Examples Of Cheating
Cheating, people do it, but what about the penalties that are given to the people who are caught?
People cheat on many things: school, sports, and, but not limited to, relationships. But there are
many ways to cheat in those multiple examples, like in sports cheating can happen with: drugs,
academic eligibility, or even through recruiting. With all the sports the focus could be on, college
basketball seems to have the easiest examples of cheating. What makes college basketball coaches
break the rules, is it worth the penalty?
Roy Williams has had an unproven history of not obeying the academic rules, but he was actually
caught in 2004. One of his players, Rashad McCants, recently came out and said Roy did cheat.
Rashad McCants, a North Carolina basketball player from 2002 2005 was one of the leading
scores on the 2005 National Champion UNC team, who said he participated in Roy Williams
academic scandal. He was drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves and then ended up being
unsigned in the league by the year 2009, admitted to taking bogus classes designed to help
athletes stay academically eligible (Delsohn). Rashad McCants is the only person who came out
against Roy Williams in the academic scandal. The classes Rashad McCants referred to recently
were exposed in his interview with Steve Delsohn, a writer for ESPN. The class was a paper class,
that did not require attendance to the class at all, but rather to turn in a term paper at the end of the
semester to receive a
Picnic Critique
At Prospect Theater in Modesto, California on the Sunday afternoon of September 18, 2016, the
play Picnic was presented. This play was depicted on Labor Day in the 1950 s, and it demonstrated
to the audience how the apple does not fall far from the tree in mother Flo and daughter Madge s
life decisions. In order to make this evident to the audience, the director Michael Hewitt capitalized
on the stage setting, the soundeffects, and costumes. The stage setting played an integral part in the
production of Picnic . The days were tracked by Nikko Linares playing Bomber because he delivered
the newspaper; this was a seemingly small characterthat played a large role because it showed the
quick and almost reckless actions of Madge a the end of the play. The quaint stage s space fully
maximized its potential with the use of two homes with porches, a retro looking chair and a tree
stump inbetween them, and a white picket fencethat seemed to connect the two homes. The homes
were both housing only women from very different walks of life. The house where Becky Bjerke
playing Madge resides was facing the audience and away from the train tracks. The director did this

The actors and actresses were all wearing clothes that fit them well. The socio economic status of
each character was depicted of each of their outfits; Alan was dressed the best as he was the most
wealthy. At the beginning of the play, Madge was wearing a red and white dress that almost
resembled a table cloth for a picnic table (this was quite fitting for the Labor Day picnic). Although,
she changed into her new pink gown that her mother had bought for her for another occasion, so
when her mother had her take it off, it symbolized her being done with Alan. From there she
changed into a blue dress that was very plain and cheap looking; this symbolized how she had

Government Spying On You Without Permission
Do you ever want the government spying on you without permission? This is what the Department
of Homeland Security (D.H.S) is doing to you because of an act that passed 45 days after the 9/11
attack. The Congress had to rush the act since they fear more attacks will happen, and was quickly
passed without votes. In fact, homeland security is against our civil liberties (personal freedom). My
partner and I believe that homeland security in the United Statesshould be controlled by the
government because it is against a lot of amendments in the Constitution, and popular sovereignty
(citizen s power).
On the other hand, my opponents might say homeland security sacrifices privacy for better
protection and safety, but in my opinion it is cheating to go through records without any
permission by a guardian or the court. In the United Kingdom, the government has a law called Do
not spy on us which is using the parliament to stop power on spying citizen s records, this is a great
example to the U.S . It also recommend to have a secure internet for the U.K and to have transparent
laws not secret laws. Also, my opponent might say homeland security is preventing acts of terrorism
and improving their protection since the 9/11 attacks, but in my opinion, the D.H.S and other police
departments are removing privacy from other citizens, many traffic ... Show more content on

According to Los Angeles Times in 2009, the U.S.A Patriot Act, which is part of homeland security,
allows the F.B.I to search records without warrants which breaks citizens right for privacy, the
amendment that broke is the 4th amendment which is searches and seizures. From the Washington
Blog in September 23rd, 2013, they stated the government is spying on us through our computers,
phones, cars, buses, and the streets, also the security departments use scanners and drones to spy on

Mafia Gang Member-Personal Narrative
So,basically it s a story about a mafia gang member whom every one adored and of course

a beast(sorry that was a bit cliché)....her motto if for you death is scary then I don t mind, because
the job we are doing doesn t guarantee our lives, but until you are working under me you mustn t be
scared of living.
She was the type who even if she didn t want to .. stood out and even the reason she was in mafia
was laughable but in that world you could say it was scary or more like a landmine...a poison with
no antidote... she was revered even by the gang leader...but he was unable to control her...she was

Political Science 101, M/W
In our school system we are forced to learn history such as the Civil Rights Movement. We are taught
that racism is no longer alive with in our society. This discrimination is evident with in our
community which has started some movements to battle the issue of racism and the discrimination.
Some movements are Black Lives Matter and the kneeling during the singing of the national anthem
which was started by Colin Kaepernick back in 2016. The Black Lives Matter movement was started
because of all the police brutality that we have seen in the media. The kneeling in the national
anthem started with Kaepernick because he felt that he had to protest what he deems as
wrongdoings against African Americans and minorities in the United States. During interviews he
says, I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people
and people of color, Kaepernick told NFL Media. It is easy to say that we are all equal and that our
system sees no color. We can easily see that the rights of racial minorities are under attack in vital
areas such as immigration, affordable healthcare and housing.
A lot has happened from during the time of 1900 to 1964, California grew rapidly and soon
became an agricultural and industrial power. Within the 1900 to 1939 the Segregation Era
happened, racial oppression escalated across the United Sates. This Created a lot of problems along
the way. From 1900
Congress Must Reform Current Legislation Restrict...
Affirmative Case Congress must reform current legislation to restrict bioprospecting on federal land,
and regulate the amount of monetary gain that landholders can receive from bioprospecting
companies that use their resources. The National Park Service is a smaller government agency
within the Department of Agriculture. This is the agency that is in dire need of legislation to restrict
bioprospecting, and manage the profitmargin that national parks can receive from allowing
bioprospecting companies to use their resources.
Observation I Harms/Significance/Motive The Department of Agriculture manages land owned by
the federal government. As a result, the Department of Agriculture would enforce laws regarding
how the federal government might profit from prospecting natural biological resources within the
United States. However, if Congress does not pass legislation to dictate when, where and how
bioprospecting can be profited from then individual agencies may characterize bioprospecting as
scientific research.
It is moral and legally ethical to use bioprospecting profits for maintaining national parks. The
Biodiversity Treaty sanctioned that countries whose biological resources are exploited by
bioprospecting companies have a right to share the financial benefits resulting from the sale of these
resources (Adair, 1997). National parklands are owned by the federal government. Therefore, our
national parks have the legal right to share in the financial benefits that
Placebos And Ethical Issues
Placebos have been used in clinical trials since the eighteenth century but did not become a
research topic until the late twentieth century (van Haselen, 2013). Most often when using
placebos in clinical trials it is to determine whether or not the active agent has more effect on a
patient than the placebo by providing each to the same number of recipients. The trials are almost
always double blinded, this means that both person giving the drug and the person receiving it
are unaware whether or not it is active so that good care and relationships must be present in the
recipients at all times (Tavel, 2014). Ovosi, Ibrahim, Bello Ovosi (2017) declared The choice
between placebo and active controls in clinical trials affects the quality of the result as well as the
ethical and scientific acceptability by both the public and regulatory bodies. It has, therefore,
continued to generate discuss among researchers (para. 3). This goes against the autonomy of a
patient which is the right for a person to... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The placebo effect, prescribing placebos and the use of placebos in clinical trials all are
examples of why placebos are an ethical issue. The reason it is an ethical issue is because the
physicians, for the most part, are giving patients inert substances and telling them it is going to
make them feel better. This can be perceived as lying and deception by certain people even though
the intent is to help people have positive effects when there are not many other options without
the use of drugs. The nocebo and placebo can also be considered reasons for the placebo to be an
ethical issue since they do not always have a positive effect on patients. This is due to the
continuous lack of knowledge one has on how exactly placebos affect the brain. Placebos being an
ethical issue is because many physicians and patients have different thoughts on whether or not a
placebo should be used in certain

Hamlet Literary Analysis
It s not surprising that Shakespeare is considered one of the greatest play writiers. All his tragedies
cause us humans to feel for the horrible plots against the main character that Shakespeare put
together in continuous extenuating circumstances of sadness. All of these plays are called tragedies,
and Hamletwas just the first written by Shakespeare (SparkNotes). Hamlet is the story of a Danish
prince whose uncle murders the Hamlet s father. That same uncle marries his mother, and claims the
throne. In retribution the prince pretends to be foolish and whitless to throw his uncle off guard,
then manages to kill his uncle in revenge. In this essay I will talk about inspiration from
shakespeare, from this play what has it inspired other people to create, and about various famous
quotes from the play. Hamlet didn t just come from nowhere, let s first talk about how the tragedy
came to be one of the greatest in the Western world (SparkNotes). As a matter of fact Shakespeare
was inspired sometime between 1599 and 1601; right at the turn of the century where many
impactful tensions going on (Write a Writing). Many people think that Hamlet used this as a
metaphor to highlight the tensions that existed and arose during the English Reformation that
delved into whether Catholics were legitimate or the Protestants (Write a Writing). According to
Sparknotes Shakespeare borrowed for his plays ideas and stories from earlier literary works
(Sparknotes). There may have been
