Talk about four uses of English in your daily
life. It’s undeniable the English is the most popular language in the world. It is an important tool for communication in both personal and professional settings. As a normal person, I can use English for many different purposes in daily life. First of all, I write emails in English to send cover letters or scholarship applications to international organizations or universities. In addition, if I have free time, I go to the beach and talk with foreign tourists in English to exchange cultures, improve speaking skills and expand knowledge. Traveling abroad is one of my hobbies. I have been to China, Indonesia and Malaysia, most of the time I spoke English with fellow travelers or volunteers in those countries. Sometimes I meet locals there but they don't actually speak English. Luckily, the supporters here helped me translate and convey my ideas. Furthermore, learning English can help me access a lot of information and resources, including books, videos, and online courses. Thanks to English, I can see the outside world. It can also open up new opportunities for personal and professional growth, such as pursuing my dream Stanford university or working in an international organization. In short, English is a valuable language, with many applications in daily life, from communication and learning to personal and professional development. Thanks for listening
3. Talk about a job you like.
Becoming a teacher is my biggest dream. Each person will have different career dreams, I have also thought about that many times. And finally, I choose teachers as my future goals. Honestly, there are many reasons why I chose teacher as my future job. First, the teacher’s job is to impart knowledge and help students develop intellectual and social skills. As a teacher, I will have the opportunity to educate young minds and shape their future. This is a fulfilling and rewarding career as teachers play a vital role in shaping the next generation. Furthermore, a teacher’s job is not only to teach academic subjects but also to guide and support students. Teachers act as role models and mentors, helping students navigate their personal and academic lives. This aspect of the job is what makes it unique and necessary. Regarding job qualifications, teachers must have a bachelor’s degree in education or a related field along with a teaching certificate. Additionally, teachers must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a passion for teaching and learning. Ultimately, the reason I believe teaching is the perfect job for me is because it aligns with my personal values and interests. I am passionate about education and believe that every child deserves a high quality education. As a teacher, I will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of my students and contribute to society in a meaningful way. In short, I look forward to pursuing this career path and making a positive impact in the lives of my future students.
