Golden Eagle Research Paper
An avian predator is: An environmentally safe, ecologically sound wildlife control company
certified green. The primary method of control is the use of falcons for bird abatement, which is
safe, non toxic and humane. One of the largest raptor species in the Northern Hemisphere is the
golden eagle. The golden eagle is a top predator, which can prey over a wide range of species, from
small birds, and rodents even to ungulates as large as deer. They examined the impact of the
predationrisk imposed by a large avian predator, the golden eagle, on its potential mammalian
mesopredator prey, the red fox, and the pine marten.
The golden eagle is a very large, dark brown raptor with broad wings, ranging from 66 to 102 cm in
length and from 1.8 to 2.34
Salmonell A Major Cause Of Foodborne Illness Worldwide
Salmonella enterica sub enterica are a major cause of foodborne illness worldwide. Contaminated
food products such as pork, meat, milk, fruits, vegetables, egg and egg products are the common
vehicles of Salmonella infections (Hur et al., 2012). It is estimated that gastric illness caused by
Salmonella spp. accounts for 93.8 million cases and 155,000 deaths worldwide each year (Majowicz
et al., 2010). This statistic clearly indicate that Salmonellainfections are public health and financial
global burden for both industrialised and non industrialised countries. In Australia, majority of
human disease outbreaks of Salmonellosis are associated with consumption of contaminated egg and
egg products (OzFoodNetWorkingGroup, 2012, 2015).
Several intervention strategies have been implemented on a worldwide scale to reduce the risk of
Salmonella contamination and has been discussed in the literature review. However, emergence of
antimicrobial resistance (AMR) strains of Salmonella, egg contamination, biofilm formation and the
decreased susceptibility of Salmonella biofilms to commonly used antimicrobials are the major
obstacles in this journey. In spite of this, it is vital that studies concerning Salmonella must ensure
the effective prevention and control of this zoonotic pathogen. This thesis has investigated different
pathogenicity aspect of Salmonella enterica spp. recovered from egg farm environments of Australia
and the key findings of in vivo and in vitro experiments are
Personal Jurisdiction Of The State Of Florida
The appropriate court for this lawsuit depends upon several factors. Three important considerations
are personal jurisdiction, subject matter jurisdiction, and minimum contracts. Personal jurisdiction
pertains to the laws and facts involved in the lawsuit. Donald Margolin is suing a corporation,
Novelty Now. Corporations are subject to in personam jurisdictionin three locations: the state of
their incorporation, the location of their main offices, and the geographic areas in which they
conduct business. (Kubasek, 2011). For this case, because all parties are in different states, the
claim could be brought in federal court if the claimed damages exceed $75,000. It could also be
brought in state court because it does not involve subject... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Because the defendant, Novelty Now, has taken necessary action to exercise jurisdiction, it would be
unreasonable and a violation of due process. However the state courts could, by asserting a long arm
jurisdiction, have personal jurisdiction in New York. Since Chris, Matt, and Ian did not reside or do
business in New York, Novelty Now is not incorporated in New York, and Funny Face is not
manufactured in New York, they could argue that the State of New York does not have jurisdiction.
However, the court could argue that because Funny Face is advertised by radio, Facebook,
newspapers and internet that they had in fact done business in New York. This is an example of
minimum contacts and would provide New York with authority over the parties and this case.

Alternative dispute resolution (ADR) may be an option to resolve this dispute. ADR is a method in
which options other than litigation are used to resolve a dispute instead of going to trial. The two
most popular methods used are arbitration and mediation. Typically most corporations prefer ADR
as opposed to litigation because it is less time consuming, less expensive, and a resolution can be
agreed upon rather than going before a jury. Corporations also use ADR to protect their assets. Matt,
Chris and Ian, owners of Funny Face, claim on their website that they can not be taken to court.
Because Novelty Now owns the original compound found in
Research Paper On Volleyball
Volleyball Training
The Search
Everybody wants to get better at the things they do, either it s their grades in school or how they
play a sport, they want to grow and get better at it. Since I play Junior Olympics Volleyball for
Minnetonka, I really wanted to know what I could to do to get better. I already knew that you should
be in other sports to help you stay in shape throughout the year. I also knew that eating healthy was
very important. And that you should train at home and get as much extra court time as you can.

Since I will be at the high school next year if you want to play volleyball and get into one of the
better teams you have to be really good. One of the many things I wondered about in volleyball
was how can I get better? How much extra practice should I be doing? These questions just brought
up more. Like what can I do in and out of the volleyball season to step up my game? Another
question I had is what are all the things that can help me that is not related to volleyball? And many
more questions that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Most of my research I found by searching volleyball, stronger, diet, health. The referee training
website I used for volleyball has a lot of articles that have good information. That was probably the
best website I used, that had a lot of information.

All of this information I found on volleyball diets, exercises, and tips are very helpful. All of it is
very important and I can see myself getting better knowing this information. The information I
found will be very useful and I already plan on drinking that much water for my next game. And
the other food tips were very good as well and I will make sure to think about that for the food I
eat before a game. I will also work on my overhand serve knowing those tips. And overall, I think I
found everything I needed and all my questions answered that will help me improve and get better at
The Legacy Of Magna Carta
In the face of modern terror, the Magna Carta is irrelevant
One of the greatest legacies of Magna Carta is that no one is above the law. In forcing King John
to sign the document, the barons wanted to limit his arbitrary rule. Clause 39 states that No
freemen shall be taken or imprisoned or disseised [dispossessed] or exiled or in any way destroyed,
nor will we go upon him nor send upon him, except by the lawful judgment of his peers or by the
law of the land. To no one will we sell, to no one will we refuse or delay, right or justice. (Carpenter,
2 January 2015).
This clause established the idea of the rule of law, due process, right to a fair trial, and trial by jury.
All personal liberties enjoyed in democracies are legacies of the Magna Carta. The power of
government has been limited as no one is above the law including the government. If government
officials wanted to seize a property of an ordinary citizen, or carry out a search, a court warrant
would be required. This requirement is important because if the government acted without regard to
the law, the lives of ordinary people would be in peril. Corrupt government officials would routinely
detain people on the slightest suspicion and even seize their property for no justifiable reason. The
fear of falling victim to the government or the monarchy led the 13th century English barons to
barons to rebel and force King John to sign Magna Carta at Runnymede.
The principles of liberty enshrined in Magna Carta
Community Policing At The Cops
Even though most departments have some community policing in their mission statement
community partnership(arguably the most important part) is the least used in many
departments(Maguire, Katz, 2002). Many departments inflate their involvement in community
policing especially since the COPS(community oriented policing services) give federal grants to
departments who use this. Actually billions have been spent on community policing and millions on
researching it but no definitive evidence of its success on crimehas been made by the early 21st
century(Weisburd and Eck 2004). It can be very difficult to truly understand how certain cities really
implement community policing since it really comes down to each individual policeofficer service. If
the actual police officer on an individual level don t internalize community policing than it doesn t
matter how much training and programs the department has they aren t truly implementing it on the
ground without the helpe of each officer, this includes managers, policies of the department, chiefs,
and supervisors. The different members of the hierarchy must reinforce community policing training
into the culture for full implementation of community policing. Critique There are many critics of
community policing which Mathew(1992) disagrees that there is any causal relations between
disorder and crime. New Yorks style of community policing had to do with order maintenance which
was strongly criticized by Harcourt (1998) and
Countee Cullen s Incident
Narration is a powerful means of conveying one s ideas and opinions. It is a necessary component
when it comes to reaching out and connecting with the audience. Countee Cullen s Incident , as
well as Mark Twain s Two Ways of Seeing a River uses narration to give his audience insight into
experiences that ultimately caused the speakers to mature and view the world in a different light.
Initially what jumped out in Cullen s Incident was the title itself. The word incident warns the
reader that the work revolves around a certain event that has weight or significance to it. The title
looms over the poem and bears an ominous tone, as if to warn the reader to anticipate a serious
mood. Another thing that came as a surprise concerning Incident was Cullen s... Show more content

It adheres to a ballad form and meter rather closely. The rhythm made the work feel almost
cheerful. But this energy is a ruse of sorts and it s presence is ironic because the poem was not all
that cheerful, even at face value. The diction is a little more bleak than one would expect. It is
apparent that after the first read through of the poem that on the surface Cullen tells the story of an
adult African American male speaker recounting an experience he had as a child. Cullen plays
with the lightness of childhood innocence in the first quatrain. The reader can feel the past version
of the speaker s juvenile excitement as he was riding in Baltimore, particularly when Cullen writes
...heart filled, head filled with glee, (Cullen, Ln 2). But this is quickly stifled as he is confronted
with the adult issue of racism when another child ...poked out his tongue and called me, Nigger
(Cullen Ln 7 8). As Cullen has his speaker remembering this event, the reader is allowed access to
something that visibly impacted the speaker and stayed with him. This experience shows the reader
that despite what
Michael Harrington s The Other America
From The Other America, in Major Problems by Michael Harrington is a document that tells of the
poverty present in America that is often skillfully and unintentionally concealed and also speaks of
Lyndon Johnson s war on poverty and briefly of how poverty rose during the Reagan administration.
After Johnson s declaration of war on poverty, there was significant change regarding the climate of
the social, economic, and political in the America of those times. And while Johnson s countless
social programs helped decrease poverty immensely, it also left a huge number drowning in it still.
Later Reagan s administration would cite George Gilder on the fact that welfare did not reduce
poverty but increase it to explain why the levels of poverty rose during the first few months of
Reagan s administration. Democrats and liberals would argue against this and say that poverty...

During these times, Harrington wrote The Other America which detailed just how ingrained poverty
is in the society of America and how it is concealed throughout the country by the manner of dress,
mannerisms, and character and how that inadvertently affects them drastically simply because they
blend in with the rest of America that is not struggling economically. Harrington surmises that not
only do those in poverty struggle economically but politically as well as their voice is not heard.

Part 2: Lyndon B. Johnson s Great Society altered the character and scope of the federal
government by making a significant statement by the social programs he put into to place and by
sending help to the public in order to battle poverty after his declaration that he had begun a war on
poverty. It directly acknowledged that the American people needed help and that help was in the
process of coming. The character of the

Santiago s Journey
How to Read Literature like a Professor, by Thomas C. Foster, is like painting a picture; with
painting the first step is to paint inside the lines, but an advanced artist understands that a picture is
made up of not just color, texture, and shapes, but also considers the purpose behind each stroke.
Foster brings a different meaning to reading a book and draws attention to the author and his or her
intention. While applying Fosters teaching s to Paulo Coelho s The Alchemist, the main character,
Santiago s journey becomes more than a journey it turns into a quest. Simple drinks and foods turn
symbolic into acts of communion and while ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Santiago knows that he is the protege and the Alchemist is his mentor, they have respect for each
other How characters are getting along or not getting along (Foster 80). Drinking wine in a foreign
country where it is illegal, is an act of unity and also Whenever people eat or drink together, it s
communion (Foster 8). To Foster, Breaking bread is an act of sharing and peace (8) Santiago and
the Alchemist would not have shared their last meal together on the Oasis if they had not wanted a
peaceful environment before their journey to come.
At one point, weather becomes vital to Santiago s survival. Santiago and the Alchemist were
traveling through the desert to get to the pyramids when they came across tribesman. The tribesman
believe that Santiago and the Alchemist are spies. The Alchemist explains that he is A guide to his
friend (Coelho 139). The tribesman are still curious and proceed to ask about Santiago. The
Alchemist says Santiago is an Alchemist and he understands the forces of nature and wants to show
them his extraordinary powers (Coelho 139). The Alchemist continues explaining that If he wanted
to, he could destroy this camp just with the forces of the wind (Coelho 140). Santiago spends the
next three days trying to control the wind, on the third day the chief came to him wanting to see him
turn himself into the wind. Finally, when Santiago and the wind start to talk, Foster s point of
White Wash Should Be Banned
For the last two years, the Oscars have come under fire in the last two years with their lack of
nominations of people with color. The Oscars otherwise known as the Academy Awards is an
award show to highlight and give praise to the best movies and short films of the year, including
in this prestigious awards are the actors and actresses that star in these blockbusters and they are,
as well as their movies praised on the highest level for their craft. However what has become
under scrutiny is the so called White Wash that has come across the ceremony. In the past two
years, not a single actor of color was nominated. This was highlighted in opening monolog of last
year s host for the Oscars Chris Rock who stated in his opening fifteen seconds of his speech Well I
am here at the academy awards, otherwise known as the white peoples choice awards Now even
though this was a joke to bring up a controversial topic presented by the media at the time it still
brought up the fact and the idea lack of racial diversity. I believe that though there is no proof and
hard evidence except for... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Strides also have to be made for female nominees. Once again, women were shut out of the best
director category and of the 10 nominated screenplays, Hidden Figures co writer Allison Schroeder
was the only woman nominated. And after all these years, a woman has yet to be nominated in the
cinematography category. Through the years movies had primarily been directed by male directors
and many of the famous films and works of cinematography have been directed and produced by
men, so when a talented director that happens to be a women is being snubbed from nomination that
is going to be an area that I believe will be highlighted and touched upon in the
Caaspians Monologue
I wake up to an unusual feeling: Caspian s arms are not around me. I shiver; he keeps the Ihana at
an ungodly chilly temperature, though I don t usually realize it because he keeps me warm. My
shoulders feel bare, unnatural. When I open my eyes, I see him sitting up in bed, cross legged,
staring at me. His head is cocked to the side, a strange expression on his face, like he s never seen
me before. His orange eyes examine me in a way I ve not seen since I first met him. And then it hits
me: It came. The day he forgot me has come. And on Christmas Eve, too, a day when we re
supposed to celebrate and have fun and kiss the ones we love. Except what if the person you love
