CALCULATION SHEET AND SYSTEM DESCRIPTION


HYPO-CHLORINATION DOSING SYSTEM
1. Circulating Pumps
Quantity : 2 No. (one working + one standby)
Make : Grundfos, EU or equal
Type : inline centrifugal pump
Electrical : 3 x 400 V, 60Hz

The circulating pump shall have the capacity to circulate the total volume of water inside the tanks at
least once per day. The pump head shall be calculated based on the actual pipe length and fittings.

2. Chemical Dosing Pump


Quantity : 2 Nos. (one working + one standby)
Make : Prominent – Germany or equal
Material Version : PVDF head & fittings
Control : Dual manual control – Speed & stroke length
Power supply : 230 V, 50/60 Hz

The chemical dosing pump shall have the capacity to inject chlorine at a concentration of 0.3 PPM
into the water line. The dosing pump head shall be higher than that of the circulating pump

3. Mixer
Quantity : 1 no.
capacity : The mixer shall be compatible with the dosing tank
capacity to ensure proper mixing and uniform
chemical distribution
Make : ITC, Spain or equal

4. Chemical Tank
Quantity : 1 no.
Tank capacity : enough to operate the pump for a minimum of
one month
Make : Prominent – Germany or equal

5. Float switch
Quantity : 4 no. one per each DP and 2 per each water tank
Make : Prominent – Germany or equal

6. Chlorine Controller.

7. Control Panel:
Control panel with IP55 rated Enclosure, DOL Start, 1 x 230V, 60 Hz power supply, with
front door and bottom cable entry. The panel will enclose all circuit breakers, contactors
& Selector switch. Warning lights and chlorine transmitter shall be mounted on the
front door of the control panel and will be identified with plastic labeling in English
language.
