts
off with I like for you probably to draw the reader s attention to what the author is gonna say
afterward. Also the author is on topic and talking about the same thing every stanza. The Last
example is from the poem Love Sonnet XVII I love you as the plant that never blooms but carries
in itself the light of hidden flowers; thanks to your love a certain solid fragrance, risen from the earth,
