Subject: Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM-2025)-reg.

Madam/Sir,

As intimated vide letter dated 11.06.2025 by Centre Director, Homi Bhabha Centre for Science
Education (HBCSE), Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, regarding the Indian Olympiad
Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM-2025). In this regard, following details are given hereunder:

1. The programme proceeds through several stages of selection and training conducted by
HBCSE, culminating in the participation of the Indian Team in the International
Mathematical Olympiad to be held in Shanghai, China in July 2026.
2. The Mathematics Teachers' Association (MTA) will conduct IOQM-2025 on September 7,
2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at multiple centres across India.
3. Students born between August 1, 2006 and July 31, 2013, and studying in Class VIII, IX, X,
XI or XII, are eligible to appear for IOQM-2025.
4. KVs to register online as an exam centre latest by 4th July 2025 at the following link:

5. The last date for student registration is 25th July 2025.
6. The details regarding school and student registration, eligibility criteria, fee structure, and
examination schedule are provided in the attached enclosure. For further details, the

Therefore, it is requested to disseminate the above information to all Kendriya Vidyalayas under
the Region and KVs be directed to register themselves as exam centres latest by 4th July 2025 and
encourage and motivate eligible students to participate in IOQM-2025.
