Persepolis Satire
French philosopher Jean Baudrillard spoke: the world is not dialectical it is sworn to extremes, not
to equilibrium, sworn to radical antagonism, not to reconciliation or synthesis. This is also the
principle of evil. In Marjane Satrapi s Persepolis, the events and effects of the Islamic Revolution
are portrayed; what is most notable, however, are the steps taken to portray Satrapi s personal
position. In her graphic text, she illustrates her work with a sharp blackand whitecontrast, utilized to
portray a variety of themes. How can one s perspective filter the way they view the world around
them? That question is what Satrapi challenges with Persepolis, which distinguishes her work.
Through the black and white scheme, Persepolis illustrates political and social extremism; a lack
of gray area between opposing sides of political warfare, especially from a victim s perspective. A
child s innocence is portrayed by the black and white scheme, as well as the book s formatting, in
an attempt to both politicize the surroundings of Satrapi and humanize her existence as a regular
youth who conversely resulted in being victimized by war. Persepolis additionally has an aimed
exclusion of colorthat directly refutes those who ostracize and discriminate against Iranian people.
Firstly, Persepolis utilizes its black and white color scheme to allow the author to be immersed in
the reality of the setting shown by the portrayal of the Islamic revolution; the sole existence of

We should continually seek feedback to improve customer satisfaction. Part of being a good
manager is to continually evaluate our own practice and lead by example. It is very important to
continually develop our own skills and those of our staff members. I regularly attend as many
Hairdressing seminars and exhibitions as possible each year to keep myself up to date and motivated.
I find that by holding a training class in the salon one evening per week gives every team member
a chance to show their individual skills and overall quality of their own work. It allows me their
manager to pick up on their strengths and weaknesses and very often I pick up something new from
watching them.
This is information that can be used when doing staff appraisals. It shows me areas of improvement
that are needed for each individual so I can plan relevant courses for them which will all help the
overall customer service offered in my salon. Staff reviews take place annually in the salon and
allows us to look at the standard of work over the past year and set targets for the year ahead. It
allows me to give feedback to each staff member individually and I find it strengthens the
relationship between us. It also gives employees the chance to tell me what they think and what their
aspirations are for the future. Task 2
Analyse the impact of client satisfaction on a hair/beauty business and
Similarities Between Death And The King s Horseman
African tribes and their traditions were often challenged by the European nations during the
colonialism and imperialism process. The tribes often adapted to the European customs and became
less of its traditional self as the European influence became greater. Some of the changes were for the
better, like better medical care and more industrialism. However, most of the changes uprooted the
pre existing social structure and, inevitably, the local government system with it. This often caused
civil unrest and political instability as many Africans attempted to retain the traditions that was once
prominent in the society. However, the traditional systems slowly faded away with the introduction
of more efficient and more European accepted systems.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This presents a problem, because the king s horseman must also die if the king dies. However,
this practice is obscure to the British, who are imperializing the society. The practice of taking
your own life for the act of duty was very strange to the British due to suicide being feared in their
own society. The British offer him new opportunities and Elesin consummates a marriage early in
the play, both of which give him reasons to not fulfil his duty. The Praise Singer feared that
Elesin would not be strong enough to take his own life. The Praise Singer believed that fear will
not depart from me the darkness of this new abode is deep (50 Wole). The Praise Singer believed
that the British society had corrupted Elesin from doing fulfilling his duty. With the British
society, Elesin would be able to live and to thrive under new leadership roles. However, the longer
he does not fulfill his duty the more his life deteriorates around him. At one point in the play the
entire tribe believed Elesin was dead and that he fulfilled his job, but when he is discovered to be
alive he is thrown in jail. There he learns that his son killed himself to fulfill the duty Elesin should
have fulfilled. Then Elesin kills himself to finally fulfill his duty, honor his society s and to pay
respect to his
Mobile Versions Of The Mobile
version isn t perfect, but is definitely better than the mobile phone version. There is a lot more
information on the desktop version than the mobile. The mobile version only has two images on
the slide instead of four. The mobile version also only has three categories to choose from instead
of six. The user is also unable to access their account on the mobile version. Most mobile versions
have a link at the bottom of the desktop or full site version but it does not work. The full site
version link just opens up another tab that contains the mobile version and not the desktop
version like it is supposed to. The desktop version is the best option out of the two when looking
for all of the information. The site is pretty easily navigated the user can pick a category and see
all of the other categories within the category with ease. The only problem is the words, besides
the main categories, are very tiny. If a user has bad eyesight, it could be very hard for them to see
the sub categories or some of the other links on the websites. Even someone with good eyesight
still has to squint in order to read the words correctly. In order to make the site better they should
make the words bigger and if it being too crowded is the issue they should readjust the sub
categories in order for there to be fewer and make them bigger in order to read them more easily.
There is a text size button that helps to increase the size of the text but not by much and it does
make it look more crowded.
Human And Microbial Components Of The Human Body Essay
Introduction With the influence of micro evolution, science is evolving at a relatively fast pace. We
as humans, are also evolving at a rate in which we still today have many unanswered questions;
pushing us to make this new technology to learn more. Our own health is always changing across
decades, keeping us up to date on finding new information about the human body. Our bodies are
composed of human and microbial components, making us supraorganisms. (Costello et al 2012)
Meaning we have advanced functions and work in units, to make us superior to other organisms on
the Earth. (Turnbaugh) We know currently essential information about microbiomes to help us
understand the human body a little better. The skin, mouth, esophagus, stomach, colon, gut, and
vagina are composed of microbial communities. Collectively, the gut has the most information.
Information pertaining to these body parts however, are limited simply because each individual is
unique This makes each body just as unique as the person. (The Scientist Staff) It is in still in
question whether we are functionally redundant between community members, and what kind of
factors are influencing this. (Turnbaugh) The struggle of finding accurate technology to be able to
compare human microbial communities globally include the degree of relatedness so whether that
persons are related, the place in the family structure, the age, demographics, there are many ethical,
legal, and logistical barriers, types of comparisons,

It is true that thecompany is a key player in its market and industry. It has a big market share
andenjoys a competitive position. However, the researcher would like to propose thatthe word
customer in the Mission Vision statement of the company should befurther defined especially in its
scope. It should clearly identify who are thesecustomers. It is further propose that the customers
should be group or segmented in order to fully define how each segment of customers can beserved
properly. Segmentation of the market will enable the company to be efficient in their operations that
would lead into a higher sense of delight andsatisfaction among customers. The company should then
state in its Mission Vision the following: Our purpose and first responsibility is to serve all the
students, professionals and allothers who visit our stores. We shall be passionately committed in
helping themto enrich their minds and improve skills to ensure their success.

How Is Sio2 Similar
SiO2 and FePO4 are very similar in terms of their crystal structure. SiO2 consists of a metalloid
bonded to oxygen atoms, whereas FePO4 consists of a transition metal which forms an ionic bond
with a Phosphate ion (cation), which itself consists of a non metal bonded to oxygen atoms. In
addition, the size of Si and FeP relative to oxygenare very similar. These structural similarities mean
that the observations made during the thermal transition from the alpha phase to the beta phase are
also similar loosely. This transition between phases is seen in the form of a change in the structure of
the compounds once they cross a certain temperature.
However, due to differences in chemical structure, the specifics of the change in structure are vastly

alpha FePO4 can be said to change more eagerly as compared to beta FePO4. In alpha FePO4, the
thermal expansion is seen to be largely non linear whilst having a significant amount of angular
variations similar to the other alpha quartz types.
However, thermal expansion does not take place in beta FePO4 as the process does not take place at
the extreme K levels (980K and beyond). The abrupt absence of the process is said to be caused by
dynamic instability, which in turn is related to the idea of rigid unit mode. This proves that there has
been a chemical restructuring between the range of temperature such that alpha beta FePO4
becomes two chemicals that are essentially different; their difference manifesting in the amount of
tetrahedral tilt they experience at different points of temperature increment (inter conversion through
tetrahedral tilting).
Hence, we can see that the mechanism is important as the structural changes related to it
(for polymorphs) affect symmetry. All in all, the behaviour of FePO4 is proven to not mimic that of
the other alpha quartz homeotypes. This conclusion of its properties itself makes
FePO4 an unsuitable piezoeletrical
