Discrimination Against Muslims
Being a Muslim in America country is a struggle, and ever since 9/11, things have taken a turn for
Muslims. When Trump was elected president, the discrimination against Muslims has grown
stronger. People need to be educated about Muslim culture and eliminate the perception that every
Muslim is a terrorist. The community I am looking towards on the University of Kentucky campus
is the MSA. The MSA is the MuslimStudent Association and their goal is to promote Islamand teach
us all about the peaceful nature of the religion. Throughout my paper these 5 sources that I
researched played a major role in the Muslim community. My first source was a video called Muslim
leaders speak out after mosque fire. My second source was an article called Young... Show more

When I was reading this magazine I was able to identify the different types of appeals the author
used throughout the magazine. He had credibility because he cited from the Qur an and the Qur
an is never wrong, but many people might not agree with this and might have a different
perspective about Islam. He also had emotion because he was a Muslim, he experienced hate and
the person who receives hate knows the feeling. He stated, logos because it has logic in it because
Muslims now the Quran and he stated from the Quran and whatever is stated in the Quran it is
basically never wrong. Lets take a moment away from the hate crime side of it and focus on the
backstory of a Muslim. The goal of the MSA is to promote peace and teach others about Islam and
they do Islamic activities that show what true Muslims are really like. The MSA holds weekly
halaqahs meaning meeting about Islam and the purpose of these meetings is to spread the word
about Islam and how truly Islam
Notes On Blue Terms
DEFINITONS: BLUE TERMS
Albedo
The amount of solar radiation that is reflected by a surface or object. If something has a high
Albedo it reflects more of the Sun s radiation, whereas a low reflection then reflects less. Snow and
ice, both have a high albedo as they both reflect high proportions other Sun s radiation. A couple
examples of a substance having a low albedo would be vegetation (grass or trees) and oceans.
Though the albedo of soils and earth does vary as factor such as cloud cover, snow, ice, leaf cover,
and land use affect how much radiation a surface can reflect from the Sun.

Earth s climate has always been changing, though the change that is being observed now is such a
concern due to certain factors. The thing that is concerning about climate change is the rapid rate at
which it is occurring. Changes in climate are happening at a very fast speed, changes in the past
were dramatic but gradual at the same time, over a time span of thousands of years. Also, the
possibility of climate change to continue at the same speed is very likely as many factors both
natural and human activities affect it.

Although the media often refer to Global Warming, a more appropriate term is Global Climate
Change. Why does it matter, and what is the difference?
A more appropriate term for the change we are witnessing in climate is Global Climate Change
rather than Global Warming. The term Global warming means that the climate of the Earth is
increasing in temperature, globally. Yes, the world is getting warmer although there are many
factors that take a part in this change in climate. These factors such as precipitation, and evaporation
are all part of this global change and in order to include all these changes a better term is needed
rather than Global Warming. The term that can be used to modify the understanding of these
changes is Global Climate Change. Global Climate Change
The Executive Of Organizational Change Management
Cisco was founded in 1983 in San Francisco, California and is the worldwide leader in information
technology (IT) for over 30 years. With annual revenue of $49.2B and over 71,000 employees, Cisco
shapes the future of the Internet by creating unprecedented value and opportunity for our customers,
employees, investors, and ecosystem partners (Cisco, 2016). Our strategy is to create solutions built
on intelligent networks that solve our customers challenges while creating lasting partnerships that
support their success (Cisco, 2016). Therefore, as Cisco s competition continues to grow and
innovative products are increasing, we need to change our strategy to meet these demands. As the
Director of Organizational Change Management, I have prepared the following Organizational
Change Management(OCM) Plan, which I present to the stakeholders for review and approval.
Role of Strategic RenewalThe role of the strategic renewal will focus on flatting our management
structure. Based on our year end (YE) employee survey, the results indicated a 50% decrease in
employee communication and autonomy from our previous year. Organizational structure is needed
in our evolving environment. However, a flat organizational structure features less layers of
management and can help improve communication and decision making. This will provide the
following benefits to the organization. 1) Allow more time to focus on core products, develop new
products while listening to your customers.

Vietnam Education
Introduction:
Viet Nam, a country with more than 80 million people, is a developing country which is in the
process of transition from a centrally planned to a market economy and world economic integration.
Besides common challenges facing developing countries, Viet Nam is facing with greater challenges,
i.e. the need to accumulate for long term development and industrialization and modernization in
parallel with the need to urgently alleviate poverty and create social equality in differently developed
sectors. Beside impacts of integration, modernization, hunger alleviation and poverty reduction,

Occupational training is another function of education and is necessary for a system that train people
for jobs. (425 4126) According to National Institute for Educational Development, though the

provinces and cities have achieved the national standard for illiteracy eradication and primary
education universalisation. Some advantaged cities and provinces have been progressing to the
universalisation lower secondary education. The average number of years attending school for
population is 7.3. Primary school enrolment is almost universal, net enrolment in primary education
has increased from 87% in 1998 to 92% in 2000. Similarly, net enrolment in lower secondary
education has increased from 30% in 1993 to 74% in 2000. Gender differences in primary school are
cooperatively small and the quality of basic education has been gradually improving through the
introduction of reformed curriculum. During the last ten years higher education has been increased
100%. There are 118 students per 10,000 population in 2000, and increase to 670 in 2007. Vocational

Suffering From A Powerful And Good God
Pain and suffering in the face of the idea of an all powerful and good God has presented difficulties
for philosophers and theologians alike for centuries. The 20th century Jewish French philosopher
Emmanuel Levinas attempts to explain pain in his essay, Useless Suffering. Levinas suggest through
an abbreviated phenomenology and subsequent thrashing of theodicythat sufferingis best understood
as meaningful in me, useless in the Other. 1 While Levinas s phenomenology is logically consistent,
his assessment of usefulness of theodicy in light of the suffering of the 20th century is suspect,
however this does not impact the validity of his understanding of suffering in the inter human order.
Levians s attempt to address the phenomenon of suffering from his observations led to a flawed
mindset that excused the work of theodicy rather choosing to explain useless suffering from an inter
human perspective apart from God. Levinas approaches the topic of suffering from the discipline of
phenomenology. Attempting to explain suffering in the world, Levinas approaches the problem
from conscious perception of suffering. From observation of pain and suffering Levinas states the
following conclusion:
This elevated thought2 is the honor of a still uncertain and blinking modernity coming at the end of a
century of nameless sufferings, but in which the suffering of suffering, the suffering for the useless
suffering of the other person, the just suffering in me for the unjustifiable
Feed Machine Advantages And Disadvantages
There are advantages and disadvantages that will be exist if we using the feed machine instead of
not using any machines. The advantages that we can observe is save time and energy. This is
because every machine that had been invented is high technology and can do a various function
for a long period of time. Since that the machine can do a various function, we can say that we can
save a lot of time because the machine can produce a lot of feed in a short period of time and the
feed also can be produced fast and in economic way. In the aspect of energy, we can also save the
energy since that there are reduction of workers that will be used because of the machine can do
their activities by their own without any disturbance from other things. Besides... Show more content

The animal performance also can be improved when the feed are more uniformed in size and shape
compared to powder diet, so they can be taken easily by the animals due to their high density. The
feed also become more compact of the nutrients and energy that will make the size of the animals
become increased rapidly. The size of the pellet become uniform in size and shape is due to the
feed pellet mill that functions as to make the ingredients to become a pellet. The feed machine also
function to decreased feed wastage because of the pelleting process prevents the segregation of
ingredients in a mixing, handling or feeding process, so animals can take in all the nutrition
contained in the feed. Other than that, the heat generated from the pelleting process in conditioning
and pelleting make the feedstuffs more digestible by breaking down the starches. From this situation,
the pellet will become more palatable to the animals. After that, feed machine also can reduce the
selective feeding among the animals because of most of the ingredients of the formulation had

Hurricane Katrin The Second Largest Hurricane
Hurricane Katrina known as the fifth largest hurricane ever to hit the United States formed on
August 23, 2005 and dissipated August 31, 2005. Katrina was classified as a category five
hurricane with wind speeds up to 175 mph. Katrina made headlines because of its destruction
region which was Louisiana. Many families especially African Americans were considered to be
vulnerable and left to die from the disaster. In the following I will address whether Katrina was a
natural disaster ready to happen or if it could have been prevented by an elaborate plan to evacuate
the effected regions.
African American neighborhoods were devastated by Hurricane Katrina because they lived in low
line areas, whereas Whites lived in higher grounds less likely to get hit by the storms. Low income
communities were hit more because of urban areas. These areas included levees that didn t protect
homes from the storms. What is astonishing is that the government was fully aware that New
Orleans levees were failing and wouldn t hold a category five Hurricane. Yet they did nothing to
protect the humans.
Federal and local government hindered and prevented the evacuation of African Americans from
their neighborhoods. Failures included not having an evacuation plan for New Orleans. IEM which
stands for Innovative Emergency Management is compromised by the government to form an
evacuation plan for a natural disaster. In reality there was no plan that IEM had for Hurricane
Katrina. Here we can clearly note

Physics Lab Report: Parallel Force
Aim: To test the principle of moments.
Apparatus: Metre rule with holes drilled at the 25cm, 50cm and 75cm mark, 50g masses
50mm long bolt with a diameter of approximately 5mm, retort stand, boss head and clamp, 0 10 N
spring balance, electronic pan balance ,wire or string for suspending masses from the metre rule, two
bulldog clips.
Part A: Balancing a constant moment.
Procedure:
1. The experiment is set up by first placing the bolt through the rule, then the bolt is clamped with
the boss head. The rule must be ensured that it is balances horizontally before adding any weights.
2. The height of the pivot is adjusted so that when the rule is balanced the weights are a few
centimeters above the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The difference between anticlockwise moment and clockwise moment increases when the mass used
at the fixed distance increases.
3. Clockwise moment is equals to anticlockwise moment.
4. It is because the pivot point is on the center of the mass of the rule. The mass is cancelled off as
the lever distance is 0.
5. The length of the lever arm for the clockwise moment has to be increased as more weights at the
fixed distance to the left of the pivot increases. This is because when more weights are added, the
anticlockwise moment increases. To achieve equilibrium, anticlockwise moment must equals to
clockwise moment. So at the clockwise moment where the mass is constant, the length must be
increased so that the clockwise torque produced can balance the anticlockwise torque.
