COMMERCIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
(1) PAYMENT TERMS: -
(i) 50% of the total order value as advance with technically – commercially clear order.
(ii) 50% of the order value before Delivery against Performa invoice.
(2) DELIVERY PERIOD: -
3-4 weeks from the date of receipt of technically & commercially clear order along With advance.
(3) FORCE MAJEURE CLAUSE: - Offer is subject to our standard force majeure Clause.
(4) VALIDITY: - 30 days from the date of this offer extension validity shall be applicable on written
confirmation.
(5) PACKAGING & FORWARDING: - Canopied DG set covered with polyphone cover
(6) TRANSPORTATION: - Transportation charges Inclusive
(7) TRANSIT INSURANCE: - Transit insurance shall be in your account.
(8) OCTROI/ROAD PERMIT/ANY LOCAL ENTRY TAX: - Will be in your Scope.
(9) SCOPE OF SUPPLY:
Our offer is confined to whatever is specifically included and stipulated in the technical and commercial clauses
and is subject to changes as may be mutually agreed upon finalization of the contract.
(10) INSTALLATION:
We can undertake complete installation work of DG set and related works as per the site requirement, please
let us know your interest so that we can arrange to depute our project team for site survey and preparation of
installation offer.
(11) EXCLUSION: Civil work, earthing , power cable, termination , changeover , PWD approval etc.
(12) WARRANTY: -
Our warranty for the machinery is limited to its faulty design, defective materials/ components and/or
workman-ship and is valid until a period of 5.5 years from the date of dispatch of machinery from our
Works/Warehouse or 5 years from the date of commissioning or completion of 5000 hours of
operation, whichever event shall occur first provided the user of the machinery uses recommended genuine
spare parts including “Greaves Maxtherm “ Lub Oil & Coolant wherever applicable and use of Greaves genuine
spares & consumables & rendering service only from Authorized Dealers of Greaves Cotton Ltd. The warranty
shall not apply to fair wear and tear of the individual components or damages due to the negligence or
improper handling by the purchaser or his employees or agents or due to damage by any cause beyond our
control. If the Genset is improperly stored beyond period of six months, recommended long storage treatment
/ preservation is mandatory'. In cases of complaints which are proprietary bought out items, our warranty is
limited to the extent of warranty of the manufacture to us. Warranty in respect of following items will be
restricted to 1000 hours of operation or 6 months, whichever shall occur first.
(a) Meters, alternator components & indicating instruments (b) Protection relays and control fuses (c)
Indication lamps and batteries
The warranty is not applicable for the components having shelf life like rubber components, belts, hoses and
replacement filters / consumables which are normally maintenance spares are not covered within the scope of
this warranty.
Note –
4 Free Servicing Included In the Warranty . (Consumables like Oil, Filters are chargeable).
Any variation in Taxes & duties / Govt. Levies will be to your account.
