Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bengaluru offers B.Tech. programmes in nine disciplines,
M.Tech. programmes in five specializations and Ph.D. programmes in Engineering, Sciences
and Philosophy. Outstanding students aspiring for career in engineering from across the
country and abroad are enrolled in these programmes. The school has faculty strength of
more than a hundred and fifty. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is set to get Institute of
Eminence (IoE) status from Union government. Several academicians have come to Amrita
with rich experience from leading organizations. The Departments in the school are
equipped with modern laboratories, design tools and software packages. Highly qualified

Aarohan, the Annual Amrita Science Fest is an initiative of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham,
Bengaluru, to foster a bond between an institution of higher education and schools. Amrita
has successfully hosted Aarohan for ten consecutive years and the eleventh edition is
scheduled on 17th and 18th January, 2025.
