Today is a special day for Mia. It is the first day of school, and she is very excited. She
wakes up early and eats an apple for breakfast. She also drinks a glass of orange juice.

Mia wears a new uniform. She has a blue skirt and a white shirt. In her backpack, she
packs a pencil, an eraser, a notebook, and an umbrella. The weather report says it might
rain later.

Her mother gives her an important message: "Be kind and make a friend today." Mia
smiles and says goodbye.

When she gets to school, Mia sees a big classroom. Inside, there is a teacher with an

Mia finds a seat near the window.
