Abstract
A B Zee, which specialises on children products, has just been set up as an independent subsidiary
of a well established leading UK retailer, Goodwins. The HR Director and the store managers of
their two sites (London and northern) were faced with the challenge of recruiting sales assistants.

These were distributed to houses fairly close to the store and to those of the ethnic minority around
the store. This was carried out in order to meet the objective of having a balanced work force in
terms of gender, age and ethnic minority.
Apart from being easily accessible, the recruitment team also responded by making themselves more
available. They worked through the evenings and weekends, thereby making them more available to
applicants.
At the northern store, the closure of several manufacturing companies was an opportunity to have
a large pool of potential candidates. A B Zee took the initiative to solicit with the local Job
Centre. The result was that there were too many applications to be processed. The major constraint
was time. As a result of the huge number of applications, there was constraint in the task of short
listing for interview which was as a resulted of the enormous volume of applications received.
Majority of the applicants were of good quality Also, given the size of the task and the time
available it was very likely that the quality of the short listing decisions would be affected.
The lay out of the application form did not help the short listing process at all. The most relevant
information was not grouped together. This was a major constraint as well because more resources,
effort and time had to be devoted to responding to all the applicants.
The recruitment team was also faced with the constraint of having to respond
Words To Describe Chicago
Dangerous, chaotic, gun violence, murder rate, and Chirac are all words used by various amounts
of people on twitter, when asked to describe Chicago using one word or phrase. If I were to describe
the city of Chicago, I would simply say: complex, diverse, misunderstood, windy, and lastly
beautiful. Many people who view Chicagoas a bad city, because of all the crime and murder rate,
which is why people refer to Chicago as Chirac . Being born and raised in Chicago, I can tell you
that Chicago is a much better city than most people view it as. This windy city, specifically
downtown Chicago loop, is such a beautiful place to visit in the summer and has special meaning to
me.
In order to get to the downtown Chicago loop, you can take the train. ... Show more content on

This beach is known to be one of the most popular beaches in the downtown Chicago loop area
and is always packed with tons of people in the summer. People are always looking for ways to
avoid thinking about the sun, and North Avenue beach is the perfect place to be to avoid your
thoughts on the extremely hot weather. I love to feel my feet soak into the soft, warm sand.
There are volleyball nets set up in the sand, so I always make sure I have a ball to play. I can play
volleyball for hours on the sand, although when I finish, my wrists are as red as tomatoes. After I
play volleyball, I prepare myself to get in the water. The water is always cold of course. But, on a
hot and humid day, the temperature of the water just right for me. There is also has a beach
house shaped like a boat, where you can go in and put your belongings in lockers or use the
washroom. There are more activities to do at North Avenue Beach other than playing volleyball
and swimming. You can tan, people watch, rent bikes to ride, rent jet skis or kayaks, or grab a
snack from the concessions stands that people set up. Many people rent bikes to ride them down
lake shore drive. On the other hand, many people also go to North Avenue beach just to buy food. I
love to buy funnel cakes. I always get a funnel cake with extra vanilla ice cream, topped with
chocolate fudge and
Identify the stages of the Nursing Process and the skills...
The nursing process is a five stage systematic framework, and based on the problem solving
approach; it forms the foundation for nursing practice to facilitate focussed, individualised care
planning for patients (Yildirim and Ozkahraman 2011). This assignment will serve to identify the
five stages of the nursing process: Assessment, Nursing Diagnosis, Planning, Implementation and
Evaluation. The skills: Communication, Observation, Critical Thinking and Reflection involved
within the nursing process in partnership with the patient will also be highlighted. The first stage of
the nursing process is assessment. This is a continuous process from hospital admission to discharge.
It is about compiling objective and subjective information... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It is critical that it is used in a multisensory manner for it to be fully effective (Pellico 2009). For
example, a sense of hearing and touch may need to be used during observation of a wound healing,
whilst simultaneously interacting with the patient. The nurse must then decide, with the help of the
patient, what was identified from the healing wound, and use critical thinking to make effective
and safe clinical decisions (Kisiel and Perkins 2006). Critical thinking not only involves thinking
systematically, and questioning judgements and reasons related to decision making (Farell 2011),
but it also requires all the skills identified above, throughout the whole of nursing practice. The
Nursing Diagnosis, being the second stage in the process, involves interpretation of data, which
may result in other potential problems (Junttila 2010). Clinical judgements and nursing goals are
then made based on the data collected from the assessment stage (Huckabay 2009). For instance, a
patient may present with obesity, possibly resulting in high blood pressure or depression. A goal of
care may be to promote acceptance of body image and weight loss strategies with the most up to
date evidence. Unlike medical diagnoses, a nursing diagnosis is holistic were the nurse considers the
health of the whole person. In doing so, the nurse will be able to put in place individualised patient
care during intervention. This should enhance and form good
