Position papers
Position papers are due on at the start of committee on
Saturday, November 6th. Please turn position papers into your
chair.
Dress code
Western business attire is required during committee and
opening/closing ceremony. Delegates are free to wear what they
feel comfortable in during the Saturday evening social.
Saturday workin lunch
We will be traveling as a group to Giovanni's Pizza in Isla Vista
(within close walking distance of the conference location) for
lunch on Saturday afternoon. Advisors and registered guests
are free. Delegates can purchase meal tickets from their chairs
on Saturday morning for $4 before the start of committee or
during the first unmoderated caucus
Social
The delegate social will be held Saturday evening at the Loma
Pelona Center, facing the Pacific Ocean on the UCSB.. There will
be a DJ and light refreshments. This is a great opportunity to
cement friendships developed over the first day of committee
and interact with your chair and other memberscof the Secretariat
in a less formal environment. Our first priority is to ensure
everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience at the social.
Please remember consumption or possession of alcohol in any
UCSB building is prohibited, and that anyone found inpossession
of alcohol will be immediately asked to leave the social and become
ineligable for delegate awards.
