Private Schools And Public Schools
Brooke Ward
Mr. Falor
Gov/Econ

The government is the reason we have order, safety, schools, roads, and many more things that we
don t think too much about in our everyday lives. There are two branches of government the
Democrats, and the Republicans. Our president, Donald Trump, is a republican. He believes in
more investment in our military than our schooling. We already took a pay cut in our schooling
system because of that, and the money that is going towards our schools are either going to public
or private schools. But is it really necessary for the government to fund private schools when students
already have to pay tuition? The government should be funding more towards public schooling.
By funding private schools, what will happen to the public schools that rely on that money from the
government to provide an education to the students in their community? What if the public schools
close, and the only other option that is reasonably close is a private school? A lot of people cannot
afford the tuition cost of private schools. The average cost of a private elementary school in
Michigan is 9,000 dollars per year. When kids move up to high school the cost jumps up to
13,500 dollars per year. (Average Private School Cost, 1) Most middle class families cannot afford
the tuition, and also any extracurricular activities such as volleyball, or track. The average person
in Michigan makes about 73,000 dollars per year (pay scale, 1). Depending on how many kids
What Is My Ideal Country Essay
When I picture the ideal society, it is everything that my homeland, Sweden, is not. Everything
that I hate about Sweden, everything that makes me dislike this country, does not exist there at
all. In the land of my dreams, the weather is warm and the sun is shining at all times. On the days
where the sun shines too bright, you can go for a swim in the turquoise ocean to cool off. That is
mainly what I would like to do after long days of work, just go to the ocean, lie on the beach with
white, fine sand and coconut trees surrounding the premises. There are also many activities that
keeps the visitors entertained, which easily happens when you go to the beach everyday. There are
bouncy castles in the ocean near the beach, you can go surfing, snorkelling to check out the
magnificent sea life and you can also rent a luxurious boat for as long as you wantfor a vacation on
the sea. That really makes it easy to keep life constantly interesting. One activity that probably is my
favorite one, is to discover all... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This combined with the friendly people and the lovely nature makes this country a popular tourist
destination. The shopping is also a very much appreciated tourist attraction. The shopping areas in
the country can be compared to places like New York and London. There is also no language
barrier for english speakers here since the mother tongue here is english.
When thinking of cultural identity I see myself as, a mixed latina caucasian, middle class
Christian. The things I do in my everyday life reflects off of what I was taught in my early stages
of life. Learning morals to what is right and wrong. Also learning to how to be a women and to be
ladylike. With also learning and how to apply my religion in my everyday life. Being a Christian I
believe there is one God and that is Jesus. I believe God sent down his only son to sacrifice
himself for us the people. Also growing up I have heard how different religions is wrong. For
example, the Catholic faith. I was told the Catholic religion believe in three Gods. The Father,
The Son, and The Holy Spirit. The Catholic religion also pray in the Father, The Son, and Holy
Spirit. Being a Christian I was taught there was only one name to pray in and that is in Jesus
name. This affects my everyday life because the way I act, speak, dress affects my religion and
morals that were given to me since birth. Being ethnocentric I believe my religion is correct. I
know it correct because I follow the Bible. What I give off to people is a representation of that.
On the other hand, I do believe all religions are correct in their own way. They were taught the
same things I was taught, but just in different ways. I do feel like who am I to say there religion is
incorrect. It is not my place it is Gods place. This is the part where I am also polycentric. With me

Willy Loman s Metheric Body
When man lives and weaves in the world of flowing tones, he himself is saturated by these tones.
When he returns, from the Devachanic world, his own consciousness soul, intellectual, and sentient
soul are permeated with the vibrations of the Devachanic realm; he has these within himself, and
with them he penetrates the physical world. When man has absorbed these vibrations, they enable
him to work from his sentient soulonto the sentient body and the etheric body. Having brought these
vibrations of Devachan along with him, man can convey them to his etheric body, which then
resonates with these vibrations. The nature of the etheric and the sentient bodies is based on the
same elements, on spiritual tone and spiritual vibrations. The etheric... Show more content on

When a person hears music, the impression is experienced first in the astral body. Then, the tones
are consciously sent to the etheric body, and man overcomes the tones already there. This is the
basis both of the pleasure of listening to music and of musical creativity.
Along with certain musical sounds, something of the astral body flows into the etheric body. The
latter now has received new tones. A kind of struggle arises between the sentient body and the
etheric body. If these tones are strong enough to overcome the etheric body s own tones, cheerful
music in the major key results. When music is in a major key, one can observe how the sentient
body is the victor over the etheric body. In the case of minor keys, the etheric body has been victor
over the sentient body; the etheric body has opposed the vibrations of the sentient body.
When man dwells within the musical element, he lives in a reflection of his spiritual home. In this
shadow image of the spiritual, the human soul finds its highest exaltation, the most intimate
connection with the primeval element of man. This is why even the most humble soul is so deeply
affected by music. The most humble soul feels in music an echo of what it has experienced in
Devachan. The soul feels at home there. Each time he listens to music man senses, Yes, I am from

The Theory Of Swing Kids
Theory Illustrations Swing Kids offers excellent depictions of many persuasion concepts, including
fear appeals, source credibility, and foot in the door/door in the face approaches. It also illustrates
three familiar persuasion theories: Cognitive Dissonance, Social Judgment, and Elaboration
Likelihood (for discussion of these theories, see Gass Seiter, 1999; Griffin, 1997; Larson, 1995;
Woodward Dentón, 1996). The foUowing is a brief summary of how these three theories are
illustrated by the three primary characters. Cognitive Dissonance. Arvid stands firmly against values
and beliefs that are inhumane and evil. His behaviors are consistent with his attitudes. He recognizes
that even small inconsistencies in behavior can lead to changes in attitudes. He declares, Anytime
you go along with them [the Nazis], you just make it easier for them. Peter begins the movie with
anti Nazi sentiments but becomes confused once he is forced to join the HJ. The more he engages in
HJ activities, the more his attitudes change. In a conversation in the middle in the movie, he defends
the Nazis and puts down his father, reducing the importance of his previous cognitions. When he
comes to his senses near the end of the movie, his monologues suggest that he has decided to stand
by principle rather than reduce his cognitive dissonance by rationalizing his behavior. Thomas
spends much of the movie rationalizing his behavior and overturning his attitudes and values. He
denies volition about
How A Regulator Observe Data Integrity Of Pharmaceutical...

Transition From Childhood To Adulthood Essay
The transition from an adolescent to an emerging adult can be difficult and often includes many
challenges and changes. Some of these changes include emotional, physical, cognitive and social
variations to one s body, intellect, and maturity level and friend group. For numerous teens going
through the process of puberty is a confusing emotionally charged time for self exploration and an
opportunity to push boundaries. Each adolescent s experiences are unique to their own situations
and anatomical anatomy. Adolescencecan be defined as a developmental period or transition from
childhood to adulthood; it involves biological, cognitive and socioemotional changes. Adolescence
begins at approximately 10 13 years of age and ends in the late teens. During this period in an
adolescent s life, their emotions are usually heightened and they tend to get into more conflicts with
their parents. G. Stanley Hall calls this effect the storm and stress view in which teens are more
adept to mood swings and conflicts due to the hormonal changes within their bodies. As the teen
grows emotionally they become more aware of how their emotions affect others and they also learn
how to communicate their feelings in more constructive ways. If a teen does not find a healthy outlet
to express these symptoms, it can lead to depression, anger, academic difficulty, drug abuse and
eating disorders. In my experience with my emotional development in adolescence I did get into
more arguments with
Cakeout Dagoie Saloon Analysis
The piece Stakeout by The Tango Saloon effectively uses instrumentation, harmony and rhythm to
convey character in the song.
The prominent use of organ in the piece contributes to the songs tense, foreboding character. The
dissonance created by the organ and the use of a rotary speaker creates a thick, unnatural and
disturbing timbre. The character of the song is also conveyed using auxiliary percussion. The
ostinato arpeggio played on the xylophone in the chorus, along with the tubular bell strikes, shakers
and heavy toms convey this character.
The use of harmony in the piece is one of the main elements that creates character in the piece. The
song focuses heavily on the harmony associated with the ii chord in the song s key of C minor;
