2. Create a new Status Window called Radio containg the following four IEs: AS CPICH Ec/No, AS CPICH RSCP, RxLev (sub) dBm and RxQual (sub) dBm
3. Open and replay the logfile 1111_22.log (folder DC Exercise 1) 4. Arrange all windows to display MS2 measurements.

2. MAP Window
1. Run TEMS Data Collection 2. Start a new workspace and open the following windows: WCDMA/GSM Line Chart GSM Radio Parameters Map window Events
3. Open and replay the log file 1111_04.log (folder DC Exercise 2). 4. Use the Add/Edit Theme function and modify the legend in the map window: Show RxLev (sub) dBm for both MS1 and MS2 Remove (or unmark) all WCDMA IEs (RSCP, Ec/No, etc)
5. Change the ranges for RxLev presentation to six levels. 6. Is it possible to display both MS1 and MS2 on the map in parallell using the OffSet function? 7. Add the layer STOCKGL.TAB onto the map and view the result. 8. Use the map window and syncronize all windows on the dropped call. What is the reason for the dropped call?

3. Cell File
Start Data Collection and use the default workspace Investigation WCDMA GSM. 1. Open and replay the log file 0519_04.log (folder DC Exercise 3) and show the measurements for MS1. 2. Load the cell file Ursviken.cel 3. Customize the cell file presentation according to the screenshot below by adding the Cell Line Theme into the cell layer (Tips: Use the Add/Edit Theme function in the map window).

4. Voice Services
1. Start Data Collection and open the Command Sequence window. 2. Create a command sequence for KPI voice calls. 3. Choose duration with focus on accessibility. 4. Have the calls repeated 10 times by using a loop. 5. What is the purpose of using the wait command? 6. Add start/stop recording before and after the loop.
Question: Where would you locate the start/stop recording in order to get ten logfiles instead of only one?

5. Data Services
1. Start Data Collection and open the Command Sequence window. 2. Create a command sequence for KPI Data Service Testing for FTP, HTTP and WAP in sequence by using DC2. 3. For the FTP the KPI should emphasize retainability. 4. Have the sessions repeate. 5. Add wait and Start/Stop Recording.
(Precaution: When runnning data services please reinsure that the dialup/APN is configured) 6. Combine both MS1 Voice Service testing and DC2 Data Service Testing in the same command sequence.

6. Replaying Logfiles
Start Data Collection and use the default workspace Investigation WCDMA GSM. 1. Open and replay the logfile drop1.log (folder DC Exercise 6). 2. Use the Play Properties function in order to increase/decrease speed. 3. Check the information icon to find all the connected devices. 4. Locate the first dropped call by using the Events window and Event Counter window. 5. Customize the Event window showing only the MS/DC with the dropped call. 6. Add the Dropped Call event onto the map window and view the result

8. Creating Events
Start Data Collection and use the default workspace Investigation WCDMA GSM. 1. Open and replay the log file drop2.log (folder DC Exercise 8). 2. Locate the Dropped Call event in the map window. 3. Use the Event Definition window to create an event called Bad Radio with the following parameters: WCDMA, any mobile SAN CPICH RSCP < -95 AND SAN CPICH Ec/No < -12.00
4. Open drop1.log in the map window and show only this event together with the Dropped Call event. 5. Notice the SAN CPICH RSCP and SAN CPICH Ec/No at the first occurrence of the Bad Radio event.

9. Report Generator
1. Use the Report Generator to evaluate all logfiles from GSM Voice. 2. Modify properties and select the following GSM elements: RxLevSub (dBm) using 6 ranges, with the last range from -115 to -102. Edit the threshold to read -90 to -105. RxQualSub using 3 ranges. Add all call events and the event Dropped Call.
3. Run and analyze the report. How many dropped calls have been recorded and in which log files?

4. Save the settings. 5. Add all logfiles loacted in the folder DC Exercise 11 and merge the output. 6. Run the export. 7. Open the file in Wordpad.

13. Signaling
