SECTION – A (READING)

Q1. Read the given passage and answer the following questions.
The Amazing World of Honeybees

Honeybees are small, flying insects known for making honey and helping flowers
grow. They live in large groups called colonies, which can contain thousands of
bees. Every honeybee colony has three types of bees: the queen bee, worker bees,
and drones. The queen bee lays all the eggs, worker bees collect nectar and take
care of the hive, and drones help the queen during mating.

Honeybees are excellent flyers. They can visit hundreds of flowers in one trip to
collect nectar. They turn this nectar into honey and store it in the hive to feed the
colony. Bees also carry pollen from one flower to another, which helps plants grow
fruits and seeds. This process is called pollination.

Bees talk to each other through special movements called the “waggle dance.” This
dance tells other bees where to find flowers. Bees are very hardworking and
organized. They build their hives with wax, forming perfect hexagonal shapes that
store honey and keep the hive strong.

Honeybees are important for the environment and for farming. Without bees, many
plants would not be able to grow properly. Though small, honeybees are powerful
