Packing List

Please pack a sufficient supply for 8 days (with extra socks and underwear!) We will do laundry
twice during 1st session and once during 2nd session. Please pack clothing in a suitcase no more
than 11 ¾ inches in height so that it can be stored under the bunk-bed. The cabins offer limited
storage facilities. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Every article of clothing and linens (including sleeping bags and pillows!), as well as water bottles
and flashlights, must be clearly labeled with the camper’s full name. Use a permanent marker on
name tags or labels.

* Marked items are extremely important and are MANDATORY personal gear.

LINENS
* 1 sleeping bag or warm blanket
* 1 pillow
2 sheets (single/cot size)
2 pillowcases
* 2 towels (bath & beach)
1 laundry bag

CLOTHING
* 1 warm jacket
2-3 light jackets/ sweatshirts
2-3 long-sleeve shirts
8 short-sleeve shirts
2-3 pairs jeans/long pants
3 pairs shorts
2-3 pairs of pajamas
1-2 Shabbat outfits (optional)
12 sets underwear
15 pairs socks
2 swimsuits & (optionally) UV protective swim shirts
1 warm hat & (optionally) gloves, for cold evenings
* 2 sun-hats

FOOTWEAR (No open toed shoes except for showering!)


* 2 pairs sneakers/hiking boots. At least one pair should be suitable for nature hikes!
1 pair bathing shoes/flip flops

MISCELLANEOUS & TOILETRY


* 2 flashlights/headlamps (easily lost!) & extra batteries
toiletry bag or carrier with shampoo, soap
* toothbrush & toothpaste
*good skin lotion (very dry mountain air)
stationery/postcards with stamps
pens and pencils
* backpack/daypack (for hikes)
* sunscreen
bug spray (not citronella)
sunglasses
* chapstick (3-4 tubes, they are easily lost!)
hand sanitizer (we will also provide plenty)
* 1-quart water bottle WITH SHOULDER STRAP
brush/comb, hairpins/hair ties

OPTIONAL
Digital camera (NOT a cellphone with a camera)
MP3 player (NOT a cellphone!)
Books or e-reader (NO wifi capabilities!)
Frisbee, sport balls
Musical instruments
Playing cards, board games, Magic the Gathering cards, etc.
