NOTICE WRITING

A notice is a formal written or printed communication used to convey important information,


announcements, or instructions to a specific group of people within an organization, typically
including essential details such as date, time, venue, and purpose.

Golden Rules:

 Use capital letters for “NOTICE”, headings, and names.


 Start with “This is to inform…” or “All students are hereby informed…”.
 Use formal, third-person language- they, their etc.
 No “you,” “your,” “our.”
 Keep it clean, to the point, and within the word limit.
 No informal punctuation like “!!!”, “???” or slang.
